Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! I started germination of 2 Critical purple kush beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some Background information on my experience with CPK. I've ran this strain a good dozen times. It's a very short, robust, and branchy variety. Packs on fat dense colas with immaculate bud structre and trichome production. It's a fairly fast finisher and packs a real potent stoned. She gets very sexy purple highlights and hues. Some phenos more purple than others but I've always got color. She doesn't mind lst, and some good training work greatly increases yeilds. I've ran her inside and out and all times of the year. She seems to strive and flourish in any environment. Just give her that light and watch her grow! She packs a very signature kush pallet and she always has a spot in my rotation! Seedsman knocked it out the park with these genetics.

Ende Woche 7. Ich habe die Gute ordentlich entlaubt, mini Buds entfernt und alles so hingebogen, dass es gut Licht bekommt. An Tag 48 gab es 2,5 g Pflanzengeflüster (Harpin-Protein) auf 1 L Wasser als Wurzeltränke, da ich so weit in der Blüte nichts mehr sprühen möchte, obwohl Harpin über Blattdüngung viel besser wirkt. Beim ursprünglichen Mix der Erde hatte ich einen Denkfehler bei der Düngermenge, daher wurden die fehlenden 200 g jetzt noch oben aufs Substrat gegeben und dann mit frischer Erde abgedeckt.

This week is start of 4th flower week. The plants look good but i need buy some yellow cards. Buds become bigger and start to smell more intense. The lemon haze surprised me, because i germinated her 15 dsys after them other 2 and shes the biggest of them all. Hope, everything will be fine. ✌️ In the middle of the week i took the net away because it seems they stretched finally and they have a good shape now.

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

The structure on these 2 girls are beautiful, I believe they are starting to pre-flower so this is the last technical week of veg. I hope they stretch a little so they get taller and not so squatty.

in the last week i did some defoliation and tied her down switched to 12/12 yesterday

Buds are still packing on both girls. New pistils still shooting out with no orange hairs showing yet. Im thinking this is going be be a longer finish, may go to 14/15 weeks if necessary. Going out of town for work, topped up the res with adding micro and bloom.

They’re chopped we will be checking in again in 7-10 days and start the the whole weighing process. They have beautiful color they got dark now I see the why the name lol. I’m glad I was able to keep her and give her a proper grow. Make sure to check out the other diary we are at week 3 of Veg and we flip to flower next week.

Harvested 2 of 8 plants today. 90% or more trichomes were white with a few amber here or there. All pistils brown on the 2. 2 more plants should be ready within 2 days. The others are still a week out.
