End of Week 5B, pics are chronological since the last update. Hard not to take daily pics these days. Zero issues this week. Flushed her good before the midweek feed with about 5 gallons ph to clear out any buildup. Buds are becoming rock hard and I also changed her to 13 dark hours daily. Introducing Overdrive the next feeding so expect some bloom blowup for the next update. Till next week.

Growth not looking good past 3 days😮‍💨 Any Tips? (Day 23) Did a lot of pruning today. Growth looks very good at NL (Day 25) Today i gave them 1 liter of Ph 6,5 Tapwater. Also did some light defoliation and LST. The smell is insane already ( Day 26) Ladys are overwatered should learn more about watering😮‍💨Special Thx to GreenConnectionSupport. I wrote them on Instagramm and they answer quick.💚(Day 27) Last day of week 4, ladys are beginning to Flower. Defoliate radical, so she puts energy into new Leaves. Gave them 800ml Ph 6.2 Water. ( Day 28)

03/13/2021 Side branches are developing nice, I may do a little more lst to help lower tops to catch up before flowering starts Ps. Couple videos uploaded Day #6 doing some bending, and broke a branch off so I dipped in rooting powder,threw it in some vermiculite soaked with Bonide Garden Rich Root & Grow 4-10-3 with (IBA) Lets see if she will root! Fingers crossed🙏

I have observed substantial growth in my babies, unfortunately, I will not be able to complete the intended 9 weeks of vegetation before transitioning to the flowering stage. This is due to an upcoming relocation to a more suitable location that offers ample space for strain cycling and the maintenance of mother plants for cloning purposes. I am eagerly anticipating the flowering phase, particularly for the Gelato 41 strain, which is already emitting a pleasant aroma.

D14 - The new #1 is looking way better than her predecessor, although she still has her seed helmet on. I've tried oh so carefully to remove it but no luck so far, and I'm afraid of using excessive force, so for now, it stays on. #2 is just trucking along, doing her thing. She is now 11 cm tall and 10 cm wide. I also removed her support as she is strong enough without it. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - Today, #1 popped out of her seed. Well, mostly as it is still stuck on one of the cotyledons. It's been over two weeks without proper watering, so the girls are getting a bit thirsty. The blumat digitals show around 115-120 mbar. I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - Not much to report as the girls are simply doing their thing. Yesterday, I gave each around 2 liters of the compost tea I started a couple of days ago. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. D20 - The last day in week two of veg. Nothing to report, really. The girls are getting bigger day by day, and both are looking healthy and well. The second girl already has purple leaf stems which I don't think is stress since she looks lush and vibrant otherwise. I guess it is her genes as this strain can turn purple. I have never grown any purple cannabis, so my fingers are crossed!

march 2: start of week 5 room temp is now 25celcius and plants no longer curl. veg got slowed down a lot finally they got healthy now march 7: changed water to lucas formula (0-8-16) also added 1ml/L H2o2 after 3 days again. to stop algae forming around the hoses and the rubber rings around the pipes.

Start of week 7 day 43. All nutrients have been stopped and 1 week of finale only. The girls are packing on some weight and filling out nicely. Buds are very dense.

Heeey! 👋 Another update! :D This week I made another transplant, this time from the drink cups to a small 3.5 liter pot and I also applied some more mycorrhizas to my babies! 😃 From both of them Pistachio seems to be the one who's developing faster and Matcha is trying to catch her sister. The plants ended with about 19500 lumens! Couldn't rise them more because of heat issues 😟 The only tricky part this week was when I decided to add a bit of growing nutrients to my plants so I ended up watering them a lot after the transplant and the results were quite shocking! I barely added 2ml of total nutrients per liter but the runoff water I got was around the 1400 ppm which all honestly scared me a lot! That's way too much for two young plants (and I believe some of the excess nutrients can be seen on Matcha) nonetheless they are still developing so I'll just continue with water for now till they start to lose color (the Light Mix I used should have enough 'food' for at least 2 weeks, so that's good I believe! Besides that everything went well. I'm using tap water for my humidifier and its sediments are being thrown into the air by it, but so far it seems my plants are doing well. During the last 4 days the plants developed a lot in their new pots so I'm quite happy for that! If things go well next week I'll be moving them to their final container! Thanks everyone for reading! It was very easy to grow as a super-strong nothing can hurt her for nut burs u need to do it way over so she starts to get burns well for my first DWC I love it buds are amazing even not experienced like me can grow her perfectly I can't wait to try and smoke here 😎😎🤩😘

Day 83 she’s looking beautiful and bulking so fast. The time is coming soon. I can’t wait. She is looking fabulous. Just keeps chugging along. She will begin the ice flushing process soon and she’s so damn heavy she’s being held up.

The girls are ready soon! Leaves of the Royal Gorilla are completely yellow, don't know why but I think it's because it's time to harvest. Take a look at the trichomes, I'm waiting for a few more amber ones. How many days should I let them live? Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. Everything is looking done. Been checking when lights turn on and just before you go out and the trenchomes are looking full and starting to turn amber. So first thing tomorrow there all going to get chopped down. Well that's all for this week Happy growing everyone.

Flowering starts

Plant seems to be growing well, she’s has some nice fans. I’ll be transplanting some time next week. Topped her this week too.
