Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

At day 35 and they have begun to flower. I cut back the amount of nutrients I was using to help with the tip burn. So far so good!

Week 10 - - - - - OMG she got frosty!!!!!!!!!!!!! She smells so beautiful! So Citrus! So Lime!! 😂 😍 This week I have added a couple of grams of 20-20-20 fertiliser to her water. For a few weeks now I've been loosing a lot of lower leaves. They turn yellow and fall off. I did send the growcaps rep a pm a couple of weeks ago now asking about the active length of growcaps but it's gone unanswered..... so I took things into my own hands. She seemed to like the boost in nutrients with the amount of frost on her and not dropping any leaves. I do think the growcaps worked very very well at the start but I think they need to make them last a few weeks longer.

High GD community, Week 6, Wonder pie doing fine. She keeps her tempo steady, not really fast, but she keeps developing. Some of the side branches starting to take form and first lining is a fact. Ive removed 9 leafs, so te center gets more open for the small branches trying to come up. I think i should cut the internodes that are up and down, but i only cutted the one underneath. If anyone is convinced its better to get rid of the upperone 2, please comment. I do thinl it might cause problems in a few weeks, bcs it will grow up instead of out to the sides, so, hormone regulation will change, slow down the outgrowing buds and extra pump up these internodes. Enough rambling about that, lets talk about the plant intirely, bit by bit she starts to look like something i have in mind. 💦👨‍🔬 Just spraying ph 6.2water and 1 feeding this week. 3 waterings this week, 1 with nuts. looking really good now. i removed some of the larger fan leaves at the top and trimmed the bottom to tidy up :) still loads of white hairs, a few have turned brown but not too many.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. 24/03 watered AGAIN after 2 days with 1.5L 5.9 PH 1.5 EC, 5ml/L of Terra Bloom. So far im really happy with plagron. Just one bottle for grow and one for bloom and the plants look healthy and show no signs of deficencies. really happy with the product. Moreso than biobizz, where i used Grow, bloom, calmag, activera and topmax and still fought deficencies here and there. I also am conflicted about the trellis net. I like what it does but i think my tent is too full with plants or too small to really enjoy it growing-wise. I cant move the plants and its hard to reach them during watering. So i removed it again. its an on/off relationship with us :D I also did some more defoliation, PROMISE ITS THE LAST TIME. i took out the plants of the tent for it to better reach the insides of them and made some nice videos of their progress so far. ALSO: Tent smells really good and overwhelming when i open it! sadly, it escapes pretty fast so ill put "normal" smell on here. but its decent!
