BOOMING. Have had an unusual amount of thrips and noticed a few Katydid nymphs on Tuesday (7/22), so I hit everything with 1.5tsp Neem Oil and 1 tsp of Dr Brommers soap in a 1 qt sprayer. I also decided to do my only planned dusting of Diatomaceous Earth. Executed that on Wednesday, 7/23, and also top dressed with DE to attack larvae. Thursday 7/24 Mixed up first batch of flowering top dressing. I put it into a 55 gal garbage can and watered it to get the cooking process started. Will only let it go for a week or so and then will top dress the girls.

Week 3 has been a breeze. Retied the plant to spread it out alot. I am going to veg for 6-8 more weeks and transplant into a 25 gallon pot to give the roots some room for flower.

germinated about a month ago and have grown less than i'd like, probably due to odd weather. had some colder periods and a summer that felt more like april in my area. Have only now begun to fertilize properly after some advice from my brother. This is my very first grow and i'd highly welcome some good tipps for how to better my growing.

Shes really the slowest of my 3 girls. Defoliated and removed some bud sites on the lower branches.

Week 3ish Update Two weeks have passed since my last update, and I have to say—it’s been an interesting ride. We’re now in week three for both the OG Kush and Gorilla Skittles plants, and there’s already a noticeable difference between the two. I’m not entirely sure if it’s due to the fact that OG Kush is an indica strain and Gorilla Skittles is a hybrid sativa, or if the OG Kush has been a bit stunted in its growth. Either way, both are holding up fairly well. Feeling like the OG Kush needed a bit of encouragement, I decided to top it and follow up with some low-stress training (LST). Growth is decent, but for being nearly three weeks in, it’s still on the smaller side. I’m curious to see how it responds in the next week or two. Gorilla Skittles, on the other hand, looks fantastic. It’s also at the beginning of week three, and I’ve applied some LST without topping it—I want to see how it performs naturally with minimal intervention. Both plants experienced a bit of nutrient burn or light burn or something lol early on, but after adjusting the pH of the water, all new growth looks healthy and vibrant. Thankfully, the issue didn’t spread. I'm growing organically using a mix of bush doctors coco coir and fox farms ocean forest so just watering only when dry, and supplementing with Cal-Mag as needed. In addition to these two, I now have three younger plants that all sprouted about 10 days ago (on the 15th and 16th of this month). Moon Beam: This strain came from a cracked seed I received from Multiverse Beans. They told me to go ahead and plant it, and so far, it's doing great. I’m really excited to see how this one turns out. AK: This one is a bit smaller—similar in size and growth pattern to the OG Kush. I'm thinking the genetics play a role here, possibly an indica-dominant strain. Curious to see its development. Super Lemon Haze: Also looking strong and healthy. All three of these new additions are already showing faster growth compared to OG Kush at the same age. I’ve been carefully monitoring VPD, pH levels, and watching for pests like fungus gnats and fruit flies. I’m using sticky traps, mosquito bits, and neem oil to keep things under control, which has been effective so far. This being my first grow, I’ve learned a ton already from working with the older plants—OG Kush and Gorilla Skittles—and I’m now applying those lessons to the newer ones. I’ll admit, having five plants with different genetics might be a bit ambitious for a beginner, but I’d rather learn through hands-on trial and error than just watching videos. Again I don’t know what I’m doing however Right now, I’m feeling excited and proud. Everything is looking good—better than I expected, honestly. I can’t wait to share more updates in the coming weeks as these plants continue to develop.

Just couldn't resist to give a go 😁🤤 Week 0 Germination Jan 25-Feb 1 Germination in propagator. beans landed directly in substrate within 5 min after opening the package. Started believing that all methods like glass water, paper towel etc. are really useful if seeds are old, stored incorrectly or coming from shady seedbank. If seeds are from trusted source with strong genetics wouldn't be bother trying anything else than planting your beans directly to substrate. So far 100% success This time both baby girls started showing their heads within 2 days after planting seeds. Jan 25 Seeds planted. Propagator at 20 degrees and 90% humidity. Jan 27 Girls popped through the soil. Warm welcome to Kitana and Aphrodite 😍 Jan 28-30 Both babies growing at the same pace. Jan 31 Time to move from this baby size propagator to a better and more comfortable place. Feb 1 End of germination week. All went painlessly and successfully. I am super excited for whats to come 😁 Hopefully this will be another easy and successful ride. No hermi flowers from these two clones from a hermi.This grow has been hard to keep contained ive been bending branches for 4 weeks and it sill stretches 4to 6 inches every few days i am out of space under the lights its been a jack n been stalk grow

Day 106 16/08/24 Friday Big feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Finally flipped her!! Excuse my mess of a Scrog it's first time. I'm cutting away squares to allow the new growth this week to pass through, the net will only be used them as support to allow her to fully express her flowers 💚 Day 107 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only.
