Week 4 (April 19th-25th) This week the plant had 4 fan leaves coming out from the main stem. The blade count went up by 2 (from 3 blades to 5). The plant was very healthy and strong.

The Ztrawberriez girls have absolutely exploded this week, super happy with their early progress.💚 All three seedlings are off to a flying start, stretching up with strength and vigor. No issues so far, they’ve handled the environment like champs and are developing beautifully. Looking lush, green, and full of promise – can’t wait to see how they take off in the next phase! 🌱✨

Day 71 🌤️☀️🌤️🌥️ 13-23 degrees, humidity 53-78%. I start into the 11th week with an intense check of the trichomes. Tropicana started to produce amber and blue trichomes, next to purple and pink. The purple get’s darker and the appearance of the flowers change to a beautiful bouquet of fragrant colours. Day 72 ☁️🌧️☁️⛈️ 15-24 degrees, humidity 69-84%. Today my plants needed to be canopied again because of strong rainfall. I‘m glad that I have this opportunity while they continue standing outside and ripening. I take some fotos of Tropicana and her trichomes, gave her one liter of pure rainwater and let her wait for the next sunny days. And wait, and wait probably several more days. Day 73 - End of spring, beginning of summer! 🤓 🌧️☁️🌧️☁️17-25 degrees, humidity is 70-90%. Got to have an eye on the flowers, they are dry but the humidity is too high for doing nothing. Today in the evening I took a few leafs of my plants for a relax tee. A nightingale is singing next to our balcony. Love it! Day 74 🌧️🌧️☁️🌧️ 19-24 degrees, humidity is 75-90%. Tropicana is smelling wonderfully. It‘s like a bouquet of all her colors. My nose is in love! Day 75 ⛅️🌧️☁️⛈️ 13-19 degrees, humidity is 80-94 %. Waiting for sunshine. I decided after reading about, to flush the potting soil twice. Once I did today with 10 liter water and a lot of drainage wich was quit clear at he end. A second time I will do it in about a week then maybe stop watering her. Day 76 🌤️⛅️☁️🌥️ 12-24 degrees, humidity is between 60 and 80. Today Tropicana enjoys her life on our balcony. She looks fine after flushing yesterday early morning. I‘m looking once per day on three flowers at the same point if there‘s fresh growth, and there is. Found a Terpmonster this morning. Wake and bake. Psychedelic Sunday! Night 77 🌤️☀️🌤️☀️ 15-26 degrees and the humidity is 55-73%. I brought Tropicana inside to take some pictures with a flashlight. It’s not so easy to catch the real tropical colors, nearly this fotos give an idea. She is smelling very intensive. Very fruity floral fragrance stayed for hours in the flat. I really need to think where do dry our weed. Because of different reasons I won‘t do it in the flat. So I think about the basement or maybe on the balcony depending on humidity and weather forecast.

Day 22: Well we made it to the beginning of week 4! Who would of thunk! So we are starting week 4 on a good foot. No issues at this time and growing really well. Still such a squat plant. The nodes spacing is only like a half inch apart. WTH 🤷‍♂️🏻 Other than that the PH in my reservoir is dropping, usually it rises a bit everyday. I will have to remedy that before my midday feeding. I mean it was at 5.85-5.9PH so not out of whack but I was hoping for a drift of 5.9-61ish before I had to do a top off or change of the solution. Did some more light LST and leaf tucking last night before bed and will probably have to do more this afternoon. Day 23: River and Clara are growing really fast now. However I did notice the darkening of some of the new growth tips and a potential N burn. I believe this to be from a faulty PH tester I bought from nutetools dot com. Junk! So back to my old cheap meter. I will have to empty and clean out my reservoir today and make some more sauce for my plants so that I know it is PH’d correctly. What a pain in the ass. I am going to have a chat with them this afternoon for perhaps a replacement. Other than that onward and upward. Day 24: Not a whole lot to say today. Filled the reservoir yesterday. Sat and tried to figure out how to LST these super squat plants. I am thinking a couple haircuts are in order today. I think this will be beneficial to the little bud site that are partiallly blocked, but also for me to see what the structure looks like to get a better idea what I am working with 🤪 I am also thinking of upping my watering schedule to 4 times a day during lights on. I feel they are starting to drink a lot more and are probably just about to go into flowering mode. Day 24 Update: So I took the plunge and did some major defoliation and retied up all the LST work I did previously. They look so pissed off at me now… lmao. 🤬 You can see the before pics in my previous post from this morning. Also posting pics of how tiny my node spacing is.. Day 25 06/25/2021 - Today should be pretty hands off. Just letting them do their thing after the harsh treatment they got from me yesterday. (Defoliation and LST). I’m assuming they will need a couple days to recover, but, I will say they do look a bit less pissed off today than yesterday. Still no signs of sex. the tops are a nice bright green and the leaves are starting to deform like it really wants to flower. Hopefully, I didn’t screw it up by defoliating. The wait for flower continues. Day 26: These plants have bounced back awesomely after my heavy handed defoliation and LST. Putting on an inch a day and growing faster by the minute. They must have loved my nutrient ratio last feeding. I am going to do the same mix again today to refill the reservoir. Speaking of reservoir and watering… I think I am watering a bit munch per feeding as I am going through 5-6 gallons every 2-3 days for two plants. So I think today I am going to finally go to a 4 feed per day schedule and drop the time from 1min 10secs to 50secs or so. They should realistically only be getting a gallon a day a piece and still get good runoff to avoid any salt buildup. Have a 4inch and 6inch stretch a scrog nets ordered as well. Other than all that I think this first grow is going great so far! Day 27: Another day of mostly hands off and just watching the stretch. If my scrog nets come today I will hang the first one and that is about it today. Last night however, I did find a few pistils on Clara the smaller of the two and the no longer late bloomer. I also got my new Milwaukee MW804 4in1 ph/ec/tds/temp pen. Excited to have a reliable testing tool. One more grow day in the books! Cheers! Day 28: Well last day of week four. I was really hoping it would have started flowering by now, but we will hope for week 5. I got my scrog nets late yesterday afternoon and I put the first 4” net up. As you can probably see by the pics I really have no clue what I am doing. Also these plants are so so squat and compact I almost wish I had a 2” net. But, I think they are in stretch mode so we will see how that might effect my ability to a rig these a bit better. My plans for today are to do a quick clean and rinse of the reservoir and refill with a new batch of mutes I mixed up in the middle of the night last night. Then just let them grow I suppose. Not much else for me to do. 🤷‍♂️🏻Now on to week 5 tomorrow and continue to have a good grow. Cheers! 🥃

