420Fastbuds FBT2311/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. All in all Happy Growing

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Ciao a tutti! Ho finalmente finito il mio primo giro in idroponica. Dunque, al netto dei miei errori che avevo messo in preventivo, è un metodo davvero ottimo per coltivare. Salta subito all'occhio la velocità palese con cui crescono le piante, molto di più rispetto al metodo classico a terra. A suo favore posso anche dire che lascia molto più pulito il box non avendo terra e quant'altro. I vasi da svuotare sono pratici, mi sono segnato però delle tacche per segnare i livelli a diversi litri, da poter capire come fare quando si deve rabboccare di acqua. Le note dolenti. Beh innanzitutto sconsigliato assolutamente a luglio e agosto per via delle temperature, l'acqua nel vaso dovrebbe stare a 22 gradi al massimo, io stavo almeno a 5 in più. Poi, avendo 35 litri d'acqua in 3 vasi e avendo 10 prodotti da utilizzare nella quantità di 2 ml/l, non posso dire che sia la via più economica. Anche se bisogna valutare anche che, soprattutto in vegetativa, si rabboccano i prodotti anche a distanza di 2 settimane,quindi con ampie pause tra una volta e l'altra. Ho sbagliato a calcolare l'allungamento quando le ho girate in fioritura, si sono allungate almeno il doppio di quello che pensavo e così facendo non si sono formati dei bei fiori apicali grossi, ma tanti fiori sulla stessa ramificazione e quindi ci ho rimesso almeno in impatto visivo di sicuro. Però questa è una cosa che dipende dalla velocità dell'idroponica, la prossima volta lo so e mi comporterò di conseguenza. Nota dolente assai: la muffa. Ho sbagliato a volerla fare nel periodo estivo, fa troppo caldo e per mitigare la temperatura ho usato anche l'umidificatore in fioritura. Errore madornale, ho buttato via 60-70 grammi. Già l'estate scorsa ho avuto problemi di temperatura, la prossima sicuramente non coltiverò, sono stato un cretino.

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

Update 14/11 - plant has now dried for a week. Will wait for branches to snap and start jarring After 2 days of darkness. Plant was wet trimmed loosely and chopped as a whole. Currently hung up to dry for the next 7 ish days. Nice looking colas this time around :)

Random bagseed I found, was my first plant. Even though I messed up a lot and this plant didn't turn out as I had hoped, it was an invaluable learning experience and I look forward to using what I learned to make my future plants greater. Wet Trimmed and placed in jars in the mini-fridge to dry.

It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) At the start of my first proper week of growth she seemed to be doing really well. I noticed her stretching quite a bit, so I moved to the light a bit closer. This seems to have done the trick. Thanks to everyone on Grow Diaries who answered my question about burying some of the stem when transplanting. I decided to move to a slightly bigger pot (from 1litre to 3.8 litres) so that I could bury some of her stretchyness. This was based on advice from you guys - so thank you! She seems to have taken to the transplant well. I made sure the EC and PH of both mediums were very close.

Day 57-63 Week 9 Halfway through last week, I noticed a issue with a wilting, deep water culture bucket. I realized there was a possibility I created an imbalanced solution for my plant that shuts them out, even though it was in the correct p.H range I probably encouraged mold or stagnant root growth. They are all picking up.Don't look stressed.They look happy and pointing towards the light.
