420 Fastbuds Week 4 Blackberry Auto This week has been awesome for these girls. They have gone into preflower showing off some amazing colors. I did add 1tsp/gal of some GH calimagic to the feeding to combat the few rust spots I saw on a couple lower leafs. Seemed to solve the issue since haven't seen any new spots show up. Will continue to keep the same routine up as it's working just great. All in all Happy Growing

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur neunten Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Heute dann doch mal wieder an einem Montag :). Ich habe es nach dem Mary-Jane-Wachenden leider noch nicht nach Hause geschafft. Allerdings habe ich paar Bilder vorproduziert, um hier nicht mit leeren Händen aufzutauchen. Ich bin die letzte Woche ein wenig durch die heimischen Wälder flaniert und habe den ein oder anderen Schatz bergen können. Aber alles der Reihe nach … Da ich messbedingt nicht bei den Pflanzen sein konnte und das mit dem Gießdienst an Dritte abgeben mal so, mal so funktioniert. Dachte ich mir, man muss der Verdunstung und der damit einhergehenden Trockenheit etwas entgegensetzen. Ich habe mich als kurz und knapp für eine Mulchschicht entschieden. Diese schützt nicht nur vor Austrocknung, sondern macht ebenso die obere Erdschicht für die Durchwurzelung brauchbar. Sie ist obendrein ein weiterer Schritt zu einem gesunden Bodennahrungsnetzwerk. Dieses wird durch die in dem auf dem Grünschnitt/Waldlaub enthaltenen Mikroorganismen (Protozonen, Wimperntierchen), welche durch das Belüften im Tank nochmals gefördert werden, noch einmal gestärkt. Last but not least führt der Mulch dazu, dass Schadorganismen das Einfallen in die obere Erdschicht erschwert wird. Aber was ist drin? Ähnlich wie schon beim Komposttee wird bakterienreiches organisches Material in einen Tank mit vorzugsweise Regenwasser gegeben und anschließend über einen gewissen Zeitraum belüftet (siehe Woche 5). Der wohl größte Unterschied zum Komposttee ist, dass wir eher auf das Material und nicht auf die Flüssigkeit aus sind. Dieses besteht zu ca. 90 % aus Grünschnitt (in meinem Fall eine Biokleintiermischung) und zu ca. 10 % aus Laub, welches ich in einem wenig bis gar nicht bewanderten Waldstück gesammelt habe. Die richtige Platzwahl: Bei der Platzwahl war mir wichtig, einen möglichst naturbelassenen Teil des Waldes auszusuchen, um eine Kontaminierung von bspw. Müll oder Hundeurin zu vermeiden. Ebenso habe ich nach Material Ausschau gehalten, welches schon Kontakt mit einem Pilzmyzel und dem ein oder anderen Regenwurm aufwies. Beides sind Indikatoren für ein gesundes Bodenleben. Zum Schluss … Nun einfach alles in einen großen Tank, Wasser drauf und Pumpe an. Belüftet wurde das Ganze für drei Tage. Danach das Material entfernen und luftig um die Pflanzen aus Ringen (leicht in den Boden einarbeiten). Um mit so wenig Waste wie möglich zu arbeiten, habe ich dann noch das Wasser gegossen. Dieses ist sehr reich an Mikroorganismen. Aber nun (besser spät als nie) noch ein paar Credits: Und zwar an Flo von Florganics, von dem ich das meiste Wissen um den Komposttee, die Erdmischung sowie auch das Mulchen bezogen habe. All die genannten Themen sind nochmal deutlich detaillierter auf seinem Yt-Kanal (Florganics) zu finden. Noch ein kurzes Wort zu den Damen: Soweit sehen alle sehr saftig und grün aus. Mit dem Toppen warte ich noch, bis ich wieder da bin. Alles in allem sollte am Ende doch ein wenig herauskommen (im Optimalfall 50 g/Person). Das war’s für diese Woche. This last week the plant have ended the water of the reservoir so it has consumed itself to keep developing larger buds, on day 72 ut has been harvested.

Day 125. Chop day. Report will follow, maybe smoke quality will be that only positive thing in all dirt that this strain brought me .... Dry triming chosen. Plants where such crap that never got names even, so Smaller and Taller plant is chopped. Other two went hermie.

She’s taking her sweet time now! I found a nanner and pulled it off, but I have to keep an eye out. You can see from the trichome shots that she is not ready yet... thinking maybe 1-2 more weeks—-hoping for sooner. Going to start a flush because of the leaf yellowing. Otherwise, she’s moving along! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Chug chug chug! I think I have about a week or two left for most of them and probably like 4 of these will need an extra week or so aha. Frosting up beautifully; the camera does no justice! But I believe I should start reducing my feed or either flush with molasses and kelp like I’ve grown fond of doing come close to harvest time. Again the smells emanating from this tent is so beautiful, candy sweet orangey smells 🌬️🌬️🌬️

Germination was successful in 24 hours!

