We are reaching full maturity slowly but surely. The pheno on the left is a solid week ahead of the one on the right. They are finishing quite differently. The left has reached full color showing yellows and purples about 12 days ago. Her velvety flowers a plump and juicy looking and remind me of a sour candy. The one on the right is showing signs from the flush but calyx swell and trichrome production has yet to peak. The smell is intense and even slightly different then the critical Kush I've experienced in the past. Pheno A will be harvested this week I'm guessing. Watching trichromes day to day at this point. I like just a bit of amber.

New week. 55-65 DLi. Been smoking some Pakistani Landrace this week, must say, its exceptional. The plant shifts its energy entirely from vegetative growth to flower production. Small blemishes are creeping in, but expected, holding up remarkably well given the circumstances. A high CEC acts as a nutrient "storehouse", preventing essential cations from being washed away by water (leaching) and making them available for gradual plant uptake. Soils with high CEC can store larger quantities of nutrients, allowing for less frequent, potentially larger, fertilizer applications compared to low-CEC (sandy) soils which require smaller, more frequent doses. By providing a steady and dependable supply of nutrients, high-CEC soils support healthier plant growth and potentially higher crop yields. High CEC is typically associated with soils rich in clay and organic matter, which also generally have a greater water-holding capacity, benefiting crops during dry periods. While high-buffer soils require larger amounts of amendments (like lime) to change their pH initially, they need to be limed or amended less frequently, simplifying long-term management. High CEC and buffering capacity work together to create a stable, nutrient-rich, and resilient soil environment that is highly conducive to healthy plant growth.

The plants have limited space and are in 4 litre pots too keep them controlled. This week I defoliated again and started adding sugar royal.

03/05/2021 Beginning of week 4 looking good, I think she will start flowering in week 5-6, so I might top her, she is growing fast so I hope it will not harm flowering time. Ps. I did top And 24 hours later I can see all is well, where I topped her is healing, and side branches responding! I know she will be ready for flowering. Check out video and see.

Day 43 purpling petioles is back. Root zone ph tests are perfect 5.9 6.0. She is fed at only 650 ppm on constant drip feed. Anything higher and was seeing some tip burn. May try low low low dose pk boost. I've read up on adding at 1/8 strength and feed middle 3 weeks can help. Think I'm going to give it a shot next reservoir change. Day 44 res change. Implemented Canna PK boost at 10% strength. Filled res with 2 gal. Will monitor plants signals. A couple bottom leaves yellowed and died. Not concerned as the leaves where well below canopy and low light conditions. Day 45 .75 gal consumed. All is well Day 46 she drank another 3/4 gal last night. Maintenance flush completed. Adjusted fan to above canopy and while doing so my hand inadvertently brushed against a bud and she smells of pure lemon candy at the moment. Stunning. Day 47 another 3/4 gal gone and the top of the coco had a few dry splotches. She's out drinking my feeder. I may have to add a second carrot to the pot. Day 48 she drank a gal last night. I think I finally got her flowering nutes dialed back in. Initial runoff ppm coming out same as going in. Overall appearance strong and healthy. Added 3 gal to res. Day 49 checked her at lights on and she was bone dry. Somehow got an air bubble in the drip line. Immediately drenched her. she looks fine. Fingers crossed. Added some pics/vids of some propagators that I'm playing around with. No MJ yet, but its spring and planting my herbs and veggies.

Hello everyone. Here is the update for my Mac 1 F1 hybrid clones. The two plants are entering week 8 of the vegetative state. As I mentioned a couple of weeks before, I have no flowering tent available right now. Because of this, they have to keep waiting in line until a tent opens up so they can finally switch to flowering. Humidity is well in check, sitting comfortably between 61% and 67%. The temperature is swinging between 21°C and 26°C at the peak moments, though it mostly stays under 24°C. There really isn't much else to tell for this week. Last week's plant showed an adorable life power, I hope this one will be the same or better ^_^ (14d) I'm not noticing that now, but it still grows excellent! update (17d): it grows perfectly fast and robust. Box stayed outside and the morning sun heated it up to 40 degrees and humidity was 24%, so I moved the tent to my apartment. I like what I have now. (17d) Initially, I planned not to interfere grow process. No LST or any kind of topping, just defoliation, but now I started to think about LST and SCROG. MB I will start LST at the end of this week. (19d) LST. It grows very fast, and I worry that it can cause problems in my short tent. How do I calculate: 1.6m total size - (0.3m pot + 0.2m between the led lamp and strain) = 1.1m - which is less than the max size of the plant. I don't plan to bend strongly to the ground in a spiral, but I just wanna move the plant's living powers a bit ^_^ 20d even after 1 day I can see a major speed up in side branches growing tempo. I hope that will take some living power and plant size will be lower without losing weight (^_^) 20d during changing the pot's stand I shook the plant too much and broke one branch (marked on the photo with a red line). I propped up it so can't even see the breakpoint. Finally got my voodoo juice, and start using it instead of my GHE root booster.

Growing nicely, I'm hopeful she will be colorful later on in her life. She will be going outside, I have wind blowing to strengthen the stems up to prepare for mother nature.

After going back and forth about the harvest, I decided to give her another week. It feels like the right balance between playing it safe and giving the plant the chance to fully express herself. The flowers keep maturing, the trichomes continue to develop and the terpene profile becomes more intense. The buds are getting heavy enough that several branches are now resting on the net for support. Without it, they would probably start collapsing under their own weight. The finish line is close now. Time to stay patient and let nature do the rest.
