I'm happy with the wet weight given it was 2 plants 11 inches in height when I started, the smells the colors the yield this was an easy and beautiful process

Day 50: Everything is looking happy after the little trimming. Getting ready to head out of town in a few days. Ordered a small automatic waterer from Amazon to assist while I'm gone. Watering/feeding day. Each plant got 1 gallon of water with the following things: 5mL per gallon Alaska 5-1-1 30mL per gallon Alaska 0-10-10 (a little more than normal to give them a boost) 5mL per gallon GrowMore Seaweed Extract 15mL Blackstrap Molasses Scratched into the surface of each pot is a 1/2 cup of Happy Frog Fruit & Flower Day 52: Leaving town early on Day 53 for 5 days. To prepare for the time I'll be gone I got an automatic watering system from amazon. Since I only use a total of 4 gallons during watering and only need one watering done while I'm gone, a single bucket will do the trick. I set up the system, installed two watering stems per pot, and made a looped system. In the bucket of water, I added nothing but the water. I don't want to have to worry about stirring it or anything like that. I set the system up to water when lights come on during the 3rd day I'm gone, Day 55. After I had the system set up I watered/fed the plants. Each plant got 1 gallon with the following: 5mL per gallon Alaska 5-1-1 15mL per gallon Alaska 0-10-10 5mL per gallon Grow More Seaweed Extract 15mL Blackstrap Molasses Plant 2 also got 1.25mL of AGT-50 Plant 3 also got 15mL of Liquid Culture Microbes Plant 4 also got both the AGT-50 and LCM at the same amounts above. 1 of the bubba kush & 2 of the gorilla zkittlez are a little behind but over all everything seems to be going good so far! Day 10 update transplanted all the ones in smaller pots to 5 gallon pots except 1 of the bubba Kush it still needs a few more days! Everything else seems to be going great!

