18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 4 Marilla Fruit plants and they are all very different. The scent of each plant is very strong and very special. MF # 2 - 79cm - has a very compact Indica growth pattern with wide and large leaves. I had to defoliate a lot. Trichomes production is well underway. MF # 3 - 99cm - is more of the sativa type. Very slender leaves with purple stem. Trichomes production is also well underway at this plant. MF # 4 - 81cm - Indica plant with thick clusters of leaves that are packed very close together. Lots of defoliation work. MF # 6 - 96cm - rather sativa type. Open structure, relatively few large leaves, many side branches, buds spread over the entire plant. Less positive are the many small leaves between the flowers.

Glookies turned out surprisingly well! It yielded the least amount, at only 50g, but it was by far the most resin-coated plant in the tent. I would highly recommend this strain to beginners. It handled a lot of abuse throughout it's life cycle: multiple deficiencies, nitrogen toxicity, tip burn, etc. and still turned out beautiful and effective. The nuggets turned out nice and dense after drying/curing as well. I'm highly interested in coming back to this strain again in the future. What a great introduction to Barney's Farm.

Explosive growth this week! Must of doubled in size. Some kind of hungry insects, caterpillars maybe? Minor leaf damage, nothing major. Going to keep up with Neam/Aloe/Kelp spray. No rain in the foreseeable future, 26c every day, early summer for sure. Doesnt appear to need any extra nutrients, will add some more Gaia Green next week. I've had Lupins here for the past few years, which are Legumes and have great nitrogen fixing qualities, not to mention this entire patch of land had 20 years of old decaying blackberry bramble which were cleared 3 years ago when we bought the place, and the soil is some of the richest I've ever seen. No shortage of Nitrogen in there. I'll be honest, this plant is twice the size this time of year then the last 2 years I've been growing outdoors. I'm a little concerned I'll need my ladder come Oct! I did FIM once earlier in the week, will FIM ever 2-3 weeks till July to try and keep the height under control.

This plant started off normal but my soil is a little hot and the light is intense and can't raise any higher right now ..That being said she germinated fine 18/h water then paper towel method . She sprouted in 1 day then was put in soil and again 1 day later she was out. Besides bleaching her she has been growing fine and in optimistic about the grow and her genetics this will be my second grow with this strain . She was so good I couldn't wait to start another one ,this girl will be 100% organic and I'm excited to watch her grow cheers canna family. ..

August 28 is officially day 1 for me. Every single one of these popped easily and came out of the soil with zero issues. The seedling stage stresses me out so I’m glad things are already off to a good start. Toking one down for good luck *puff puff pass*.

My experience overall can be best described as an interesting enlightening process. Since it was my first time growing it was definitely a learning experience. From the height being as tall as it was to the high winds in the area making it difficult to keep them from toppling when the buds were reaching full maturity. Thinking it would have benefited from more topping than just the once. The terps that this strain has are exquisite!! I am going to miss walking by them towering over me and just breathing in their berry cream aroma, taking in the sweetness like I had just had some dessert. She's getting close now! She has bulked up and all her branches are starting to bend over. These aren't the biggest buds I have grown, but they are very dense and heavy. She should be a good yielder. I'm going out of town for the 4 day weekend and by the time I get back, I'm sure she will be ready.
