Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

Feed adjusted to make way for new growth out of the purgatory phase 3 stage with HP 50ml/20L MB 1ml/20L Canna A/B 3ml/L 60ml/20L Her roots can now absorb the fresh nutes with aids like Methylene Blue and Hydrogen Peroxide. When they leave purgatory phase 1 The roots are gentle and weak and giving 2weeks to adapt to low salt feed. You came then bring in the army again.

END OF WEEK 4 FLOWER Seems to be going well, nice to be able to sit back and watch these girls grow :D Had some bleaching on a few of the nugs, so I dimmed the light slightly and managed to raise it an extra 5cm. I also bent a few of the taller stems out from directly underneath. Big Mumma is killing it, some real nice and dense little nugs on her.

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

well all is going well the buds are developing good and it looks like i'm going to have a good harvest after all. stopt giving the canna pk13/14 and lowered all the nutrient a little bit. saw some tips of the leaves a little bit burned. its my first time under the viparspectra and i'm curious about the outcome. next week more news.... tried a technique called bud swelling on some stems of my plant. you cut of the tops from al the buds on your stem and they should get bigger . let's try it on 4 stems and see in a few weeks if this technique makes a difference. i will add a video how i did it and this you need to do with al the buds .

Topped this little herercane on day 11 and she is starting to grow some little branches. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon. Other than that just playing the waiting game....

She is definitely came back to life and now under 12/12 so far looking very healthy indeed

amended so there is enough for the plant to finish flowering. After the 3rd week they are really perking up and getting that fat structure on the buds. Starting to smell very danky. Can't wait to taste this one under these new grow conditions.

The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training.