📆 Week 13, 29 July - 4 August 2024 29 July - 4 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Aug - Turned light power down to 65%. 📑 Pablo continues to grow and slowly mature. Trichomes were checked this week, looks like they are all milky in color with no amber at all. I decided to turn the light power down to 65% for 2 reasons: to help in maturing the plant, and to avoid any bleaching because of being too close to the light. The DLI was actually closer to 50 at the top of the canopy, so lowering the power brought it back into the 40 DLI range. Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hi guys! Here we are again, closing report for week 12, or 8 of flowering, as you prefer. This was a great week! I'm super happy in first place, to be home again, and that gives me much more time to look after the plants, the conditions, and really take great care of the grow. All the 5 plants had great development in their bud production and amounts. The grow tent looks small for this 5 girls and now they're struggling a little with the space. About the feedings: I started flushing already. Might be early for many, but I don't see the need for more nutrients when the plants are looking so nice, and I'm also satisfied with it, so now just water until the end. Curiously, the 2 shortest ones are showing signs og being ready very soon as you can see in the close up shots and video. I might give it another week and will chop them both around december 13/14 The remaining 3 ones... they're still work in progress, growing enormously big for my expectations, and filling up the empty spaces with sweet, fruity and tropical aromas in the room. Damn it smells nice when you open that grow room. So yeah, basically now she's just finishing up, drinking water at 6.3 to 6.5PH max, 28 to 38ppm, the temps are good, 18 with lights off, 27 lights on... The only 'issue' this week it turning the plants a bit because they're bending with the weight. Besides that, all good. This happy grower is done for this week, let's see what week 13 will bring us. How ya doing mates?? Awesome week last week - all photos and logs have been added so be sure to check it out! This week is going great so far! I've switched to an early vegetative state nutrient system. As you'll see in the daily logs early this week, this bumps up the micro and grow nutes, and keeps the bloom at 0.6ml/gal. A quick note about last week - I'm unable to update the measurements, but please note that those nutrient amounts are measured in ml/gal, NOT ml/l. Anyhow, this week I'm just waiting to get my order of diatomaceous earth so that I can make up another batch of soil. I'm still debating between topping this week before repotting or letting them take root in the new pots first. Decisions decisions lol. I think at the very least I'll clean up some of the lower growth to make sure the energy is being spent at the right places. I've been switching back and forth between just LST and mainlining in the past - but I think I really like the ease and cleanliness of mainlining. The draw back is the recovery time they take in the process haha. UPDATE: The D.E. has come in, and I repotted the girls this week. I mixed in about 1.5-2 cups D.E. for the whole pot, as well as some Bat Guano and Kelp Meal for micro and macro nutrients to use on dry cycles. I've also included some photos of the mother plant to give an idea of what's to come! I've just started to flower it, which is the first time for this strain - so I'm pumped! Day 15: M.C. 01-21 After reviewing the last set of photos from last week, I figured I'd play it safe and dimmed the light back down to 25% strength. The mother plant is almost ready for flower, and I'm down some tents so she'll be taking this one over shortly. These photos were taken shortly after the lights went off, and they look quite happy! You can see some of the side branch developement in today's photo for MC-01. The pots are fairly dry now, and I've decided to move to the next stage in the nutrient regime. This kicks up the Micro and Grow nutes, while maintaining the Bloom amounts. M.C. 02-21 A nice top photo for MC-02, you can really see the lighter green in this photo. Not to worry though, as these will darken back to a vibrant green as long as I give her what she needs shortly! I've cleared out some space and moved plants around. So back out to the grow room these girls go! MC-01 seems much better today with the reduction in light. The 5th node is almost flattened out and the 6th coming through still. Most notably though, you can really see the work she's put into the side branches! The branches at nodes 2 and 3 are starting to produce more leaves - great sign! The new growth at the top is also a nice dark green. Added 500ml water to the tray. M.C. 02-21 MC-02 seems to have liked the adjustment of light as well. She's got nice dark green growth at the top, and the little branches at the 2nd node seem to have a full leaf! Added 500ml water to the tray. M.C. 03-21 The photo from today is cool, because you can see how close MC-01 & 03 are, even though there's almost a full node difference. MC-03 is stretch out a bit to compete with her sister for the light haha. She's also put some more effort into the side branches that you can see. Added 500 ml water to the tray. Day 17: M.C. 01-21 I figured a video would be the best way to illustrate the changes today! They've been back in the grow room under the Veg dedicated light for a day now and seem to be loving it! MC-01 has its' 5th node out, splitting the 6th node, and I can JUST see the 7th node coming in. I don't think they'll get too much more height, as you can see that the side branches are starting to stretch now! She's definitely going to be well tangled in the roots by the end of the week when I hope to repot her. M.C. 02-21 MC-02 is doing great despite the difference in height! You'll notice the side branches stretching out at nodes 2 & 3. The pots are also still fairly wet at their center, so I'll hold off on water most likely. At least this clone will have time to root more while we wait for the supplies! M.C. 03-21 MC-03 also has great side branching! If you take a look at the group photo from today, you'll see that both MC-01 & 03 are practically the same height, but MC-03 snuck in there by the stretch haha. Day 18: M.C. 01-21 My order of D.E. came in last night, perfect timing! As you can see, her roots have fully reached the bottom, and have started to migrate upwards with the water that's absorbed. The soil was a little dry for my liking, which made things a little difficult/dusty but still no mishaps! Watered around the root-zone before covering with more soil to keep the gnats down. M.C. 02-21 Not quite as much lateral root growth as MC-01, but still plenty enough for a repotting! Her soil was a little dry as well. Ideally I should have given them a light misting from the top of the soil and let is drip down to keep the dusty bits together haha. M.C. 03-21 Nice and thick root growth, no issues with repotting, and strong stalk. The extra spacing in the nodes may prove to be helpful during the training phase. Day 19: M.C. 01-21 Some nice top shots today as they slowly get acclimated to their new homes. Once I see them push out a new node, I'll probably top them. This is to make sure that they're taking to the new pot without causing any extra stress before they can take it. Today I watered them with an early veg nutrient. I like to stay cautious with nutrient boosts since they're in soil - not to mention the added nutrients from the repotting. M.C. 02-21 Top shots for the girls today. Not much change, but also no immediate signs of shock either, so I'll take it. M.C. 03-21 You can't really see it in this angled shot, but the small branch at the second node is coming along nicely! I think the girls are happy that they each have their own tray not haha. Day 20: M.C. 01-21 Definitely noticing some slow changes to the top nodes when comparing the pictures from the previous day. The leaves are slowly starting to separate, and I'm not noticing too much yellowing yet which is good. Watered with 500ml water to keep water migrating upwards to meet the roots. M.C. 02-21 Not noticing much change in this girl today, but that's okay. She's most likely focusing on the root developement instead which I can't complain about! Watered from the bottom. M.C. 03-21 Maybe seeing some separation in the top leaves, however more notably are the small branches at the 2nd node that you can see better here. Still a bit of stretching with them as they get longer. I might even keep them on for clones later on. Watered from the bottom. Day 21: M.C. 01-21 Looks like she gained some distance last night, as the top node is now above the fan leaves, unlike 2 days ago. I'm really getting eager to top them, as I don't want them to waste too much time and energy growing tissue that I'll just end up cutting off. I'll be bumping the nutrients up starting next week to keep the progress going, moving to a mid-veg stage shortly. I'm going to let things dry up tonight for a fresh boost of water tomorrow to give it a dry cycle as the pot is still a bit heavy. M.C. 02-21 MC-02 really worked hard last night it seems, as she almost completely flatted out her top leaves! I think she's ready for a topping, but I'll let her benefit from the headstart and let the other two catch up and root before. dry cycle for her tonight as well. M.C. 03-21 MC-03 was busy last night too and is now slowly flattening out the top node as well! Maybe tonight they'll have enough progress to go topless afterall haha. Dry cycle in prep for watering tomorrow.

The week was well. One of my ladies seem a little over watered. So I'll cut back on her little this week. I did top them all (yes I top earlier than most people 3rd or 4th node rather than 5th or 6th) this week every time I watered I threw in some human acid and whatever microbes I felt like using I think I've added pnsb, & recharge and prolly the sample of fish sh!t I had this week. I'll prolly brew a tea or do a compost extract sometime this week just because I haven't done one yet.

These 2 girls are looking and smelling good, canopy is almost full. I'm glad they are staying smaller and not over running my grow box. Had to LST the first girl again. She recovered well and now fully spread out and shes finishing up stretch. She has some yellowing leafs at the bottom so I upgraded her nutrients to 5ml/gal. I will see how she reacts to it and adjust accordingly. The second girl was just a big bundle of leafs, I took off about 10-15 big leafs, now more bud sites are exposed. (See Pictures) Maybe I can get a little bit more LTS out of her. I'm not sure she is going to stretch anymore. Time will tell.

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots.
