~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! 01.07.25 Day 77 On 2 phenos the buds are dense. I think the others are becoming dense. I just need to wait for them to catch up. The smell is so amazing (sweet with citrus) and the buds are sticky. Trichomes look cloudy. Fresh reservoir change out today. I will be flushing after this week. Or if trichomes say other wise. This will be my 1st time flushing

Week 2 went well. Plant 1 kicked off the bloom cycle with a bang, plant 2, still asleep I guess🤷‍♂️ finally showing a flower formation on day 14. Plant 1 was showing after 34 hours of dark, day 2. As far as the canopy goes, 74 out of 81 squares filled. I'm guessing one more tucking session in a week and we sit back and watch. Cranked up the food to, again, what general hydro recommends at this stage aswell as some bud start I had a sample of from a buddy. I dont intend on buying any magic potions this time around, just the future harvest samples I have. Setup needs a reformat, at that point I will settle on a nutrient line for the next grow. The root mat seems to be working as I hoped. How this affects yield/quality vs extra veg who knows🤷‍♂️ but more roots more buds right? I'm also zeroing in on the dryback cycles which I believe is causing more branching and less tap root entanglement. Hard to capture but the root mat is a crisp white for the most part. In the photos, the dead yucky brown rot looking portions are actually only slightly darkened. Hopefully light leak, not fungus as the brown is only on mature roots and not slimy in the slightest. What can I say about barneys ayahuasca purple. Its purple already😅 I must add, flower set is a beautiful thing. The anticipation is building, fingers crossed🤞

Week 8 - The smell on these is out of this world I believe ever bit these can beat a photoperiod I went ahead and watered with nutes for the last day today going to begin flushing these last 2 weeks good luck growers Wish me luck I need it lol !

Happy New Year GD people, lets put this one way behind us and look forward to the light at the end of the tunnel, its darkest before the dawn so stay lifted and safe. This weeks time lapse was a big bucket of suck! the camera was not on any plant just pointed at the floor of the tent you can see a little in the corner but all in all an epic fail. The plants did not care however, they responded well to the topping and they are getting really bushy. I raised my lights to try to help them stretch. The Strawberry Ice is a tour de force in the veg stage. The Blue Dream Haze is about average and the reboot is coming along. This Royal Gold coco "Tupur" says it can be watered up to six times a day. I have not had to water these girls for about 3-4 days the media really retains the moisture I am afraid if I water more frequently I will rot the roots. My watering is based on the pot weight. If they are heavy let them dry out and water when light. I'm giving them a late veg feeding per the Emerald Harvest 3 part nutrient series feeding chart with an added blast of CAL MAG. The TUPRU says on the bag it needs the extra CAL MAG. Time to LST these ladies for the next 2 weeks then flipping them to flower. gonna adjust the camera and hope to get a good shot the the LTS bounce back. TTFN.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de floración de estas Gelato 44 de RoyalQueenSeeds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar, empecé añadir el mega pk y el Thor. Las flores empezaron a engordar, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. Beginning of third week, changed up my set up! Ready to see how these girls react to the Nutes also I have two slow growing plants(purple lemonade autoflower) & (seedsman autoflower lemon)

I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.

Last week we started with LST and this week we will continue but also do topping.One week closer to the goal 💚

Fastbuds Auto Update – Week 7 One of the autos is really standing out already — beautiful frosty buds forming and an amazing fruity aroma filling the space! 🍓✨ It’s definitely the star of the group so far. I had to switch the light schedule down to 12/12 because I’m running a shared space with my photoperiod plants. This caused a bit of a step back in their growth pace. ⏳ Honestly, if I had kept them at 18 hours of light, I think they’d be much closer to harvest by now. 🌞. Still, they’re pushing through nicely, and I’m excited to see how these buds fatten up over the next weeks! 💪🌿

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

The heads are starting to swell now , the lowers are looking undeveloped still. I might do a little defoliation to let in some more light next week. I’ve noticed the first bit of change in a couple of the old lower fan leaves this week. At this stage I’m not too concerned. Buds are frosty, sticky and dank smelling.
