In the third week, fertilizers are added, and the plants are lightly pruned to encourage diagonal growth. I also tuck the leaves to allow light to penetrate, and transfer the plants to the growing bed.😋

Deep Forest Auto is growing great. She has started to show her first pistils for flowering. She should be doing a lot of stretching in the next few weeks. She git some defoliation and lst today. Everything is ready to go monster size. Switched to 12/12 a few days ago. Girls are loving it!! Also after treating for bugs of some sort I let loose ab 50 ladybugs (most of which died but some are doing well) hopefully they pick through and get rid of anything left behind. Color is good but there’s a few brown spots and brown tips on a cpl leaves. Defoiled a bunch of leaves hoping it pushes all growth upwards. First time scrogging so this is all experimental for me so I hope I’m doing well! We shall see in ab 8 weeks when she’s ripe I can’t wait!!!

2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

D36. We started the sixth week of veg, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. Today, I moved the humidifier to the front and installed the scrog net. I'll let the girls fill the net before flipping them into flowers. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml/liter homemade bokashi juice. ------------------------------ D38. I gave each girl 2-5-liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml of humic acid. ------------------------------ D39. The girls are slowly filling in the scrog. I'll leave them for another few days and then flip at the start of next week. Removed a few leaves below the scrog. (I like to defoliate as I go along.) I moved the mushroom kit over to the side of the tent. No shrooms yet, but it will be more out of the way there. ------------------------------ D40. Brewed a simple compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, molasses) and gave each girl 2 liters @ pH 6.4. These ladies don't like too much light during veg, and I'm seeing taco leaves toward the end of the day, indicating that they have had enough. I will slightly drop the DLI tomorrow and see how they respond. ------------------------------ D42. The last day in the sixth and final week of veg. The girls are looking great! The scrog is a bit empty in the middle of the second girl, but I'm hoping some lower branches will fill those holes in the coming days. Healthy and vibrant, and they are ready to move on. I flipped the lights to the flower-inducing program after the girls went to sleep to give them a fresh start when waking up. The clones I took last week have rooted, and I'll transplant them into 1-liter pots tomorrow. I hooked up a drip watering system as I'll be traveling soon, and I want enough time to dial it in correctly before leaving. Finally, I gave the girls a fulvic acid foliar spray. One of their last foliar sprays as we're heading into flower. ------------------------------

She’s evolving a sweet chewing gum like smell which is very pleasant . I think she’s taking the nitrogen of the leafes since there’s not much in the soil anymore . We’re aiming for 8-10 weeks of flower so this is fine for me . Overall she’s developing nicely except the lower branches which I usually cut off when lollipopping but this time I didn’t .

The clone turned out great. Awesome smell, heavy frosty buds. Smells just like the mother plant she originated from. I did capture the light green pigment mutation, and she grew great overall. Okay, that was it, her growth period is over. My summary is a bit of a mixed bag. Sonnenerde: I liked how the plant grew in this living soil and am curious on the result after drying and curing. But so far, I'm happy with the experiment Blumat: I give up - I fell like this is not the watering system for me, despite me really liking the idea and the concept of it. To be fair, I need to check the drippers, if the membrane and moving parts are spotless, to rule out reasons beyond my wrongdoing, but I'm not too hopeful. I just don't think I'll use it again. the water hoses/pipes(?) make the whole plant too immobile, not even turning the pot is possible. I'm sure it's great for certain situations, but just not for me. Bio Tabs PK Booster+Orgatrex: This time I used a little more Orgatrex, not sure if I changed anything else, but it really made a huge difference, even bigger than in previous grows. The aroma intensified dramatically, the buds were covered in trichomes and bulked up really nicely - and all that was noticeable after a few days.
