MAY 1st 2024 - LAST batch of clones have come in, Did 3 runs off each to get the plant count high enough to have the ability to pick and choose which clones to keep to get the best of the best. So a nice surprise was that we got to add in purple ghost candy to the run ! @seedsman seeds PURPLE GHOST CANDY , Out rooted every other strain in the room showing as soon as 5 days in some cases. The EXOTIC ANIMAL was extremely hard to get to root and take and grow vigorously. So we ended up cutting back on the exotic animal to fill out the bed with the PGC. We will be axing 3 of the mom's out of the tent right away & keeping the rest for evaluation after harvest, Stinkin Bishop is going, Even though it roots well, I did not like how much it haired up & for that reason its gone, Exotic animal is gone as well. As much as I love animal cookies and the sound of this strain, It HATES to clone and is damn near impossible to get it to take well. We ended up getting enough for a few rows, Then the Gorilla Sherbert is going as well, As it is a weird mutant sort of phenotype just shooting strange leaf patterns out. So our ROSTER going forward after this harvest well be : PURPLE GHOST CANDY RAGE KILLER TUNA JUNGLE LAVA LAMB CHOPS STRAWBERRY COOKIES from our original seeds, Then our GENERATION 2 mothers will be : Sugar Cane Jaeger Banana Jealousy @seedsman Peyote Skittlez @seedsman Rude Boi OG @Seedsman Fuel Do.G @seedsman after we have run the Generation 2 mothers as clones & get the harvest in, We will be finalizing our mother plant selection & cutting out the weakest of the lot. We are looking to keep 6 of the absolute best of the best. @seedsman WAIT until you see the RUDE BOI OG, I knew not to give up on it... This one is going to be special 6 year old seed but its gonna be a banger.

All plants keep growing nice. I topped the smaller at day 19, hope it reacts good day 23 update . topped still alive, good i think

Day 14 and the Cali snow is growing pretty well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

This week I just watched them grow. I watered a couple times using the nutrients mentioned & today I watered with just 6.3 ph water that I filtered. These girls are bushing up & I’m not mad about it. I haven’t done much defoliation just the topping I did a couple weeks ago. I’ll Start doing that probably after I flip to flower & add my trellis net.

Transplanted from 200ml to 4L.

Today is day 23 of flower. So I've been chasing a minor P-K deficiency. The plants are happy and healthy and are just feeding heavy at the moment. Well over and above any recommended servings with respect to the dry amendments and water soluble P-K inputs. As with any grow regardless of what you're using for inputs (organic amendments/salt based bottle feeding/crop salts/etc....) the recommended feed rates are never anything more than a baseline. So to remedy the deficiency I added the Flower 2 at 1.5 times the reccomended dosage (3 grams per liter of water) and a little over twice the dosage of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom dry amendments (250ml per 7 gallon pot). I also fed a mung bean/barley seed sprout tea as well as a compost tea (2/3 of a cup of each seed). The feed rates will stay well above recommended servings for the Flower 2 but the 250ml addition of the 2-8-4 would be considered a large addition for a single serving so I will give the plants 5-7 days to see how they react to dry amendments before top amending again at any rate (you cant burn your plants with organic inputs but you can still suffer nutrient lockout so you need to be mindful and patient when feeding heavy.) On day 19 of flower I did a large pruning/defoliation/lollipopping of the plants. Both from the top of the pot to the bottom of the first layer of trellis removing everything. I also cleaned the plants out from above the first layer of trellis netting to the top of the plant. As I waited to clean up the bottom third of the plants until my typical strip day in flower (day 18-21 depending on strain and flowering times, these are 9 week strains which is why the strip falls in the day 18-21 range, if they were 8 week finishers the leaf strip would take place somewhere between days 14-16). When running multiple layers of trellis netting it's best to prune/lollipop everything below the first layer of netting about 7-10 days before the flip. Odds are your lights wont penetrate that far down the plant so these areas of the plant typically only produce what's commonly known as larf. I'm running new lights so I decided I'd wait until the big strip I always do in flower. This was grower error. I know better and wont make this mistake again. Its unnecessary stress added during flower that could've been prevented. As I decided to wait to clean out the bottoms I didnt prune the plants as aggressively as I normally would (I adopted Grand Master Levels leaf strip practices years ago, check him out on IG or YouTube if you want to see what that looks like). The week went smoothly with no major issues to report. The seasons are changing here so were getting rain, damp wet snow, and have very humid conditions outside. As a result this affects the atmosphere in my grow room but not enough to cause concern. A little less than 6 weeks until the chop!

Little clean up in the tent things got out of control. By removing lowers and inners that would possibly not produce much will definitely let those tops stack up nicely. These buds will without any doubts be rock solid, I can tell by how sturdy those stems already are. I transplanted this week was a nightmare root mass caught everywhere in the 3 Gal, now into 5’s. 👍✌️

Glookie Bomb did great from Bomb seeds. Very sweet earthy smell. Lots of frosty goodness. I cut her, and will be hanging for 24 hours. Then I will trim fan leaves off, and put her in the cannatrol for 8 days. Once done I will do a final trim, and be back with smoke report. She grew great with the Spider Farmer SE5000, and in the Athena blended line of nutrition. Well, it’s underway... I can’t wait to see everyone’s diaries coming along at the same time, especially now I’ve found some others in the competition with the same strain. So to start off, I popped the seeds into lukewarm water until they all stuck out a taproot. This process approximately took 24 hours. After that, I placed the seeds straight into a 6.0ph damp mixture of coco coir with perlite, mixed with a low dose of monster bud mix, supplied by Zamnesia. Then I placed the pots under the LED light for one night and 4/5 girls have put their heads up. I’m going to give all 5 seeds about 2-3 weeks in small pots to reveal which plant has the strongest genetics, followed by the best being potted into the competition pot provided by Zamnesia. Week 5 veg for the Lemon and week 4 for the LSD. - on this note I think I recorded a week about half a week early so in reality we may actually be 4.5 weeks and 3.5 weeks. Friday's are the best entry day for me so I will keep documenting as is for now but this realisation is a nice sentiment and eases the anxiety. Nothing other than they seem a bit behind in growth is a concern right now so I am happy. Lemon OG Haze; 6ish weeks from seed and she isn't very big, a rough start to life with damage as a seedling. In saying that she is not showing any signs of sex just yet so I am not so concerned. I was originally going to cut the veg nutes and introduce bloom at end of veg week 6 but given she's not showing any signs of transitioning I will keep her vegging for as long as possible, at this stage I will aim for week 7 veg. - As I type this I am wondering if she is actually an auto, maybe the pack I received was mislabelled, time will tell I guess. LSD-25; Again slower growth that what I am used to with this strain but she has kicked into overdrive in the past few days and is showing some pistils so I am semi-ok with the progress. She is starting week 5 veg now I will try and veg for as long as I can but with a plan to re-evaluate at the end of week 6. I have started LST and defoliating, this will be done daily to promote bushy growth.
