Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

The leaves are starting to fade and the shortest of the three has had her pistils start to turn and is getting dense while putting on weight. They have that “northern lights” aroma that is a personal favorite of mine. It’s time for the fox farms beastie bloomz for a week or two.

Been feeding just water ready for the chop. Some of them have all brown pistils and have pretty much stopped all together. The kalimist indica pheno is still flowering so I'll let it go until it looks ripe 👍

Last week of veg, i think these girls will start to flower the next couple of days! At the moment great results under this TS1000 as always! We gave a very light nutrients this week just to jave some nitrogen as im using a light mix as soil, lets see how it goes the next weeks 😁💪

I flushed 2 times this week to deprive it of nutes then I schwazzing the heck out of it waited 8 hours till it was bone dry and blasted it with 100% nutes with reduced cal-mag mix after this it took about 20 hours to see the buds gain about 15% more size. The foliage is showing the signs of stress I'm give it but the buds are doing what it want.

First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Esta semana tuve dudas con el riego, como en casi toda la etapa de la planta, pero al fin, la veo super bien. Le doy 1 Litro de agua cada 3 dias, y parece que le encanta! Las ramas principales miden entre 70-80 cm, la mas grande llego a los 90 cm ! Ya no hay lugar para que siga creciendo mas alto, ya que no puedo subir mas la luz. Excepto ese asunto, todo va de 10 puntos! Ya estoy saboreando mis primeras cookies. Paz!
