Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. So please prepare to enjoy some of Mr Kellys finest The first song is a brand new one called Sleep Australia Sleep in which he evokes many emotions and anger with his poignant ords and the haunting images of destruction of our beautiful country thru both natural and man made disasters such as the recent horrific bushfires and floods, plus also the damage to our ecosystem from pollution, rubbish and envionmental terrorism performed in the name of industry ( mining, oil drilling coal power stations etc etc This song really touched a nerve in me being a true blue Aussie and passionate Animal lover so I urge you all to actually watch the video and listen to the song. this is the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hY1w_c7nO4 the second song is on a much lighter note & is called "Dumb things " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR-eTR3Dcps which apparently was quite popular in the US at the time of it's first release. It's been another easy week in the Fastbuds tent. I've spent most my energy preparing my outdoor grow space for a wild summer. At this point, there's not much I can do except water and watch my plants grow. I've added videos of other plants in relations to the mimosa cake just for visual aid. I also added a photo of my cheese auto.. it's still drying! With the Mimosa cake auto I've been taking fan leaves off slowly for weeks now. This is a very busy plant. She is also going to run later than I expected. She's on day 76 and I suspect 95 to 100 days to finish time. I'll have to keel feeding her bloom nutes for the next few weeks; her 3 gallon bucket ran out of nutrients already. Feeding schedule: water, feed, water, feed Step 1- I'll take an aeration stone and use it to remove the chlorine residual in the water... this only takes 8 - 12 hours depending on water temperature. (I'm a water treatment process operator, I have checked several times in the past with my own Cl2 meters). Step 2 - add Calmag Step 3- add bloom nutes Final step - pH the water accordingly (very important that this is final step) A TDS residual of 500 ppm equals roughly 1 E.C. (I just double it)

The main Stem snaped on the QO whilst doing some LST but it seems to be healing quite well after I attached it back with some tape. I can already see pistils shooting out on both of the plants especially on the Quick One.

16 day perfect slow dry. Starting cure. You can smell the purple in this strain. Will update after a short cure and smoke test and getting an accurate smell description. 40 grams total of dry weight nice sized buds and structure. Super natural and pretty looking.

Blumats went out for some odd reason. Will fix it tomorrow on my day off. Will hand water and give them tea then reset em all. Wont get to see the dirt as a true water only now but owelp. The garlic storms are Some stretchy bi*tches lol. The one hit the light and the other ain't far off.

8/21/24 gave her some cal mag from the uprising foundation. 5 ml total for the 5 gal pot. 3 tsp of grow and 2 tsp of bloom. slowly transitioning from grow to bloom over the course of 4 weeks. did some light defoliation and some lollipopping. shes not too bushy in the sense of leafy. her fan leaves have super long petioles. 8/26 she's grown four inches so far this week. about an inch a day. wild.

Chugging along. Have had some moisture issues in the tent- pooling water on the floor. Added another fan to keep things moving plus reduced the temp at which the exhaust fan blows one degree. That seemed to help. I’m a little worried that the buds seem so small this late in the game. I’ll officially ask a question about this later, but I have been having a lot of condensation inside my tent. That’s because it is in a cold part of my house. And though I do have two fans running and the temp is set low, the condensation is running down my walls and under my floor tray. Not a huge issue except I tried wiping down the walls today and bent a pretty good bud stalk. Not sure if it will keep growing or if it will be an early sacrifice. But, bummer all the same. Also, I figured out that I was a week off. So, just starting week 8.

5/27/22: - Today makes 4 weeks since sprouting! 5/30/22: - Transplanted today into an earthbox with 14ft Build a Soil 3.0 Recipe. Have a light watering as well. Added Mykos to the transplant hole. 5/31/22: - did some training to bend branches to get lower nodes some light and to level out canopy before adding trellis net. 6/1/22: - Gave a foliar spray today with Build A Soil Quillaja Wetting agent, Horticultural Aloe and Horticultural Coconut - Top dressed with silica, craft blend, worm castings and kashi blend. All from build a soil 6/2/22: - filled up the earthbox resovoir for the first time today. - increased light to 90% ppfd around 500ish

D64 Saw the plants lower growth drooping so gave 4Ls during peak sun. D65 Defoliated the top growth nodes extensively, to allow the lower canopy to catch up. Cleared up lower canopy too and found some inhabitants🐝 D69 10

Day 71! Moving along!! Day 72! Gonna start heavy defoliation at day 21 of flowering Day 73! Added some microbes for better uptake. The buds on this is going to be fire 🔥 🙏🏼😅 Day 74! There’s another one In the back same size as the big one. Ps- sorry for the crappy picture. I was in a rush ... Day 77! This concludes this week lmao
