Day 35 Flowering: The bud fun continues to impress me with these Exotic girls.The heat has been ridiculous this last week and in the 37°c area more than a few times. It shows the brilliant resilience of the genetics. They have not stalled or shown any heat exhaustion during the practice for hell week which has been a relief. I think without the co2 bag , they would have feared a lot worse. The Banana are really filling out nicely now and when I tested the smell with a rub, the hit of ripening bananas hit me hard. They are not as chunky as the purple monkey but there are a lot of mains among the 4 plants so fingers crossed for a good haul. The Purple monkey are doing really well with some excellent examples of buds on them., they should start to really bulk up over the coming week you. I still think they could finish early around day 49 flowering maybe as they are so well developed and are starting to show more orange hairs all over their buds. The smell is amazing too with a really sweet candy and lemon hint with it nice and tacky to touch now too. The 2 crosses are trying their best to catch up with the main ladies and all look healthy and well too thankfully. Playing the waiting game now with the last 4 weeks to swell and ripen . Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. I was late on giving them their next feeding. I didn’t wanna do it too early because of impatience but I should’ve listened to the plants. Added 1tsp (5ml) of uprising foundation for some cal mag. Other than that, just watering. I’ve been boiling water, a day or so in advance to get rid of chlorine and anything else I can.

she is progressing nicely. she has been drinking 1 and a half liters of water per day. tea on Sunday also added some flower fuel see if I can enhance the bud structure make the buds denser thicker frost is coming in nicely no complaints from me on that.

Starting to pick up a bit of bulk now. I'm reluctant to remove some of the fan leaves, because I maimed my first grow lol. So I'm using soft plant wire to hold the fan leaves aside. Allow as much light through to the new nodes

FBA2502 Week 4 April 20-26 Veg 4 Highlights of this week: I defoliated the large fan leaves from the main stems. After defoliating, I saw that plant #3 has a short, tight node structure like plant #1, so I pinned her down before she goes into flowering. Plants 2, 4, 5, and 6 are taller than plants 1 and 3. The larger plants 2, 4, 5, 6 show pre flowers with thinner new growth and hairs at the nodes. The leaves are wide and thick. Some have a slight blue tinge. This makes me think I’m over feeding. Apparently, the blended soil has enough nutrients for the autos, so I don’t need to feed right now. At the end of the week, I watered with ph 6.5 water with cal mag and recharge. Lights are 20” from tops of tall plants and 30 from 1& 3. My general thought for the future grows is to wait until the plant is bigger and see its structure before starting training. #1 has many branches coming into the middle. By beginning with pinning and keeping it at the ground, she will not achieve the stretch around the pot. I pinned #3 to push out the bud sites from being up against the main stem. It is easier to LST when there is more space between the nodes, so a bit of growth or stretch is required. Training to open the top is needed when the plant is short and tight. Took well to defoliation Weather is so bad, she is not getting any sun. Looks like it'll be like this for the foreseeable future :( The top was getting too bushy so I did some lst and opened her up to take up max sun on the odd day that it shines

Week 6 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 36 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 37 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - Jan 18/21, Day 38 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 39 Veg - measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. - Jan 20/21, Day 40 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 41 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 42 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana Auto is doing well, she is almost done stretching and I have almost fully transitioned her to flower nutrients. She is currently getting silica, cal mag, and 75/25 veg and flower nute mixture of GH maxigrow/maxibloom. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will also increase the exposure to the UV/IR light as flower progresses. As she is almost done stretching, there is not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out.
