New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! Suffered a little burn, but flushed it and voila, she is back up and running beautifully. Day 18/19 she has started spitting leaves out left right and centre. Can see little calyxes and hairs coming through. Really is coming along nicely The Critical is a photo period as you know, she too is coming along beautifully. Gonna veg her for 2-3 more weeks and begin flower for 6-8 weeks. Will do more updated on it.

The plant more than doubled its size this week. I thought that might be the case but was not sure how multiple 100f degree days would affect her, but she did just fine, and even seemed to thrive. I watered the night before hot weather started with my compost tea. Two mornings later got watered deep with cal-mag water in the morning, and has been doig well without water since and I held off a day to water to wait and see if it rains. Also gpt a little top sress of BSF frass and a touch of neem seed meal to help with pests and also helped the microbes in the tea.

A busy week here in the tents. The fated week of defoliation and lollipopping. Took off a large amount and got them ready for the next six weeks. I'll only be watering and defoliating from here on our so the girl should be on autopilot. She started the frost here in week three. ❄️ Thanks for stopping by!

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Fat Banana fan leaves temperature: 28.5C Fat Banana center/middle of the plant: 30.9C Royal Critical fan leaves temperature: 27.5C Royal Critical center/middle of the plant: 27.8C NOTE: Royal Critical ugly/yellow leaves have higher temp: 29-30C The rest of small plants range from 28 and 32C Surface area/soil temperature DRY: 35C Surface/Soil temp. Today I gave them second dose of nematodes. There is really very little Fungus Gnats around now. Sometimes, occasionally one or two "teenagers" or "baby" Gnats would fly out from bottom of pot or top of the soil after watering but that's like nothing comparing to what I had at the beginning. Edit from 23th May @ 2pm So I'm reading about VPD now and I think, this is what is happening in my tent right now. High temps but RH at right levels makes the plant comfy in that zones. Right now plants sitting at 30.6C @ 55% RH So I'm sitting at 1.27 VPD? If I could lower my temps to 29C and keep RH at 55% that would be 1.20 VPD (which would be perfect) N o t B a d R o o k I e Edit from 24th May @ 11:24 am So in last 3 days the temperature outside my house is dropping + raining. So that means I have perfect VPD in my tent now. We are sitting at 30C @ 50-55% RH. Most plants have praying leaves, even Lady Banan stops being moody and just start fucking flowering like it should. So I basically just tackle the fan leaves in the way, where, when fan leaves are growing bigger, they push the side branches more to the outside (apologize for my English but you can check out the pictures and see what I mean). Well week 12 and week 2 of flower started yesterday 8/22. Other than the clones everything is looking good. But to be fair I haven't really done much with them. They're like a bastard step child, I only kept em around out of moral obligation. Lol. J/k...sort of. Nah, just some weird bumps on a couple leaves and from what I can tell it's a copper and or zinc thing so I'm gonna get some Proactive, lol. So the mothers have definitely stretched, lol. Day 16 : I'm verry confident about this plant ! Every leaf have a perfect shape and colour, she is growing well and fast. I can see new leaves appearing at nodes. I'm waiting a bit more to perform the topping above node 3, to start a main-lining, for the first time ^^She had her first nutrients feeding this week. 50% of recommended dose. I will add dirt mixed with homemade composting, just because she stretched a bit too much at the begining. I'm excitied to use my composting ! This will be the first time I'll use it for my cannabis plants. Worked well with veggies already ^^ Day 18 - 19 : I notice the plant is EXTRA happy lol. On the morning, when I take her from the dark to the outside, she's already pointing all the leaves to the sky. I was used to see this with happy plant, after some hours of lights under my led. I'm verry amazed by how much she look good ! And she is growing verry verry fast... I'm going to top her this week (so between week 3 and 4). Probably on day 22.

Heya Farmers. Lots of growth this week, as you can see in the video I had to do a ton of LST and defoliation! This strain had a lot of hype surrounding it in the community, but here on growth diaries most of the plants looked rather small and flowered after 2 weeks, I'm glad mine seems to be a bit bigger! she also already smells amazing, this early! I'm a little scared as shes still quite short, but if I can get dense little buds, I prefer that over stretchy airy sativas, so I suppose I should be happy, but still, so dense, so much foliage. Now Milky Dreams is starting to fade as well even though it looks like a deficiency might play into it as well imo but I'm not quite sure. At this point I can only repeat myself when saying that they look amazing

Lots of nutrients burn. I think it's okay now but I stress the word 'think'. The brown spots on the edges of the leaves seemed to have abated. All coming on nicely though. Autopot working wonders. The plant seems to be getting through 1.5 litres a day.

In week 7 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX tent skyrockets again due to bad outside weather (with a maximum of 79% !!!). The plants continue to grow well and the first white crowns of flower hairs (=pistils) can be seen forming on the plants, flowering has definitely started. All twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS have a healthy green color and LOVE the MILLS nutrients and the spectrum of the SANlight-LEDs. Both Q5W-Gen. 2 lamps are now dimmed to 80 % (=TWO GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON) and still WITHOUT the SUNRISE-FADE function (=ORANGE light on dimmer is OFF). The LEDs are still at appr. 70 cm distance of the canopy in order to ensure a proper stretch. The plants develop fast and have FILLED OUT the tent COMPLETELY again after being defoliated last week. On day 47 I decide to give the plants full power for flowering and change the dimmer to 100% (=3 GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON). Lets see how this works out, I LOVE how it goes so far...😍👍😎

2-1 Got her first water in new home. Was not watered in during x plant. Let her dry what she had first. 7ml EM1 will get a bigger dose soon. Just to kick things off. Around 1/2 tsp recharge, 1ml drops of balance. 1.5 ml Silica. Ph 6.0 500 ml. 2-3 Wish I would have watered 250-300. 500 was a bit much, should be fine. Looks very happy and perky. 2-4 Looks like she may have the fungus. Removed first leaves. 2-5 Peroxide spray at lights out. Slight possibility on 2nd set of leaves. 2-6 Removed 3rd set up leaves. Oh my goodness not again! Foliar spray, Canncontrol 300ml water .8 ml CannC. As a precaution. Enlisted Valiotoro, light may have burnts when lights came on from foliar. I dont remember checking. Focused more on if spread. 😂 Hope this helps. 🤞 Sad that the leaf removal will slow her down. .