Tried this strain from a dispensary one time, was a very enjoyable daytime strain that I look forward to smoking again, will look to take clones to at some point during veg Durban Poison—The Legend Unmasked The name and origin of this invigorating strain lie in Durban, a coastal city in South Africa. The following table breaks down Durban Poison’s basic properties. Strain: Sativa. Aroma: Piney, Sweet, Citrusy. Effect: Energizing, Uplifting, Focusing. Typical THC Content 18%–20% Whether you need to tackle a large project, boost your mood, or channel your inner adventurer, Durban Poison is the way to go. It offers a powerful stimulating high with light relaxation to clear your mind. It won’t make you drowsy or sedated, so it’s perfect for daytime use. You should avoid it in the evenings unless you plan on pulling an all-nighter. Durban Poison has a moderate amount of THC but enough to color your day in vibrant colors. Still, the strain’s cannabinoids are only one piece of this lively puzzle. If you want Durban Poison to shine in its full glory, you should leverage its numerous and potent terpenes. Take note "peak terpene" is roughly 2 weeks prior to "peak THC" which we use as a guideline for traditional harvest. Terpenes in Durban Poison Each Cannabis strain—and every other plant—produces aromatic hydrocarbons that give it a distinct aroma and flavor profile. Terpenes can’t get you high, but Cannabis-derived ones help cannabinoids (THC and CBD) penetrate the blood-brain barrier more easily so they can bind to your endocannabinoid receptors (primarily CB1). The interplay between the two compounds is called the entourage effect, and it causes a stronger, more accentuated buzz than cannabinoids can induce alone. Only a tiny portion of all Cannabis terpenes have been researched, but the results are fascinating. Each terpene enriches your experience differently, and Durban Poison has an eclectic mix of these mighty compounds. Terpinolene Durban Poison is one of the few strains where terpinolene is a dominant terpene. Cannabis typically produces it in lower quantities, so it usually plays a supporting role. Herbaceous and floral terpinolene offers relaxation and clarity, so it’s partially responsible for the strain’s serene nature. Myrcene Myrcene has always been synonymous with sedation and sleepiness, so finding it in such an invigorating strain might seem strange. It makes more sense when you know that these effects occur if the terpene makes for over 0.5% of the plant’s total weight. This isn’t the case with Durban Poison, so myrcene is tamer than in other strains, adding subtle stress-relief properties. Pinene Alpha and beta-pinene are among the main terpenes in Cannabis, the former being more common. Besides giving Durban Poison refreshing undertones, pinene isomers offer focus and mental clarity, which is what the strain is all about. Limonene Omnipresent in the citrus family, limonene gives plants a sweet-citrusy aroma. When you take a whiff of Durban Poison, you can feel its notes underneath the dominant pine scent. As for effects, limonene plays an antagonist to myrcene and is the embodiment of sativa strains. It increases your energy and lifts your spirits to pump you up for the day. Valencene Limonene’s lesser-known sibling, valencene was initially discovered in Valencia oranges. It’s sweeter than limonene and more representative of Durban Poison’s overall aroma. Valencene also has energizing cerebral effects, so its role is essential to the strain. Ocimene This is another secondary terpene that most strains—including Durban Poison—don’t have in abundance. Still, ocimene can be a potent stimulant, so its scarcity doesn’t make it any less important. New garden inspired by MiyaguiOkPolilla TORUS What Is The Heart’s Toroidal Field? The heart is the most powerful source of electromagnetic energy in the human body and the magnetic fields produced by the heart have been shown to be involved in energetic communication (also referred to as cardioelectromagnetic communication). Research done at HeartMath Institute (HMI) suggests that the heart’s electrical field is approximately 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity created in the brain and is an important carrier of information. More and more studies are finding that the heart may be as complex as the brain is- the heart actually sends more communication to the brain than the brain sends information to the heart! Our thoughts and emotions affect the heart’s magnetic field, which energetically affects those in our environment, whether we are conscious of it or not. The heart has approximately 40,000 neurons and has the ability to process, learn and remember. It has its own emotions and in the field of neuro-cardiology, researchers