3.23.25 Fastbuds LSD-25 auto #1 Germination 1st week Only watering with spring water. Going to be using foop nutrients with Humboldts secret cal/ mag and nectar for the gods ph up and down! Here we go!

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D49 (12/04/2021): I bought Gaia Green power bloom 2-8-4 and top dressed the plants with 2 tbs. / gallon of medium. After showing deficiency, I felt that my plants needed more then just hen manure. I also bought shrimp compost to make proper compost tea. D54 (17/04/2021): I made a compost tea with shrimp compost, sea weed extract and phytoplankton soil enhancer. I continue to defoliate and remove leaves randomly when leaves are blocking light to bud site. Glue Gelato is amazing!😍 She's starting to bulk and her pistils are getting longer. She's also starting to have some trichomes. I'm expecting the smell to ramp up this week 👌 Banana Kush has stretch a lot and she is as tall as Glue Gelato but less bushy. Gelato is really smaller so I lifted the pot with wood block so she can get more light. It's been only few days and I can already see that she appreciate receiving more light 👍 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-26C ; during the night: 19-20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 48-50% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. This week, I almost gave water everyday.

Overall very happy with this plant grow. She was by far the hungriest of the four plants in this grow, but she still developed nicely, loads of sticky sweet smelling buds. Will update in 2 weeks, after the first smoke. Update! Smoked the first buds from this harvest, the smoke was smooth, light berry/fruit taste, it will get stronger as they cure in their jars. Overall, I am happy with the plant, the bud product and quality. She's not a super heavy indica, but she can still pack a punch!

2020-07-24 (Day 129) This girl and her GSG sister have cow manure mixed in and this is the first week I’ve added nutes. Leaves weren’t yellowing but I felt that overall the plants were pale throughout, especially compared to her clone. From here on out I’m more or less letting her do her thing. I’ll likely have to add supports once she starts bulking up with flowers. I’ll also have to move her and her GSG sister in my yard once flowering initiates as the sun will be blocked more by my hedges come that time. It’s been sunny and warm with little rain, so far knock on wood an amazing summer for growing outdoor. Stay tuned, flowering is just around the corner!

Day 101, 12th of November 2020: All good. Poor girl too many buds lol some buds are bending too heavy for her haha.... Well, day 102 now so 3 days more and the 7th week starts. Harvest comes very soon I think in 10 days but may be earlier a bit trying to extend till the 8th week of flowering but she seeems to be ready but still giving some more time for sure ;)

I freaking love this plant. She's got dense buds already but she's throwing out pistils like no tomorrow. I'm curious to see how much bigger she's going to get in the next few weeks. Only a little over halfway done. She's already having trouble staying up right. I'm having to balance branches on other branches and using the ratchet hangers to keep the mains upright

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

Beginning of week.. These girls are not looking too bad.. I believe the leaves are not spreading much of those issues anymore.. The medium is still spittin out acidic runoff tho.. The only thing I can think of is the roots from previous runs weren't completely removed.. The decomposing roots inside the medium may make the medium acidic af... But I still don't know 100%.. I read that in 1 forum but again.. Idk 100%.. *sigh.. I really hope I can complete this run with no major issues or hurting yields too much. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will somehow just fix itself lol.. Ugh.. But I am not giving up! I WILL fill this 2x4 tent with MASSIVE ETHOS COLAS! Gonna be topping soon.. As soon as the main stem is long enough to cut and still be able to leave some stem so that the top 2 branches don't spit. These 2 plants have very different branch sizes.. I believe its because of the light not being able to penetrate as much of the branches on the ETHOS Cookies due to the fan leaves being on such short stems. The Mandarin Cookies may take over more than half of the tent.. But that shouldn't be a major issue.. As long as both are getting great light penetration, I'll be happy.. Still not sure if I am gonna LST and ScrOG or just LST.. I really wanna ScrOG and try ir out. I just hope I do it right.. I think I may have it figured out.. Need a little more research! But the girls are doing good.. Temps are getting kinda high here and there.. But they don't seem to mind too much. I will be upping the FloraGro and keeping the Hydroguard in the mix, also.. If it can help with root issues in hydro, maybe it can help my issue too... It says it can turn decaying matter into food for the plants.. So I guess we shall see!... Later that night... So I fed late today and checked the runoff, as I always do.. It had been 3 days since I last watered/fed (flushed actually.. Then added 1L of nutes so she wouldn't be hungry)... *going in (each): - 3L @ 1000 PPM 6.4 pH *runoff: - Mandarin Cookies: 150 PPM 6.0 pH - ETHOS Cookies: 200 PPM 6.0 pH ... So the pH is possibly starting to balance back out! The runoff still did not contain this feeding or the last feeding when it comes to TDS in the runoff.. Unless these girls are drinking/eating it up like that! The roots at the drain holes are looking massive and healthy as can be! I can't imagine they are doing bad in there.. And they are growing quite well.. But I can't wait to get these girls going!!!.. Oh yeah.. I went ahead and topped them both.. Both have 6 nodes.. That is all.. Going to let these girls just start branching out and going to try and not mess with them much (if anything just tie some bramches down to help them all kinda even out.. A.k.a... LST lol) till it is time to lollipop and get ready for flower! Just feeding/watering and tucking leaves when I can so the new colas can start doing their magic! So excited!!! Next day... I found some Coca-Cola crates.. I'm gonna use them to raise the pot and saucers off the ground.. The saucer has been holding moisture underneath and creating a bit of a mildew-ey smell.. So now, I make sure I rinse the entire saucer.. Top and bottom.. With all the airflow in the tent, theybwill dry in 60 seconds no problem!.. But now the tops are 12 inches from the light.. The power is still at 25%.. And now the girls are getting around 300 - 350 μmols/m2/s or whatever it is lol.. Mid week.. Went ahead and fed her again today. I added the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) because it contains the most Potassium.. That is what most of these marks on the leaves are from, I believe.. The runoff pH came out at 5.8 and 5.7 today.. *sigh... I really need this to clear up.. Hmm.. Maybe FloraKleen??? I guess that's all I have left to try.. Flushing multiple gallons every day for 3 or 4 days wasn't enough.. It helped.. But damn, I think I need to pull out ths big guns to clear this up.. Gonna see what happens next watering (2 or 3 days) and see what the runoff is then.. May set it to go in at 6.5 or something.. Idk... Ugh.. I really wanna just try hydro lol.. I bet one plant in a 5 gallon bucket would do awesome in this tent with a ScrOG! Hmmmmm.. Lol... End of week.. Went ahead and lollipopped a little. Both plants.. Also tied some of the longer branches down some.. Once the higher up branches are a little longer, I can then get them all tied down and begin figuring out if I should ScroG.. All depends how this ETHOS Cookies does in the next week or so.. On to the next!...
