[2026 Feb 6 | Day 70] - She's now 6 weeks into flower and is maturing quickly. I defoliated her quite a bit this past week, removing all the fan leaves and any water leaves that were poking into nearby colas. I've gone ahead and added some basic structural support to all the branches in the event that the buds get too heavy. The branches aren't as strong as I would like them to be where they connect with the main stem, and it's better to take precautions. nutrients will be tapered off this week and part of the next. Lighting will remain in the 40-42 DLI range near the top leaves and be tapered off next week. Trichomes are still mostly clear, but there's the odd milky head which could be just a trick of the light. The density of the trichomes are impressive though, they are so thick in spots that the heads are smushing together. Her smell is getting pretty strong, and is now a mix of vanilla, berries and diesel.

Finish Line... The first Red Banana Berry needed a bit longer and was today banished from the tent and transferred to the living dead, or also known as cut flower technique (a little phosphoric acid (Ph-) in water). It now spends a few days in the dark next to the tent, metabolizing its chlorophyll. 😍 My new SANlight Stixx 4-100 has arrived for under-canopy lighting. Let’s see if it’s worth it. at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

WEEK 4 (Day 22-28) These Runtz are growing really well. I'm thrilled with this Barneys genetics. I applied two different topping techniques to my two plants. The larger plant was topped once after four nodes to create eight main shoots, while the second plant was topped at the second node to create four shoots and then topped again to reach eight. That's it for cutting now. I think the plants are handling it very well and will continue to thrive beautifully.

Dear friends, this diary tells the story of the development of two Runtz for convenience I divided the harvests, if you want to see the other plant is documented in the week before the harvest. Middle week 7 chunking up nice dark Purple leaves.

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.

Final update before harvesting. I will be harvesting this entire tent come Sunday. This grow has been a long and knowledgeable all at the same time. This strain is very resilient to say the least! Until next update!

Still vegging. Longer than I imagined. Have yet to introduce blooming fertilizer. Maybe next week.

Hey guys, three days ago there was a bit of a storm and Madame unfortunately didn't hold out. hope the top is still supplied with nutrients and the few seeds will probably still be finished... today as almost the whole week again only rain.. towards Thursday some improvement and more sun.. Smell is super sweet and strawberry. really something different.. hope the turn is also good... which day today is not a plan but since it is now as good as over, not quite so bad... Changed my light to the AC Infinity Evo 3

Wow all her pistils have changed colour! Trichomes all milky! She's absolutely smashed flowering quick! She is as frosty and smelly as can be!! Will be harvested within 24h.

Day 50 since seed touched soil. From now on all is in stable position. AK will always be in right corner from now. Biggest, fattest girl in all garden, takes a bit effort to bend even few top, stacked and fat ;) 5 liters went in, want good run off and saturation. Later today will install second level of scrog. Reposition all shoots, some are lost, i almost regret instaling scrog, lost control of even height a bit, but canopy is very dense, branches went fatter during that week, i am happy . Mars TSL2000 is on 80% will increase to 90% at the end of this week. Day 53. Second level of scrog almost eaten, will have to make third, plus heavy clearing awaits next week ... Day 54. Think tomorrow is watering day. Girls need good clearing, bottom canopy been canibalised heavily, lack off air shows a lot. Will do third level of scrog together with watering. Happy Growing !!!
