Start of week 6. Looking frosty but got room for more swelling i think.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. This week I have topped for a 2nd time with auto's it is a very tight window to train correctly. Now have 4 main nodes..mostly LST and light defoliation going forward

Ernie is going to likely be much stronger, with less buds. Ernie smells crazy strong, is very greasy, and shines a very vibrant blue with flash on. without the camera flash I can still see some overall blue to the plant much more the Bert. I took the ScrOG off to see what the plant would do no buds fell of but damn I see why its not a good idea. The plants do smell much stronger 2 days since the ScrOG came off and have continued to increase their smell and trichome length.

I left them in LED for a few days before harvest so i could bring out some of the colours. 10/10 smoke :)

Hi friends farm Welcome back in my garden Another week of lights and then we start rinsing the roots

GROW 😁 As you may already know, I have 2 varieties in my growroom. 👍 I have 4 pots of each species with 4 plants in each pot. So 16 plants Mother Gorilla and 16 plants Triple G. 👽 In the first weeks, the Triple G plants were the fastest growers. But since flowering, most Mother Gorillas are now higher in length than the Triple Gs. The 16 Triple G vary in length. On DAY 26 these are the various lengths (in cm) : 47, 51, 66, 71, 74, 76, 78, 81, 83, 83, 83, 85, 91, 95, 96, 102 The drastic pruning in week 2 has stimulated the plants enormously. The plants have been multiplied by 2 to 2.5 times in height since flowering -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BLOOM 😍 The plants are now busy making new flowers. The plants with the most Sativa genes do not yet have that many flowers. But the plants with more Indica genes are already working hard to string the flowers together to thick buds. The scent of the flowers is fantastic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WATER / HUMIDITY 😰 I have lowered the desired humidity again this week by 5% 👇 and the temperature is increased by 1 degree. 👆👇 The plants have made many new leaves. Every day (24 hours) the 4 pots (16 plants) get about 7 liters of water to drink. 😂 Most of the water evaporates through the leaves and therefore the humidifiers evaporate less and less water. At the beginning of the week, I had to fill the two humidifiers with 7 liters of water every 24 hours, now every 40 hours. 👌

These plants are exciting! 🤩 (Today is day 22 (from sprout with green). We have two plants here. Both are G14’s. Plant #1 we topped on day 11. Plant #2 we are letting it ride out to see what it does, but with a bit of help from LSTraining. Plant #1 is measuring around 7.5 inches but that’s on an angle as pictured, next time I untie it to rearrange I’ll try to get another measurement. Plant #2 is around 5.5in. Both are just doing great and changing daily! Even from night to day we notice a difference! Both are receiving fox farm plant food and calmag each watering. I removed those super big fan leaves today so I’m hoping they do ok with that. 🤞🏼💪🏼🤩 As I’ve said in my other journals, I take a lot of pics lol. The gas tax x obama runtz is a disappointment so far just like my skunk apple runtz starting to realize how much work legit breeders actually put in to make a good strain. The plant liked being topped it just has not hit its stride yet it definitely going to be a skiny lady The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

This week we dropped 4 testers in a mix of Posidesine(Oregon's Only) and water for 24hr. All 4 seeds went into paper towel that was placed in clkne dome with a temp of 86.5 and humidity of 99%. Pot prep as follows for all 4 seeds 3gal using Fox Farms Light Warrior Natural Seed Starter× Roots Organic Formula 707 by Aurora Innovations×Wiggleworm Soil Builder(wormcastings 3cups) DOWN TO EARTH dry amendments as follows BIOLIVE 9TBSPS AZOMITE 3TBSPS KELP MEAL 3 TBSPS ALFALFA MEAL 5TBSPS OYSTERSHELL 5TBSPS HUMIC ACID 1TBSPS All 4 seeds germinated and where potted on 11-3-19 All 4 broke soil on 11-5-19 and were watered with Recharge and Athenas Aminas Day 1 was recorded on 11-6-19 Day 2 was recorded on 11-7-19 and all plants were watered with Cytoplus, Azos, Mykos, and Mammoth P Day 4 was recorded on 11-9-19 and this strain #09 Pheno #1 was watered with Athenas Aminas

What another great week it’s been , today is Day 39 from seed an the lil ladies have jumped into preflower 😍! Yesterday gave em the trim up of the unders , kinda popsicled you can say to each one, cause we want to focus on them colas ! This week we should see some more great progress, let them caps start stacking ! Can’t wait to see what we do next week ! Hope you all enjoy an have an amazing productive day! So had to adjust the weeks in the diary but here we are day 21 week 3 and they are starting to show preflowers and I’m greeted with a faint sweet smell every time I open the tent. Grew about 3” average week over week internode distance is compact, this variety stalk is tremendous in power tried twice to start lst and both times the plant managed to straighten it self upright within hours. After some debate I’ve decided that I’ll let her be an see what happens. The stretch has started almost 3” of growth in last 3 days Water with recharge and elementXX gonna wait till day 25 to hopefully see their effect on the plants So that recharge is amazing 2” of growth in less than 48hrs made me have to adjust the light height. So from day 21 till day 25 just over 4” of height gained. Next feeding I’ll start to introduce bloom and molasses. Morning of day 27 introducing TNB Naturals and turning on the second 600w LED, plants have seen explosive growth this week, tied some of the secondary branches down to allow better light penetration. I’m excited to see what the CO2 will encourage.
