I sheltered it from the wind and rain so that the resin didn't wash away. Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. Hey! Welcome to week four for Misty, a mystery auto from FastBuds. I update daily so go check last week which is now complete. :) Day 22: I have reconfigured the tent - see video for new config. Misty has more light now. Fertigated 2l. Day 23: I have heavily pruned the companion plants and performed some LST and defoliation (where big fan leaves block nodes, or are in the way). Pretty radical looking changes, brutal perhaps. I did it to Nesia last week and she responded very well. So let's see how Misty handles it. I have been doing increasingly tough LST since Day 7 in preparation for this brutality so she should bounce back. Day 24: See? :) Day 25: Misty had breakdrought at 0900. Fertigated approx 4l. Day 26: Trying to wait a week before further training. Day 27: Did a little gentle LST and took off 2 leaves. Didn't manage to wait a week only 4 days. Day 28: Fertigated 5l.

Day 44-21/05/22 everything is looking good I might take them out tomorrow do some light defoliation and move them about abit not sure yet!!!! . Day 47-24/05/22 they look real good today!!!!

Almost doubled her height this week since transplant! Lets see how she goes over the next few weeks.

SuperSativaSeedClub Purple Punch OG Auto Week 1 of veg These 3 little ladies are growing good so far. Not really any action up top so one can assume all the energy is focusing on its root systems. They all are relatively the same size so far. I feed them 500ml's of just Ph'd water about everyother day. All in all Happy Growing and excited to see what's to come.

Day 25 - accidentally snapped a main branch. Taped her up; She's only holding on by a thread! Day 28 - The broken branch is still alive! :) Watering with 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water every 4 days!

Popped 4 hrs after her sister #1. The most consistent in growth. Leaves are thin and medium length #3 was the slowest to pop but once she did, she shot up and surpassed her sisters in size, in about half the time it took the others.
