Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. Medical Mass is a new medical cannabis strain with a high CBD content and a low THC level that provides good medical properties without a strong psychoactive effect. This is a mostly indica plant that contains 40% sativa and 60% indica. Critical Mass and CBD rich strain were crossed to create this amazing valuable variety. The plant suits both for indoors and outdoors, for beginner and experienced growers. The strain grows up to 60 - 100 cm tall and produces good yields for such height of about 500 - 550 gr/m2. The plant demonstrates great results even in small spaces. The flowering time takes only 7-8 weeks and the harvest comes in late September. The smoke brings very strong, intense flavors with sweet notes of honey and skunk and an intense pleasant relaxation. Medical Mass is the great choice for each medical user due its small height, ease of growing, fast flowering and of course great medical potency. 2017-09-01. Thank you. Growing cannabis is an art that seems to evolve as you learn it. While it may only take a little knowledge to get started, It seems that this may take a life-time to perfect (doubt I'll ever make that category, but I will certainly try). It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Day 99 – Royal resilience in full bloom! What a week it’s been in Ramsgate — mostly dry, high UV, and just enough breeze to test her stems! Yet this CBD Auto 20:1 by FastBuds stands proud and unfazed. She’s forming a majestic canopy with striking vertical growth, and those buds are stacking like she means business. After 17 days since the last Bat Guano top-dress, I’m preparing for a final microboost — a light sprinkle to support resin and terpene production as she enters her ripening phase. When I started the week of drying, I smelled the intense sheet cake and cherry from the flowers, it didn't surprise that he named it the je cheesecake.

Day 57 about to do my first schwazz Day 60 did a heavy defoliation. Not quite a schwazz. Almost Filled a 2 gallon bucket up with clippings a lot more light and air penetration is available. I think she’ll bounce back nicely Day 64. As the week comes to an end. I am very pleased with the progress. Canopy is nice and even. You can’t tell which one is the main cola. And for a little 300 watt light even the lower flowers are getting pretty dense. Still a long way to go. I would imagine this one will take over 90 days before see Amber. But we shall see

Last week, last round, last ride! What a lovely journey till know. I checked with my microscope the trichomes and are getting at right point cloudy. My pistils are on that 70% mark I rate, and think that just got the timing right before I exit the apartment. I also think that having a few days available I would have go on a little more. Can't wait to harvest!!!😉

Getting ready to flip to flower in a week or two with some trellis work. I should've shaved the legs of these ladies but I was unprepared for clones this week so I'll probably shave them this weekend. I'm happy with the results thus far. 🎋🌲🍃

I use a 70/30 solution of H2O2 and tap water inside a small capsule, allowing the seed to soak for 24 hrs, and she was ready for her birthday, already showing a tap root in that time span... I then place the seed into a damp paper towel to allow the tap root to extend a little further out in preparation for the transplant. I'll start her in a small grow bag filled with my amended Pro Mix seed starter blend, hopefully making a strong seedling for my first AutoPot run. This is for their grow off, which I found on their Discord server, but they are very active on FB and IG... Their catalog of offerings are definitely connoisseur genetics, most importantly, Made in the USA! 🇺🇲

done a defoliation on both the girls to get a nice air flow though into the canopy, as I was pulling down one of the main stems on the BPP I cropped it, not intended to snap the branch.

My second hydro grow and it seems I failed a bit here: 1. Too little defoliation and airflow 2. More light to mid and lower branches. Low light and low airflow made the buds stretch a lot and be airy, not taking much light made them white and mostly tasteless (cardboard taste). Upper branches brings the sweet taste of this strain up but effects were quite low. Even thou the high is enjoyable and taste from upper buds are tolerable. Lower and mid buds gone to trash unfortunately. I'll stop for this Summer with Hydro, but will try my 3th time in winter

Good day, everyone!!! My Phoenix still in VEG. Looks great, I made Main-lining this time, the plant looks like octopus :) I use Grow Powder Green House Feeding + Hybrid powder. ( one by one). It is enough for now. The Phoenix looks more sativa dominant, already about 35cm . Two times a week I add extra CalMag . Please check the pictures and this week short video.

Patiently waiting for her stretch to finalise and focus on buds!! Very happy with the overall health and look of the plant. Maybe another 4-5 weeks harvest?

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

Esta semana los nutrientes siguen de la misma manera, es notorio el exceso de Nitrogeno por ende se disminuira en los próximos riegos, se realizaron podas apicales en los clones que no les hice anteriormente para que alcanzaran más altura. Dentro de esta semana instalare la malla scrog Kanovi para guiar los vigorosos brotes. Además esta semana ya esta retomando el crecimiento la planta madre variedad Tangie la cual cumplió su ciclo de propagación por esquejes y porfin florecerá. First week of flower not much to do, defoliate few leaves and leave the plant to do its thing. As far as training most of it is already done now so just letting plant stretch up and get some decent height.
