Still looking smaller than usual but I think it could be down to the genetics I’m not sure, I saw a little brownish/orange burn spot on the tips of Grapey Walter #2, it dosent look like nute burn but not to sure it’s an issue at the moment. Did the first bit of LST of these girls tonight and hopefully they will respond well and start bushing out letting the dident branches catch up.

Week has gone very well will be trimming all fan leaves come week end. The buds are already starting to come in and the smell is becoming more pungent

Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. **** I will try my best to reduce tempatures gradually for the last 2-3 weeks . Plant should react well to this and feel the end of it’s season comming. Trichomes/Thc should develop better by doing this. **** Day 85. ( 45 days in flower ). Leaves we’re really dark, I was using Canna Boost heavily in the last feedings and They we’re getting full nutes for weeks. I decided to feed them 4.5 - 5 L Ph 5.9 water. Made sure to have 15-20% runoff. Their is 3 different strains and 8 plants. I will give them another 15-25 days depending on the plant and strain, before they are chopped and harvested ( Most of them have brown pistols but trichomes are not milky ) Day 86. Letting them do their thing , day tempature is at 26-27 C , night at 19-20 C Day 87. Some nutrient burn on one of the Jack Herrers. Going to give her another feeding of Water to flush her out with 15-20% runoff. The other 7 are going to get full feeding with potassium and Rezin; trying to gain some weight for their last 10-15 days before I start flushing them for with water for a week. Day 88. Fed 4 L - 4.5 L of PH water with 15-20% runoff to 1 of 8 plants. ( 1 of the Jack Herrer had nute burn ) ppm on runoff was 450. Fed 4 L - 4.5 L to 7 of 8 plants of full lineup +Rezin +potassium. Supported with some sticks the branches that are getting too heavy. Pistils that hadn’t turned brown are starting to but trichomes aren’t cloudy not amber yet. The 2 Diesel plants are taking time and are behind compared to the 6 others. Day 89. ( 49days flower ) All looking good , I was able to reach 24 C day and 19 C night with 45% Humidity. 1 of the 4 Jack Herrer is showing Amber dark trichomes 20%. She is going to be fed PH water from now on. Day 90. 1 of 4 Jack Herrer was fed PH water. The 7 other plants were fed full line, extra heavy ammount, with boost +potassium +rezin. This Will be their last feeding of nutrients before i start flushing them with Water +Rezin +canazym. day 91. Things are looking good. Fed them a really heavy Nutrient Dose yesterday and they are taking it well. Leaves are dark green, they keep putting on weight but trichomes are saying 10-14 days.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... This time I'm giving less. I'm going to try Pieters' handbook video (Canna) for mineral fertilizer (Canna). With 30-40% water content in the soil, I'm only watering what is consumed. For this, I got myself a parcel scale that is accurate to the gram up to 40 kg. This needs to be tested. Day 33: 3L bottle water EC 0.35 + 0.4ml/l CalMAg , 3ml/L Vega . Lamp has changed. Veg stage is on, so 600W lamp is placed to be in the tent and the watering is 2 x 15 ml 2 x a day so 30 ml water per plant. Ventilation goes on at the same time like the lamp does. These girls grow so fast. They started smelling as well. Light schedule is 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Ventilation is the same hours when the lamp is on the ventilation is on as well. When lamp is off I leave the ventilation on 15 min more. Fertilization will start also on Monday, Wednesday, Friday the same amount of water with bat guano mix. I will be back after 2 weeks from my holiday.

Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.
