01/27/25. Welcome to the start of week 4. I was hoping for a better week with this girl and I got it. Woohoo. She was paling and starting to look a bit sad and droopy. Her first true leaves have yellowed quite a bit, but I upped her food and the rest of her has darkened up, and she’s perky and not sad :). Shes beautiful. 😻😻 I think slightly warmer temperatures have also pleased her as well. She grown quite a bit since last update. She’s now one of the biggest girls. Shes currently at 4 nodes and I will top her when she hits 5. She was just watered yesterday, slowly, until a bit of run off. I’ve upped her food to 2.5 across 3 parts, as well as upped calmag (1) and silica (2). I pulled a dip shit move and left my measuring tape in the flower tent and it’s lights off, so I’ll have to come back tomorrow to update that. I doubt she’s much different than last measurement though honestly. Update: 01/29/25- updated measurement and watered with food. 01/31/25- topped and added picture/video. I can see this being a easy strain to chop up when its done and I cant wait to do it again. %100 recomend this but not for a newbie and if you struggle with over heating 27+. Day 50: Wow these girls are loving their repot. I moved them up to their final 50L pots now so no more disturbing those roots. They were starting to circle just as I re-potted so I think i hit it perfectly . They have been so easy to work with so far and took to their training so well. I am going to begin tying down for their final setting now I have the growth tips and choices of where they go. I am going to strip out a little leaf too and also make sure I take out any potential popcorn larf. FFT1 is certainly the smaller of the group but her squat nature gives her a nice thick stem to hold weight. No issues with her at all. FFT5 sits in the middle for her growth size. She is also looking very healthy and her Mega crop start has given her a beautiful colour on her leaves. She looks sativa in her structure for node distance so I think a stern tie down will be needed to keep her in check. FFT7 is by far the biggest of the group and also has the most actual growth within her. The many heads will need some serious thought as to who goes on to be a champion and who becomes the mulch sacrifice. She has some big fans developing and will need some space to bloom I reckon. 12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

This week I decided to use mother nature and let the cheese finish off outside, currently in winter in the Southern Hemisphere with good mild temps during the day and colder evening temps that should allow the plant to go into trich production over drive before I decide to chop. Plant has been flushed as well in preparations of chop, I am torn between chopping her this week or next week, I do hope that the amber trichs don't come out all of s sudden and turn this grow into sleep medicine🤣🤣 I also have three clones left over that I am running in the tent on a 16/8 light schedule

Last time I trust autofocus because lazy... Week 8 is going good, still some burnt tips but just letting it go. The smell is too much for the carbon filter to handle at times which is a good thing. Need to start thinking about a drying setup as the left plant will definitely be done first.

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

7/31/2018 Wow 2 weeks since update?hmm. Well #1 is in training still getting Wide, about 36 sq feet..6x6 area, tops starting to stretch, I think. Feeding Tomato 🍅 tone 3-4-6 maybe a slight boost of high p guano to help transition to flowering in next week or two, we'll be at 10hours of dark. And flowering will commence.👍 08/04/2018 Pre flower starting,post some pics soon. Got the little booster i mentioned above it is Fox farms big bloom as I said a slight boost. #5 is definitely different from other plants, she is super stinky and sticky as hell, when stripping leaves. Took 3 clones for future testing.

CLAWING / WILTING LIGHT STRESS / OVERWATERING CLONES ARE LIVING THE LIFE MOTHER - DAY 92-98: • Problem: leaves point upward, curl downward - could be light stress / nitrogen or magnesium deficiency / soil pH • Solution: Switched to 450W LED, then 300W running at 25% power to reduce light stress, potentially causing clawing • Solution: Regular CaMg+ feedings in watering and foliar sprays • New LED, while less intense, generated way more heat: temp went up, RH went down • Soil dried out much faster; light watering on D92/93/94/96 -> overwatering, damnit • Growth upward picked back up on D97 • Hot temperatures probably freaked me out a bit and made me overwater, hence wilting, will wait / monitor pot weight D99: Clawing started disappearing. Seems like the 300W running at less than 25% intensity is much more gentle on the leaves. D99: Leaves feel like paper/dry / wilt -> overwatering symptom CLONES - D41-47: • A28 is vegging and growing much faster, bigger and stronger than her mother - will sample clones from her soon • A29 is in pre-flowering

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