are learning more about the “intuitive” nature of the heart and how we can apply this information to the relationships we have with ourselves and with others all around us. From the inside, your heart emanates an extremely powerful toroidal energetic field and it has been scientifically measured to go out as far as 5 miles from your heart. This magnetic field is involved in energetic communication, a direct extension from your heart to everyone and everything. In my practice, I like to reference this field as a visual to depict and take in how we are all connected and one and also, individually, whole and complete. I find that once this connection is made, we can easily see how we matter and our choices count and how choosing to live in alignment with our selves can create a robust state of health and expansion- making the fundamentals more impactful, as we move into new moments knowing that we can intentionally empower our ecosystems, with the healing energies of presence-courage-appreciation-compassion, love, etc. which extends from us, by way of our heart, to the world and to each other. From the inside, your heart emanates an extremely powerful toroidal energetic field and it has been scientifically measured to go out as far as 5 miles from your heart. The heart’s magnetic field is the strongest rhythmic field produced by the human body. From HMI’s findings, research has shown that the timing between pulses of the heart’s magnetic field is modulated by different emotional states- these studies have also shown that the magnetic signals generated by the heart have the capacity to affect individuals around us. It is also important to note that the heart is not that only source that can emit this type of electromagnetic field- every atom emits the same torus field: people, trees, the earth, the sun, the universe! We can apply this knowledge and use it as an opportunity to go within, connect, quiet the mind, regulate the brain and tap into our heart’s center. What Does A State Of Coherence Look Like? According to the HMI Research Director Dr. Rollin McCraty, “Coherence is the state when the heart, mind and emotions are in energetic alignment and cooperation. It is a state that builds resilience.” When parasympathetic and sympathetic systems are out of sync because one is filled with emotions such as anger, anxiety or frustration, this produces an erratic rhythm or what can be referred to as an incoherent state. Positive emotions such as compassion and love generate a harmonious pattern in our heart’s rhythm, leading to coherence and greater emotional regulation. When these harmonious interactions exist among our bodies’ systems, this is referred to as physiological coherence. As this increases, so does the brain’s alpha activity, which in turn supports us. When we allow our conscious awareness to be in our heart center, we can begin to shift our perspective from what is to what can be and realize what is actually possible. When your torus field is healthy and spinning in all directions with no obstruction, this generate an infinite amount of energy, vitality and life force- creating inner balance and raising our vibration. Your torus field can also act as a form of energetic protection- operating as a “force field” that can shield and dispel any negativity. A simple visualization exercise can help you become more aware of your torus energy field. Imagine drawing energy upward from the ground (the Earth) through your feet down a central column. Imagine this bright light going up your entire center from your feet and out through the crown of your head. Then, imagine something like a water fountain where this light is pouring out of the crown of your head and all around you, going back down to the Earth and then up again through your feet again. Imagine this upward energy for a couple of minutes or until you feel comfortable. Do you see, sense or feel the energy pouring out around you? Let Your Heartbeat Be Your Reminder As we move forward each day, remember that you can always take a moment to place your hands over your heart to recenter, reassure and empower yourself. Here, you can feel your heartbeat, open up and shift accordingly. This is a new era, where we can write and live a collective, new story- much like a portal in time, where light can be blinding, healing, eye opening, and freeing all at once- and the earth seems to be rearranging itself, as we continue to awaken and reorient- called to remember who, what and where we truly are. Rediscovering the power that has been within, not outside of, ourselves all along. The idea that power, or even freedom, lies outside of the self is just an illusion that we, as a collective, have made into our reality. Just. Opt. Out.