Day 23 of Veg: after watching the video I fully soaked my fabric pot for the first time too little to no run off. Since I am running organic I want to make sure not to lose those precious nutes. I had to place a space heater because the cold kinda snuck up on myself. With adjustment to the lights output the tent was at a cooler temp. So I had to substitute with a oscillation heater. So right now 59% humidity and 78 degree temp is set in the tent with 300ppfd. 2 oscillating fans and a 6 in exhaust fan. The LST on the 2 plants recovered great so far and adjusting the temp and light has shown a more deeper green the base of the main trunk is pretty solid. Thicker than my first grow for sure. I feel I was able to get the LST on the main trunk almost to a 90 to get that even canopy. Day-24 New A/C infinity controller and fan installed, removed some components in the tent to clean it up. Wiped down the floor. The sock had so much dust in the filter from not having an air filter on the inlet. It’s crazy how much dust can be in a tent. The controller is set and seems so seem less. Tested ppfd again sitting right 310. Day 25 New A/C infinity setup is working like a champ. So impressed. No watering today the medium is still moist to the touch. The LST has really stretched the bud sites out. My only other grow being Girl Scout cookies and Northern Lights the plants were a lot taller or maybe I just LST them later in their grow cycle. Also could’ve been the strain. Feeling good about this grow. Hopefully the timed amendments get me to the end. I am 90% positive I am suppose to feed and top dress 30 days into flower. Day 26LST again today. I feel like this strain is short and bush and I am LSTing them too much. The plants are green and I hooked them up with 6.4ph water.

This is the beggining of the fourth flowering week. Not hurry at all. Just moved out from my not so private apartment and this is the first 5 days of her inside of a wardrobe, which is fantastic showing those results. I have much time to wait and Im not hurry at all. Expecting to have at least 6 weeks more blooming. 07/04 - Total of 88 days old. Fed her today with 1/3 of 4-14-8 fert. She's showing good Healthy, like she wants more of everything (Light, fert, water, CO2). Intending to let her blooming 60 days more. (8 weeks).

Last 10 days for the banana before harvest. Have been flushing for around 5 days now. The Sour D will get its last feeding in a few days before going into flush. Been checking the trichomes rapidly on the Fat banana and they are crystal clear with some of them being milky. I will give it 4 days more before putting it under total darkness for 48 hours.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... Super stoked for last week, watching her flower is pretty incredible, so from pretty much week 9 of veg up till now I've been feeding her half strength base nutrients with fluctuating strengths of sensizym and Cal-Mag always mixed with 8L of basic filtered water. Update January 5 2020. Back from my fishing trip! Happy to say that everything with the durban is going swimmingly, I fed her today 8L with half strength base nutrients and half strength of sensizym. I will probably do one more feeding with sensizym and call it good.. in two-three weeks I will start adding my Overdrive nutrients to my base. January 11 update: Not much going. Just playing the waiting game now. January 13 update: its gotten really cold here, like -37 with wind so I put a ceramic heat emitter back in, now back up to 250w heat running 24/7. Growing in an unheated shop is definitely a challenge! But with the other one in things are picking up and shits drying out finally. Should have put the other heater back in a week ago. My bad. January 15 update: -37!! Holy fu*ck, fed her 3L of mixed nutrients at half strength. With just a splash of overdrive. January 17 update: outside temps finally warming up to -25°c yay!! Inside grow box temps up to 28°c she likes it warm, Fed her the remaining food I had mixed up, she got about 5L. Seeing fattening of the bud sites👀👌 January 19 update: No idea when this happened but it did.. got a crack right at first top. Now I know to leave more of stem above where it splits off into two. Quick tape fix till I figure it out, fed her 5L of mixed food with just under full strength OverDrive and some organic growth plus.. it has a high pk so I'm using it once. January 21 update: things are slowing down now, just a waiting game to find that nice mix of cloudy/amber trichomes. Might feed one more time then it's on to flushing! January 23 update. Fed her another 5L of mixed nutrients with full strength OverDrive. Seems how I have about 2-3weeks left, that will be the last feed. I have lots of "buffer" leaves and pretty sure I've been overfeeding a bit so it's now flush time.. I will be flushing for last 2-3 weeks with just plain PH'd tap water. My "buffer" leaves should keep it going till it's time. January 25 update: first flush done with about 8L of store bought RO water. Water that came out was slightly brown. No point checking run off yet as its first flush. I will check ppms next flush in a few days. She's starting to smell really good! Like an earthy diesel . January 27 update: wasn't going to but the leaves are dry as f*** so dumped in another 8l of RO flush water. Trichomes are I'd say 99 to 100% cloudy with a few Amber's here and there.. I will try to time it for Feb 1st harvest. If I'm a few days early due to flushing coco then so be it. January 28 update: no water. Still seeing some slight fattening of the buds. Every bud site including the lower pop corn buds are just covered in dense trichomes🤤 I'm going to have some pretty killer trim to work with.. I will be making canna butter for the first time😀 side note: will be cleaning the grow box tomorrow when the lights are on. January 29 update: None. I did however find out sunglasses make great UV filters for taking pictures and videos 👍 January 30 update: None. January 31 update: large flush with about 14L of water, cleaned out run off tray. That's pretty much it.. oh, trimmed a few more leaves that were covering any buds. So close I can almost taste it!!! 🤤🤤 sure not very strong smelling though🤨. I'm sure that will change once I start chopping into her. February 1st update: 10L flush, noticed one of my intake fans has been off for some time now🤦‍♂️🏻 fired that back up. I did mention that I might harvest today.. she's not quite ready yet, I will let her dry out 3days prior and do a 48hr darkness prior to harvest as well. February 3rd update: last day of week 16, trichomes are right where I want them for the affect I'm after.(and will continue to amber up during cure) So tonight I will be chopping her down. Going to do a "wet" trim and hang buds in the drying rack till ready for curing jars. Planning on a 3 week minimum cure time. I would to thank everyone for the kind words/likes and encouragement!!
