Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Alfalfa Meal, 2 tbsps. Organic Molasses, 2 tbsps. Bat Guano, 2 tbsps. kelp meal) As Per *Canucks Grow* 24 hours water aerated & 24 hours for the Tea to Cook! So I'm on holiday at the mo. My friend is house sitting (plant sitting) and has sent me a few photos to keep me happy. Not the best quality as over exposed, so I'll upload some better ones when I'm home on Sunday. Worth noting that the light yellowing of the leaves is a result of the over exposure and not a dying plant lol. Looks like good progress. No close ups to see if it's flowering unfortunately, but it's definitely still growing in stature. A follower noticed some leaves clawing at the top of the plant, but it hasn't got any worse in the last week and I haven't actually given it any additional nutes, so fingers crossed I don't have nitrogen toxicity. Gave some Biosyss last week, hoping that it has provided an optimum environment I didn't use LST and wondering whether that's going to mean a lesser yield. Update: asked a question and found that not too late to LST so going to start that Monday when back from hols. Updated with better pictures 👌🏻 Any thoughts? I'm back from holiday tomorrow and planning on starting a feeding schedule of biogrow, bio bloom and topmax to maximise yield 👌🏻 10/10/21 - Back from holidays and have uploaded new pictures. Lots of pistels appearing now suggesting it is going into flowering. I have decided to go ahead and LST despite the stress it might cause. I figured with it being a hardy strain that it may tolerate it, and the benefits (if it works) would make it worth the risk. 11/10/21 - Plants have coped really well with the nutrients. Checked pH today and sitting at around 6 which is ideal. Humidity fluctuates a little. Between 45% and 65%. If keeps going high then I'll put a dehumidifier in. Buds starting to form/flower now. Exciting times

First plants are outside. 3 are growing in a large container. They have to share it with an old lady who is stil flowering after 90 days Two are growing guerilla style between the sunflowers. The rest will get their own pot.

Im doing a bit of defoliation, moreover the leaves that covering the buds, i cut some small branches on the bot of the plants, to keep energy for the distal parts of the branches. Every 2 day approximately, to no stress a lot the plants, I pinch the apex of MD1, MD2 and BB1, that my secondary branches go up, until the height of the apex central. Nutriments : 2,0 mL/L of rhizotonic, 2,5 mL/L of cannazym every watering. 2,0 mL/L of terra vega every 2 or 3 watering in case of they need (N) until the final of the strecht (first 2 weeks of bloom). I will put 5L every watering (pots of 18L) and I will analysed the drain of every plants to check pH and the fertilizer amount. Im really proud of theses plants, they are strong, resistant (the trunks are huuuge, moreover the Moby dick from Dinafem) and so healthy !! The MD 3 has reacted really really good with the topping ! Im impressed and quite sure do topping next time ;) I hope they will give me the best of themselves !!!! Lets wait the final of the strecht 😉

Happy new year everyone! I hope everyone had some amazing festivities! 😃 Regarding my babies I think I might be underfeeding them and one might be shocked thanks to the heat and the lack of nutrients I gave them, last week's runoff water scared me and the plants might be suffering because of that! Most of the issues starts to get more noticeable later during the week! 😖 I started giving them few nutrients to see how they would react and at the end of the week it's clear that I had to give them waaaaay more 😵 Besides that I also moved them to their final pots and I topped Pistachio, out of the two she's the one that looks the best. I also defoliated them a little. I also believe they didn't get a transplant shock (I mean, they would've been worse if that was the case haha) and I added more mycorrhizas during the transplant (I heard they help a lot with hot climates and I need help with that badly) Anyway, thanks for reading! Week 6 – Vegetative Stage 🌱 Plants have now reached a strong and well-developed structure, with noticeable height increase and a dense canopy. Growth remains vigorous, and overall health is clearly visible across all plants. Everything is now ready for the transition into the flowering phase 🔥

No special problem for this fourth week of flowering. The stretching period of the Moby Dick was a little longer than that of the Shark or OG Kush. That's why I preferred to wait for PK 13/14. I began to defoliate a little, the buds begin to fill little by little. The two apices are already well bloomed and begin to cover with trichomes. The smell remains discreet.

02/28/2021 What a difference in a week! Potted up GSC To 1 gallon pot, Blue Dream next, pics coming soon. (Later tonight) Blue Dream potted up and watering done. Both have nice side shoots for clones. GSC is at 10" tall, Bluedreamatic Dream is at7.5" Also took 5 cuttings of Wreak Havoc hope to have 2 of each clone (GSC,BLUE DREAM,WREAK HAVOC) for outside, I believe I got the lemony kush pheno which is perfect for my climate!
