This week the Blueberry is still in mid-flowering, and the buds are swelling steadily with nice calyx formation. The fruity aroma is getting stronger and trichome coverage is spreading well over the flowers. At this stage I’m continuing with Big Bud, since the plant is still focusing on building mass and volume. Big Bud provides the extra phosphorus and potassium needed for flower development before I make the switch to Overdrive later on. For now, the Blueberry is showing healthy progress and I expect the real bulk to come in the next couple of weeks.

Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water.

Harvest day has finally arrived. Looking back, this grow was anything but perfect. There were setbacks, mistakes, pests, equipment issues and plenty of moments where things didn't go according to plan. But that's exactly what made this journey so valuable. After harvest, the plant was hung upside down to dry inside the tent for 10 days. Once she reached the right moisture level, she was carefully trimmed and transferred into glass jars to begin the curing process. Seeing the dried flowers after everything this plant has been through is incredibly satisfying. Now it's time to slow things down once again and let patience do the rest. A huge thank you to everyone who followed along, left a comment, shared advice or simply stopped by. Your support and encouragement have meant a lot throughout this journey. The journey isn't quite over yet. Now the cure begins, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the aromas, flavors and effects continue to develop over the coming weeks. 🌱💚

So I made a totally noob mistake. I can't believe I didn't think about how fast the males would spread pollen. I was still trying to figure out which male I wanted to use for selective pollination on a specific branch. So I pulled the males and I'm attempting to collect pollen using a trim tray screen. Its working quite well and I'll make a video with that as well. I'm not even sure if it's viable or if my attempt and mistake of leaving the males too long will work. So anyways I realize now how delicate it is to have males. They start popping fairly quickly. The gelato female is praying hard. Super happy it seems Come check out my YouTube y'all

Day 115 since seed touched soil. What a pain to trim it was , almost 5 hours wasted and still see yellow ;(((( .... Journey is almost over ... This girl taught me few things for sure ;) Few month later : very important and lovely news, Seeds Mafia just transfered promised money for diary, so one more huge respect to them !!!! Great house, strong genetics and most important - they follow theirs promises !!!! Highly recommend !!! My first earned cash for growing , it was lovely !!! Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. No more than 3 leaves removed per plant, per day to avoid stress. ______________________________________ Can't wait to start upgrading the quality of my journals and to hear you all's feedback! The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

I had a burn on my central plant, close to the apical top ... I'm really angry. I admit it, I was an idiot to tinker too much with the lights, and this served me as a lesson .... aaaahh how bad it is when you are inexperienced ... but how do you say: "wrong you learn" .... do not worry ... we are on the wave of the harvest !!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. The girls have recovered well after my massive defoliation. Girl number 1 is now 40 cm high, number 2 is 105 cm and number 3 is 25 cm. It is strange that 3 plants from the same strain, with the same care and environment, can distinguish so much in appearance and size. It separates 80 cm in numbers 2 and 3. In 4 days Nr1 has grown 3 cm, Nr 2 has grown 17 cm and Nr 3 has grown 4 cm. They have received 7 liters of water and nutrition today.
