An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

Day 84:These girls are so close now that I expect the next update to be one for the drying period. The Los #1 is a totally different colour in her ripening to the other 2. She feels like she has biscuit crumbs all over her now too. Her smell is so fresh fruit and I do think days are her time left now. The #2 has continued to swell he buds for the finish and she is colouring up nice too. #3 The poorly girl is steady in her ripening now and the buds are rock solid too. They all have a very fruity smell to them now and it hits me everytime I open the flap. They are on water now for their last few days , just to signal them to start using their leaves for their last feeds. peace and blessings.

Hola con esta semana ya quedamos al dia con el seguimiento ya que estaba atrasado en el tiempo. Se nota una producción de resina notable en esta genética que nos ha gustado mucho por su olor y estructura de las plantas . hemos creado un video por cada una de las 14 plantas del seguimiento, hay varias muy llamativas que están "pre-seleccionadas" para mantener a futuro, el olor que se llega a sentir es muy florar y dulce, si tienen alguna pregunta no duden en preguntar saludos. There is a remarkable resin production in this genetics that we liked a lot for its smell and structure of plants. Day 49- This week I think we cut out the nutes and let them finish, atleast for the mbrxgp. The Pablo’s revenge looks to be about a week or so behind so we’ll go until they’re finished. Smells on the mbrxgp is heavy citrus, lemon almost, slight gas. Pablo’s are very earthy, I’m expecting a hashy, dank finish for them.

Aug 1st Topped her

Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

It has a steady growth, kinda short and bushy like a lot of plants with strong indica traits Very dense buds, big ones, fat and resinous. With a LOT of productions all-over the plant. So much thricome production it sparkles white. Cutes it yesterday (17/12/2023) altough on my opinion it could have 1 more week. Altough because of the huge problem I had to do it. This grow tent (specially the other plant growing side by side) had a mold issue, bud rot spreading fast. I must have lost about 5 65 grams of wet flower total on the Fat Banana. When I cuted it 🍓 Strawberry Cola weighted 829 grams it has a lot of defoliation done alredy but I'll trim it 100% when dry. This is it, thank you all of you growmies for watching this grow. Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

Beautiful transition into flower, will strip and lollipop next week. And start the heavy PK feeding also. Done nothing all week, apart from watering.

Heyo! Morning everyone! I don't even think i need to say, look at her! The smell is not as strange anymore, but still STRONG. Herbally spicy! Also, i removed some lower buds to improve light penetration and distruibution, she seems to answer well to that! Pistils slowly turning orange, as you can see in my failed-ish attempt to take a pic lol

Wochenupdate – Tag 91 | Blüte Tag 31 🌱 Allgemeiner Eindruck Der Grow läuft insgesamt noch stabil, aber man sieht inzwischen recht deutlich, dass die Pflanzen in den letzten Tagen am Limit gefahren sind. Der Blütenaufbau geht weiter voran, der Geruch wird intensiver und die Kush zeigt ordentlich Harz, gleichzeitig zeigen beide Pflanzen sichtbare Calcium- und allgemeine Nährstofftransportprobleme, die klar auf das Klima zurückzuführen sind. Das war für die Blümchen spürbar Stress. 🌡️ Klima & VPD Durch trockene Winter- und Heizungsluft kam es zeitweise zu sehr hohen VPD-Werten (teils im Bereich 1,7–1,9), vor allem morgens – klassisch morgens Sahara, mittags Treibhaus. In dieser Phase stand mein Luftbefeuchter noch bei einer anderen Pflanze. Er ist inzwischen wieder im Blütezelt, wodurch sich das Klima deutlich beruhigt hat. Die aktuellen Symptome zeigen gut, dass der Nährstoff- und Calciumtransport unter dem hohen VPD schlicht eingebrochen war. Nährstoffe & Maßnahmen CalMag wurde ordentlich erhöht, um die Calcium-Verfügbarkeit abzusichern. Zusätzlich wurden Mikroben gegeben, um das System wieder besser ins Arbeiten zu bringen. Bio-Bloom wurde ganz dezent nachgeschoben. Durch das ungünstige VPD haben die Pflanzen zeitweise nicht sauber getrunken, was den Transport zusätzlich ausgebremst hat. Seit der Entlaubung an BT21 ist der Wasserverbrauch sowieso etwas geringer. Jetzt heißt es: abwarten, wirken lassen, Geduld üben 🐛 Schädlingslage Trauermücken gehen dank Nematoden langsam zurück. Trips sind weiterhin präsent, daher gab es nochmals Raubmilben sowie Florfliegenlarven zur Regulierung. ✅ Fazit Insgesamt bin ich weiter zuversichtlich. Der Stretch ist eingefangen, die Richtung stimmt, auch wenn das Klima kurz deutlich zu hart war. Jetzt geht es darum, das Setup stabil zu halten und den Pflanzen Zeit zu geben, sich wieder sauber einzupendeln. Draußen Winter, drinnen Blüte. Allen eine gute Woche. 🌱 RockoCalenberg Weekly Update – Day 91 | Flower Day 31 🌱 Overall Impression Overall the grow is still running stable, but it’s now quite clear that the plants have been pushed close to their limit over the last days. Bud development is progressing, the smell keeps getting stronger and the Kush is showing plenty of resin. At the same time, both plants show visible calcium and general nutrient transport issues, clearly linked to the climate. This phase definitely caused some stress. 🌡️ Climate & VPD Due to dry winter air and heating, VPD levels were temporarily very high (partly around 1.7–1.9), especially in the mornings – classic Sahara in the morning, greenhouse at noon. During that time, the humidifier was still running with another plant. It has since been moved back into the flower tent, which helped calm and stabilize the climate again. The current symptoms clearly show that nutrient and calcium transport was simply maxed out under those high VPD conditions – this wasn’t just isolated spots, but visible overall. Nutrients & Actions CalMag was increased properly to secure calcium availability. In addition, microbes were applied to help the system get back into balance. Bio-Bloom was topped up very lightly. Because of the unfavorable VPD, the plants were not drinking cleanly at times, which further limited nutrient transport. Since the defoliation at FD21, overall water uptake has been slightly lower and is being taken into account. For now it’s about waiting and letting things work, without further interventions. 🐛 Pest Situation Fungus gnats are slowly declining thanks to nematodes. Thrips are still present, so another round of predatory mites was added, along with lacewing larvae for additional control. ✅ Conclusion Overall I’m still confident. Stretch is under control and the direction is right, even though the climate was clearly too harsh for a short period. Now it’s about keeping everything stable and giving the plants time to settle back in. Winter outside, flowering inside. Wishing everyone a good week. 🌱 RockoCalenberg
