This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! Already ordered more FastBuds genetics and will see Girl Scout Cookies with another Zkittlez for sure!!! The plants looks good, nice colour. She still accept very good the mills nutrients. TOP fertilizers. We have introduce the Ultimate PK in the mid of this week, first waterings with 12ml.

Day 41, start of week 7 tomorrow!

Back into Veg again, never Lollipoped anything before. Was tough not cropping them buds lol the few I did have to were delicious! In the big square green pot to the left of the little silver haze X critical XXL is several different cuttings off three different zkittles plants. One showing bright purple buds the other is less colourful. The silver haze X critical XXL has had the lowest branch converted to produce male sacs for seeds wasn't very successful so I'm lollypoping to try again. The other Greenhouse has my favourite large Zkittles which I had a few buds off! Superb taste. Three chocolate skunk in the same pot two smaller one where fully converted to male. Had all the best cola buds of her also delicious smoke. Aim is to cross chocolate skunk with zkittles hopefully with more success this time round!

Flowering period started, i added adv nutrients to biobizz line and i just have to understand the reaction of blue dream, i just think there is something too much. I m not sure cause i'm experiencing problems with temperature and humidity too, so i can't exactly recgnize wich is the problem now. i'll update next week hoping the problem will be solved. Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. - Ich hab die erste Woche des Biobizz Allmix Düngeschemas gestartet und gebe wie immer erstmal vorsichtige 100%, da meine Erde an sich durch den Kompost recht potent sein sollte. - Außerdem hab ich mit meinem Calmag-Rechner mein Leitungswasser angepasst. Die Werte könnt ihr auf den Bildern sehen. - Den PH-Wert passe ich ebenfalls auf 6,5 an.# - Die Lampe bringt zur Zeit etwa einen PPFD-Wert von 350 - 360 µmol/s/m² bei 18 Stunden Beleuchtungszeit (DLI von 22 - 23 mol/d/m²). Sie wird aber nur eingesetzt bis es warm genug draußen bleibt. Tagsüber stehen sie jetzt schon draußen, sofern es nicht regnet oder stürmt. Die Purple Haze macht sich hervorragend und sie ist ganz vorne mit dabei. Das freut mich wirklich, da ich die immer mal sehen wollte. Ist vermutlich nachvollziehbar. 💪😁👍
