Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

Another week is over, and on the 12th it's time to harvest ✂️, it wasn't one of my favorite crops, the plant's growth was very irregular, but I hope that after drying and curing it will be worth it. I'll update as soon as I have my first impressions 🌱✌️🍁💨

This plant was outstanding was with the other two that caught a little bit of powdery mildew but this one did not show a sign at all so I would say it is very resistant to powdery mildew. It was the smallest grower but produced the biggest yield and the prettiest flowers. She will sit and cure and I will update with the smoke once I am ready. But other than that I would see the stunted growth is cultivator error as they are my first auto flowers I was very careful not to overwater so I very well might have underwater. So I will experiment with a little bit more water next time and maybe a 20-4 light cycle.

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. d.85 really fading hard, and buds are growing in size. just letting her do her thing, we are taking this to the end. also got my humidity down. d.87 buds are fattening up 😍 all i have to say about that is, bigger boots, bigger roots = bigger fruits. mainlining is possible with auto, as long as you choose a big enough pot size and time the topping and lst. after that part is done, then the auto just needs time to do its thing.

What up family, weekly update on the beautiful ladies. I did a major defoliation this week as they'll be getting the chop soon. They smell funky from the Guava yet sweet from the Runtz, so I think it'll make some amazing extracts. All in all Happy Growing.

Pink gelato is still not fully recovered and still looks a bit stressed, but I decided to take the risk and move forward anyway. Both plants were originally planned for this run, but I removed the smaller one and kept the stronger plant to stay focused and avoid an uneven setup. She was transplanted into her final 8.5L pot and moved into the 70x70 flowering tent. The substrate was prepared the same way as before using the BioTabs “just add water” approach. Once everything is set up properly, the idea is to let the soil life take over and keep things simple with just water. another week of no rain right after a 100mm storm. Plants are in full bloom now and need a regular supply of water. I hope mother nature starts to co operate here.

Day 50 flowering. I am still glad i didnt chop her down withbthe others and her resin production is great. a lot of leaf on her and some problems supporting herself at all on her stringy legs. I should have stripped her out a lot more during defols but too late now.lol.A week /ten days left for her roughly and i am hoping for some budswell !!!. She smells fruity sweet to touch and leaves fingers very spiderman.lol