Greeting of the day! First of all, thanks to everybody who is engaging and interacting with my diary and myself. I truly enjoy and appreciate you all! The time laps of the first LST is relevant to week 4, but decided to put it here as well for the contrast. For the last week, i have increased watering volumes and put them on regular schedule, and i see pretty massive grow. Jumped from 15 to 35cm in height and thats after the first LST. I am not feeding the girls anything but water with regulated PH. Seems that the soil is rich enough to keep them fed. Today (day 33), ive decided to perform another LST, more radical than the first one. The main stems started to shoot up and it seems that the rest of the body is falling behind in growth, so i bended and twisted around the main columns of 2/3 girls. Is seems that they have reacted extremely positively. I see immediate development of secondary columns (check out the photo right after lst and in 4 hours) Also, I’ve defoliated, well… removed one leaf that I was not able to tuck anywhere. P.S. Oh! got the girls a new fan, specially designed for grow tents. They are happy and so am I. The smell is so nice, if i leave the tent open it fills the room almost immediately. Thanks for stopping by and reading, have a great day and good luck! Will drop updates on the go.

**Encontrarás la traducción a español al final de la descripción** From/Desde: 19/04/19 || To/Hasta: 25/04/19 From day/Desde día: 57 || To day/Hasta día: 63 You can find the Gorillas Diary here (Texts are the same this week): ** Podéis encontrar el diario de las Gorilla aquí (Los textos son iguales esta semana):** https://growdiaries.com/diaries/25675-makingmoney-with-gorilla-mm-vs-gorilla -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- 1 - Before defoliation 2 - Defoliation 3 - After defoliation -----WEEK SUMMARY----- (Following text was translated with tools and reviewed, sorry for mistakes, misspellings or nosense things) As you can see I've done a defoliation this week. Yes, I have really gone over the top, I have removed many more leaves than I had, and the tails of the plants has not come to join at all due to the failed defoliation. Being the first defoliation I do, I did not really know what I was doing and I went crazy. Now that it has been several weeks since I made this defoliation, I realize that I should not have removed the leaves from the nodes of the tails, because they have stopped growing and have not joined with their superior parts. Anyway, the plants are beautiful today and although they could be much better I feel very happy with them. I know I've made 2 fatal mistakes in this grow - The first has been the massive defoliation badly done, defoliation yes, but with head ... do not follow my example. - The second failure that I see today, is that I did not leave enough growth time (18/6) after having made the last pruning and that has made the tails have been a length much less than what would have been desired, I think that 2 more weeks of growth would have been perfect. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 20/04/19 - 1,250 ml with Sensizym, Silica, Rhino Sk, Bud Ignitor, Big Bud, Bud Candy & Bud Factor-x @ PH6.4 & 1.2 E.C. 23/04/19 - 1,250 ml with All week nutrients - (Silica, Sensizym & Bud Ignitor) @ PH6.5 & 1.5 E.C.

Ooooh boy, what an eventful beginning to week 14! I took this beast out of the tent for a reservoir change and noticed that she had a few branches hanging below the canopy in the middle of the plant that had a lot of heat damage. 😩 So that haircut she needed turned into a bit of an amputation... I've never dealt with heat damage before, so I don't know what it does to the quality of the bud, but what I DID know was that if I didn't change something, it certainly wasn't going to get any better. I removed 90% of the heat damaged branches, leaving only the branches that had mild damage to the leaves only. Looking at her, she doesn't look like she's missing much of anything, but what she gained was some more space to breathe and to feel the breeze. 😊 If anyone has dealt with heat damage in the past, I'd love to know what you did about it. Did you keep the buds? Ditch em? Are they safe to smoke? Do you think I did the right thing? Every grow throws me so much more to learn about and so many more opportunities for hands on experience dealing with things that I've only ever read about. It's the freaking tits! ✌️💜🌱

Day 1 flower lights on 100% 640w draw. Felt amazing inside right when I unzipped the tent, I wanted to chill in the tropical climate. I will still continue to add humic, organic booster, to water. Now along with 1/2 tbsp of soluble PK (bluesky organics FLOWER2). This will bring my natural ph to 6.5ish bringing it down without the need for "ph down" in solution. I will try to get into Dr. Thunder today and remove some more foliage of what I couldn't reach last night. day5 video, showing off custom spectrum. CW, NW, R on 100%, UVA and IR off. IR will make things stretch more, UVA is off because no trics yet. I added a lot of 7month old coffee grounds I've been saving for N boost, then finding out I had 17-0-0 blood meal. I also started to add very little soluble PK into 5 gal along with normal watering ingredients, like always. I am verry happy with things are until day 19-21 where defoliation again.

Had a great run with this grow. I learned ALOT about DWC, growing and myself. I think it would have been infinetly more successful if I would have just stuck to the feeding chart, and stopped "fixing things till they broke", but a great learning lesson and I am excited for my next grow.
