Day 3 of flower & these ladies are stretching great! We are having a bit of a calmag Deficiency right now but currently in the process of trying to fix it so hopefully they bounce back! The Gelato OG from seedsman is a monster to only be 42 days old not sure if I just got a good pheno or what happened but compared to the other gelato beside it from the same bag it looks like a completely different plant! Can’t wait to see how the buds turn out! Well what did we say at the start? A diamond in the rough? All that is gold does not glitter? This Xtrakush try-out by weedseeds.site is turning out to be quite the surprise and joy, I might add. Consider this: - She had 2 weeks less of growing time - Had a potmate, removed last week cause it was male, see the hole in the grow. - This seed is 1,50 dollar, her roommates at 10 to 12 dollar a seed. - See the flower growth in one week. It is stunning. - She almost covered the hole of her roommate in a week. No defoliation, nothing. This soil and light combination rocks. I think Im proving at as we go here. Overall this was a pretty smooth grow and didn’t have any issues with her. She was definitely a short and stout plant and majority of her flowers are rock hard. She did have a couple colas throughout that produced so fairly airy flowers but could of been because of something I did to her. Still very happy with the 235.9 grams of wet flower so far and while I know she’ll lose some of her weight, she still should produce a decent final dry weight.

Today will be Day 64. Getting close to Harvest Day. Let me tell you. The smell was unexpected stink up the place and outside the grow tent as I come home. I also clean the bottom up little more and removed the dead 🍁. I use Cha Ching on Week 9 and on Week 10 will be the flushing week. Stay tune!

Day 22 - Covered a lot of stuff of last night on my last comment for week 3. Added a few time lapses of the last week of grow. Took a few top leaves of the girls (4 each) to allow more light to potential bud sites; Basically where 1 fan leaf was covering 2 or more potential flower sites. Don't think I will top any more as getting a nice even canopy as it is, plenty of nodes showing Now have a humidifier in there and strengthening the feeding regimen & adding Sensizym and Fulvic Acid to the mix. Removed the flood stakes too as they were inconsistent...now just have the feed pipes going straight over the roots EC now @ 1.3 (CF13, TDS 650/500ppm, 910/700ppm scale). Will keep an eye on them as not too sure if they're sensitive to feed or the Temp/Humidity issues I was having allowed them to nute burn by closing down stomata. Also gave them a dusting with Neem oil as I cant open the tent for Daddy Long Legs (Crane Flies) or Midges flying in!!!

This week, I started using Plagron Green Sensation. Independently of that, the plant began to show slight deficiency symptoms in its foliage. The leaves became increasingly pale, and the tips started to discolor. As far as I understand, one of the components of Green Sensation is potassium. Since then, the plants have been doing significantly better. Growth has also increased considerably. However, the pre-flowering phase is still progressing slowly.Runtz has been an amazing genetic so far. The leaves look absolutely fantastic—healthy and large.Currently, the plant has reached a height of 75 cm, which is quite a lot by my standards, despite the high PPFD values of 600-700 µmol.

the week went well, it bends very well, does not break, despite the fact that it is not tall, it is very wide)

This week has been cold in the grow room with day time temps at 16c and night time around 12-13c. Growth this week has been quite slow and I wonder what has the biggest impact on growth rate. Is it temperature, light intensity or soil moisture levels? I've had the light at 25% since germination and wonder if it would be beneficial to start increasing the light levels or wait until they're more established before doing this. If anyone happens to read this and has thoughts about how to encourage faster growth, I'd be interested to hear.

Few days of drying

- I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plant. - First time I see and have pink trichomes, they are beautiful! - The hash ball was a little less than 1cm diameter and was really good :) - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar between 60 and 65% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. Veg time : 56 days. Flowering time : 63 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 119 days. Height : 81cm Pot size : 26l

Those buds are rock solid and so heavy. I can't belive how frosty they are. It is almost done now. it is a 60-70 day flower and this is 56+ days. I am watching the trichomes and will chop at 25% amber.

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

8/12 day 64 plants in smaller pots suffer a bit from nutrient deficiency. Living soil seems to fit better in large setups, anyways they will be feeded with tap water only until i chop them.
