Week 13 | Days 85–91: September 21 – September 27 I’m leaving for vacation soon and time is running out, so starting last week I decided to change the light schedule from 20/4 to 24/0, as I’d heard it might speed up ripening. On Day 87, I harvested the nine top colas, leaving the torso - lower buds on the plant for another week to ripen further. Attached are some photos taken just before the harvest. Seeing that monster outside the tiny tent, leaning in every possible direction, I’m still amazed by what’s possible under a 54W LED with the help of a self-watering base.

Their roots were strong, white, and vibrant, ready to stretch and expand. This little orange sherbet was topped on day 10 and is growing well. I ran out of calimagic due to a shipping issue. I was hoping that tap water would give them enough cal mag but the plants started showing rusty spots symptoms of calcium deficiency. The only cal mag that I could find locally is Gringo Rasta from fox farm. I gave her a dose of it but it is too early to tell if it is going to work. I am skeptical about any organics in my system from past experiences but the pH is holding steady after a couple days so hopefully it will work out. Other than that they are still getting 24 hour light and I am starting to think that I might have to figure out a way to spread the plants further apart. A couple of them are getting pretty big.

I kno she can go at least another week but I have 6 month inspection coming up so I begin to flush her and she’s 14 weeks old She’s so gaining weight like she’s binge eating The branches can barely stand up ima need a. Bamboo stick I’m excited about harvesting her

End of Week 11 (Fourth week of flower) The ladies are frosting up more and more by the day and there are trichomes everywhere! I Added about 8g per plant of GHF BioBloom and a cup of worm castings a small final feed to make sure the ladies have what they need to grow big dense buds. And increased the CO2 to 1400ppm and in 2 weeks time I will cut the CO2. The main top-sites are bulking up more and I am very happy with the inter-nodal spacing as well as the bud formation. Trying to keep the training to a bare minimum and ONLY removing fan leaves that are blocking bud sites. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

She is starting to swell up and bud growth is at a good pace right now.... I'm really hoping for big things and some dark colors.. Thank you again to divine seeds for throwing this contest together.. Hello, fin de la semaine 9, floraison semaine 3. Les plantes se portent plutôt bien, même si j’ai pu constater sur une plante en particulier une coloration tirant un peu sur le jaune léger,, mais dans l’ensemble, je pense qu’elles sont plutôt en bonne santé. Nous sommes aussi au jour 21 de la floraison, j’ai donc effectué une dernière défoliation je pense. Et un bon arrosage pour bien enrichir la terre pour qu’elles récupèrent correctement de leur défoliation. Voilà c’est a peu près tout pour cette semaine.. à la semaine prochaine Happy grow...😎

I am always striving to produce the best possible buds, and I believe that starting with quality genetics is key. I have high hopes for this round and I am confident that Fast Buds Genetics will not let me down. As a passionate grower, I put all of my love and attention into my Girls, and I truly believe that this shines through in the quality of my medicine. To begin with, I didn't want to do anything too fancy, so I decided to start with a seed in a glass of water. It's a simple and effective way to get your seed going, and it's always worked well for me in the past. After just 28 hours, my little seed had sprouted and was ready to be moved into a soil plug. But, after a day or so, I wasn't quite happy with the way things were going, so I decided to transfer her into direct soil. Now, I know some people might say that this is a risky move, but I believe that sometimes you just have to follow your instincts. I put my heart and soul into growing my plants, and I wanted to give this little seedling the best possible chance to thrive. To give her an extra boost, I applied Aptus Holand Mycor Mix to the soil. The Durban Poison crew is looking robust as we hit week 19 of the grow! The plants continue to thrive in their vegetative stage, filling out their space under the netting with healthy, vibrant growth. Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Consistent IPM remains a priority to keep the garden healthy. By utilizing companion plants like African marigolds and strawberries strategically placed around the grow bags, we are successfully deterring pests naturally. The Marigolds: This year, the yellow marigold has truly stood out, growing even taller than the surrounding orange varieties, making it the tallest in the collection. The Plants: The crew is holding steady. Plant 1 and Plant 6 are showing great development, benefiting from the ongoing low-stress training and the support of the custom netting setup. It has been a productive season so far, and I’m looking forward to the next phase of development as we continue to nurture these plants to their full potential.
