25/07/25: Another week in the books, and the ladies are progressing—slowly but surely. Bud development is moving along, though the cool and cloudy German "summer" isn't exactly speeding things up. Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine in august to help ripen those buds and add some extra weight before harvest!🤞🏼☀️ Other than that, not much to report this week—no major changes or issues. Just letting nature do it's thing! 🌿

Alright, so she had a rather traumatic week. The pics won't show it, but here's what happened. I was supercropping her at the beginning of last week and all but snapped one of her lower branches, off. I taped it up and prayed... full recovery as of this post! The branch was wilting all week and all of a sudden the break point knuckled up and she began carrying on with bud development. She's been drinking nutes like a fuckin' fish. I've been watching the tips for burn, but it seems to be my nutrient regiment is right on the money. No burnt tips, just happy plant. Cheers all! 🍻 5-6 weeks until the chop! Ya gotta give Ethos a chance. Stellar run, EVERY time.

I thought I just had two of this strain, but it turns out that the 134g plant was actually a C4 hybrid! It isn't as pungent smelling as the others, but seems to have it's own unique flavor going on. It was another great week here in the grow room plants have come leaps and bounds low stress training is really having a huge effect on canopy density and i cannot be happier

Let’s see , humidity is an issue . It’s higher than I’d like it to be . I added drip pans & two different miniature forms of dehumidifiers one electronic and the other passive . I need recommendations on affordable dehumidifiers before I run into mold issues . After breaking the apical dominance there was one or two issues but it gave me all the more admiration for the genetics to take a beating and still remain unbothered & WHOLE . A main top was bound too tightly & broke in half trying to pull itself back up . It remained broken and unnoticed for atleast 3 days before I saw the damage and taped it . She is now almost fully scarred over & healed . Vertical growth was decent this week I wouldn’t describe it as fast or explosive. Still watering to activate the dry amendments I can tell they haven’t began taking it up quite yet. Holy shit do they stink when not premixed into the soil before planting ! Just monitoring & trying to get as much dense continuous resin packed bud stacked up in there .

After a hard week, you can finally see the effects of my efforts, if you look at the photo of my girl from day 43 and you compare it with 45, you can see the differences in the color of the leaves. The new set of fertilizers works and my darling seems to be happy, let it be like that all the time without any problems :) This is the first time that I am growing a photopyriodic girl, after changing the light cycle to 12/12 you can finally see her reactions. I am excited and waiting for the situation to develop 😍 By the way, she drinks 1.25 liters a day, 5 liters in 4 days. Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Purple Urkle has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. So we are at 8 very small branches growing my program for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16 wait a few days and move on to flowering. 16 Tops as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. You are going strong from the beginning there was a bit of a shortage but as I explain this week during the topping everything changes. We are in competitive days, the world lives the competition in a lively way and so if someone were to ask me or were interested which is the best of the photoperiodic plants I have inside for now I would say the Purple Urkle. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always take care not to damage the new branches in growth. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly fit at this point and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now they are a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and from the start and add nitrogen only if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Week 3 Switched from grow to fish mix this week. This week she had a bit of stress with being too close to the light but after moving her down she seemed fine. She’s a resilient girl, I’ve made many mistakes already but she just bounces back. Installation of carbon filter on day 19. Used rain water again this week seems to be no problems so far. A friend told me I need to purchase some calmag and bio heaven. The only two ones I didn’t currently have. I’m getting a little confused with using these organic products I’m used to using Dutch pro chems in the past but I’m sure I’ll get there in the end. There’s just so much to learn.
