Welcome to week 6 of the FastBuds LSD-25. I'm a little concerned that she's not turning purple. Other LSD-25 journals the color comes in a little later. Another concern is brown spots on the leaves which seems to be a calcium deficiency 😰. I've already tried to correct the issue by bumping up the CalMag to 4mL/gal and getting the ph down to 6.2. Some defoliation by removing leaves that are covering bud sites. The training on her is pretty good, kinda level canopy, and good light penetration. Day 51 I finally see that they are gaining weight and starting to regain color. Thursday they will take the advanced nutrients hoping to be able to improve even more. Day 56 the girls are blocked but it is my fault .. Day 35 – Vegetation This little one is struggling a bit after being overwatered. The leaves are drooping heavily, and some lower fan leaves are starting to yellow and fade, clear signs of too much moisture in the root zone. The canopy is still intact, and new growth looks like it will bounce back once the soil dries out. For now, I’m holding off on any watering until the pot feels nice and light. Increased airflow with a fan and a slightly warmer environment should help the medium dry faster. No signs of pests or severe damage yet – just giving her time to recover. Once she perks back up, the plan is to resume light feeding and gentle training to keep her on track for the upcoming Stage.

From the 4 plants from this run this is the dankest. The smell and taste is just out of this world. It has such a complex terpene profile - fruit, sour, cheesy, sweet, earthy - I can't even describe it. Amazing! Only downside is that it grew to be a very very short plant, very squated, thus the yield was so low. Nonetheless definetely worth it!

NOTES: Keeping EC at around 1,5 and pH at 6,0-6,2. Everything looks great and I'm hoping for amazing crop to start the year with! One Ayahuasca Purple seems to be clearly ahead of others in flowering but that's fine. I'm going to harvest them all at the same time so I'll have a few different terpene profiles on the finished product, since they are all grown from seeds and not from clones. Day78 (2.1.) Day79 (3.1.) Light defoliation to reveal more bud sites and to remove some lower growth that aren't getting any light. Day80 (4.1.) At last I've finished defoliating and pruning for all my plants. I think there is no need to remove anything before harvesting them. It took a hell lot of time to finish since I have 13 plants pretty close to each other that I can't move separetly. Also using garden-ties to bend some plants a bit for better light coverage. Day81 (5.1.) Day82 (6.1.) Tied some more branches for better light coverage. Day83 (7.1.) Day84 (8.1.) I found a hermaphodite/bi-sexual plant! Strain was Kush Mintz and I haven't seen any signs on other plants. Keeping close eye on everything, hopefully I got it removed on time... I cut it off after analyzing the situation and hang it to dry in another room. It was clearly the smallest plant even though it seemed to flower just fine till this day when I found out those small banana-like pollen sacks. I'm praying this won't ruin my entire crop.🙏 Added a couple pics after removing it from the tent.

Calyxes are starting to fatten up. Trichomes are building nicely on all 3 plants this week. The aroma in the tent is getting stronger daily. Switching to a lighter nutrient feed this next week before flushing. Really pleased with how flowering is progressing in all 3 plants.

She flowered very fast. The smaller ones smell different and have more shiny flowers very nice, it smelled very strong at the end, while trimming the buds a smell of fruit and gas spread trough the whole house

Day 42 Ph run off is back in range 6.3-6.5 getting some slight nute burn tips I am assuming due to nutrients actually being available now haha next feed will cut 1 gram of nutrient powder see how she responds

Today is 3 weeks since Mexican Airlines broke out of the soil to become a seedling. She has really done a lot of cool growth in the time👍. I'm going to try changing up my training methods with this girl. First, I'm only doing one HST bend near the base of the stem (did this on Tuesday). Next, I'm going to try FIM'ing this time, instead of topping. GWE seemed to recommend a FIM pinch one a FIM cut, so that's what I did on Thursday. Last, I'm going to try LST again. Each Epic Buzz plant now boasts a minimum of six nodes, some even presenting with eight—a clear sign of their readiness for substantial vegetative expansion. The application of 1 liter of a well-formulated nutrient solution, composed of Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, on a tri-weekly schedule, is ensuring these plants are not wanting for nourishment. Turning to the Tent-X graphs, we observe a well-maintained VPD during the day, demonstrating that the controller is effectively managing the tent's climate to optimize plant transpiration and growth. However, the graphs also reveal a challenge with nighttime VPD management. The inability to maintain optimal VPD levels after lights off suggests the Smart Mars Hydro fan isn't adequately managing humidity levels during these crucial hours. This night-time dip in VPD is a concern, as it can lead to a less efficient gas exchange and potentially create an environment conducive to unwanted pathogens. The urgency to connect the Mars Hydro fan to the Tent-X system is underscored by this data, as doing so will likely resolve the humidity management issue and maintain a consistent VPD, crucial for the plants' overnight health and vigor. Aside from this, the daytime VPD control is commendable, with the Tent-X system keeping parameters within the target range, ensuring the plants' transpiration is at its peak efficiency for healthy growth.
