This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

Melon Gum is starting to form her cola sites. Everything is looking good. I will be doing a solution change soon. Missed last week update but did some cutting girls have to live up to the mission 73 between the 5 plant....added one more which was a cutting from a seed plant harvested previous...didn't look like I did anything so cut dem a few day later 85 between the same plants... only cut the lower half of G4 n smaller inside branches( going to stop they dont hold up well)

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and will be giving her some water and nutes tomorrow. All is going well and gonna start keeping an eye on the trichs. She’s not really a big fat plant and I’ve never really had one grow so lengthy before but she’s definitely putting on same nice weight and an amazing smell. Day 79 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today, she was pretty dry and ready. Other than that, I’m just letting her go for now and I’m not needing to do much defoliating lately. Day 80 - No real updates today, just some updated daily pics. Not really having to do anything with this girl but feed her and let her dry out, then repeat. Day 81 - Nothing really new today, just letting her chug along. She will probably need some water in another day or so. Day 82 - Everything’s looking good still but just realized that she might be foxtailing just a bit. Not really a worry for me but thinking it’s from the stress of when I snapped her main branch early on in growth. It seems to only be on a couple buds towards the top but going to keep an eye on her trichs and probably start flushing her tomorrow. Day 83 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. The way she’s looking, this will probably be the last feeding of nutes before flushing. Still quite a bit of clear trichs but quite a bit of milky in theee as well so thinking she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and she’s doing good. Really y’all and lengthy plant so trying not to take her out and move her too much anymore. Thinking she’s down to a couple weeks now so next feeding will be pH’d water only.

the race continues. at the moment both are still on a par. a good 5 cm in growth. there is currently a lot of sunshine and really good temperatures. apart from that, not much has happened yet.

Semillas en agua de osmosis 46 horas , luego  entre servilletas unas 29 horas más y al sustrato, un sustrato light-Mix .  Segundo fué enterrar las semillas en el sustrato con precaución y ponerlo todo bajo unos fluorescentes de 150W 4000K 18/06h. Antes de pasarlas a exterior me gusta tenerlas unos dias en interior, no muchos , entre 15-20 dias. Me gusta que salgan a ver el mundo ya con cierta madurez.

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 23.4.25: I hope everyone had a great 420! Fastbuds Mystery seed #1 is doing well, she has stayed bushier relative to the RQS Northern Lights, also there has not been so much growth. The bud sites are developing well and have tight internodal spacing. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time. I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. esta semana hay ido mejor aun con unos saltamontes por ahi q habian aparecido y pulgones que ya soluciones facilmente con bag x5 y bang x3 de cannaboom la temperatura del tiempo aun gace calor y el frio no llega

Semana 6 (7-13 de mayo)(días 36 - 42) Contentos con como va la cosa, retiramos alguna hoja tocada y poco mas. 😊😊 11/5/2020 El ultimo riego fue bastante heavy y podemos ver como las puntas muestran signos de sobrefertilicacion ,por tanto este riego va a ser más suave. Teniendo en cuenta que sufrimos el problema de quedarnos sin fertilizantes y que nuestro proovedor debido a la situación actual del covid tiene el asunto complicado tocaremos con lo que tenemos. Hoy toca riego en el que usamos 40l ñara 22 plantas. Los riegos se realizan en garrafas de 10l por lo que los valores varían en función de las plantas. (Valores • l) • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 5 94 EC: 1.21 T h2O: 18,5°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2ml Final solution PH: 5 84 EC: 1.00 T h2O: 18°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2 Final Solution PH: 5 81 EC: 1.18 T h2O: 17,3°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 6 EC: 1.44 T h2O: 17,2°C Para algunas variedades como la Bubba y la Barney Kid será su último riego con fertilizantes, a partir de ahora haremos riegos com flush hasta el momento de corte para que no queden restos en nuestras flores en el momento final. Al resto sin embargo les quedará alrededor de 3/4 semanas por lo menos. Esto sigue avanzando y se siguen formando nuevas flores pero esperemos que esto no tarde mucho en engordar, porque a pesar de que se que son de floración larga me da la sensación de que podrían estar mejor, no se si debido al cambio de nutrientes y de que no estoy cubriendo todas las necesidades que tienen. A pesar de todos tenemos unas Orange sherbert que pintan increíbles, una berry mint potente, dos chocolate mint OG que dan ganas de comérsela... Por comentar que ayer dejo de funcionarios uno de los focos 😔 tras echarle un ojo y hacer unas pruebas comprobamos que el fallo era del cable y ya esta solucionando 😁😁 Estoy disfrutando mucho con este cultivo y aprendiendo de los fallos, sólo viendo como van y con las cosas que he aprendido no veo el momento de comenzar con el siguiente cultivo, pero paso a paso 🤗 Por cierto estos últimos días la temperatura a bajado bastante por el mal tiempo lo que nos ha venido genial para estabilizar la temperatura en unos 25/26°C en ON y 22/23°C en OFF. Estos días atrás rondaba más los 28/29°C llegando en algún momento a 30. Un poco de frescura para el huerto. Y por último, pero no menos importante. Mi pareja, a la que tanto quiero, me va a dejar su móvil para sacar fotos. La diferencia es abismal por lo que intentaremos mejorar la cantidad de nuestro contenido para el bien de todos 😁😁

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Thats our 2nd week in veg mode. the ladies look great und are looking forward for a bigger pot
