🌌 Cosmic Noodles — Week 7 (12/12 from seed) Reading the plant, not the panic First of all — welcome to everyone new joining the diary. Quick recap below so nobody has to dig through old reports to understand how we got here. This is a 12/12 from seed run, which means there is no clean, universal “flower week.” Each plant decided on her own when to flip, stretch, and settle. That context matters for everything you’re about to read. ⸻ 🌱 Quick recap — Seed to Week 7 • Germinated and flipped 12/12 from day one • Early structure built with air training + metal clamps • Focus from the start was: • Structure over speed • Roots over tops • Stability over chasing charts • Plants developed strong internodes, upright posture, and open architecture • No rushing, no forcing — just guidance By Week 6–7, structure was locked in. Which brings us to now. ⸻ 🌡️ Room conditions (current) • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding. ⸻ 🍃 LED, leaf temperature & VPD (the part most people skip) Under LED, room temperature ≠ leaf temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. That means: • A wall sensor can read 28 °C • While leaf surface temperature is often 2–4 °C cooler And plants don’t feel the room — they feel their leaves. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. If: • Room temp = 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this time Let’s be clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light distribution scale very differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t ask for defoliation — but the room does. Why we defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — I went harder than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are clearly the first category. ⸻ 🌿 Plant-specific notes (this update) 🌀 Cosmic Noodles — air-trained plant • Fully defoliated • All metal clamps removed • Structure is now self-supporting • Training phase is complete • She doesn’t need guidance anymore — just space This was a key moment: We built what we needed. Now we step back. 🌿 Sister plant • Also defoliated, fairly deep • Naturally bushy, jungle-style growth • Needed opening to avoid future congestion • Likely will need another light defoliation later — purely structural Same treatment, same feed, same environment — just different expression. ⸻ ⚖️ Nutrition note — slight Cal/Mag signal We did notice very mild Cal/Mag-related signs on some leaves. Nothing alarming, nothing spreading. Important context: • We’re running Terra line, not Coco • Terra Bloom doesn’t supply as much Ca/Mg as Coco A+B • LED + fast metabolism = higher demand We’re adjusting calmly and watching how the plant responds, not reacting emotionally. This week is about observing recovery post-defoliation. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect (and not expect) Expect: • Short recovery window • Faster vertical focus on flowering sites • Improved airflow and light efficiency • Clean structure heading into bulk phase Don’t expect: • A “stall” — these plants are too healthy • A hard flush — we reduce EC gradually, we don’t starve • Identical timelines across plants (12/12 from seed = individuality) ⸻ Final words This diary is not about perfection. I purchased a pack of 3 seeds, and one of them didn't germinate. I must admit this is discouraging, and I believe reputable seed banks should address this by providing guarantees to us growers. I'm not wealthy, and when a seed doesn't germinate, it feels like I'm wasting money. Regarding the fertilizers, they come in powder form, but I didn't see the option to measure in grams, so I used milliliters instead. The iron supplements I use are effective; I even found it strange not to have Plant Prod around here. It's a very affordable Canadian fertilizer that delivers good results. Many brands don't want you to know about this fertilizer. Look it up and let me know what you think.

Constantly taking leaves off all these girls. Trying to make space for those buds! These are some leafy genetics overall but some are starting to change color nicely for week six of flower! I checked some of the trichomes but they aren't close to ready so I didn't snap any pictures of those. But some good trichomes production from them. Got the UVB 310 in full effect right now at 4 hours. Will be boosting up to six tomorrow and continue to push for the next two weeks. Now with some updates pictures of the trichomes at day 47. Almost there!

12 days from planting. I give 350 ppm, up to 150 calmag and up to 350 A+B. Watering was only once, on the 7th day. Tomorrow there will be a second watering. Adjusting the PH level.

Things starting to smell, the buds are developing pretty good, hopefully they will put on some weight. I’m watering them every 3 days 1L each, only water and Calmag, ph 6.3

4/22/25: last flush 2 tsp of sledgehammer with 1 gallon of water used 2 gallons between all three plants…more cool colors coming in with the fade 4/24/25: fed with recommended dosage for week 11 on my schedule card (day 31 of flower) 4/27/25: watered with plain ph water at 6.8

Start of week 7, grow is going great. I think she is starting the pre flower stage finally. Lst has been going great with shoots popping up everywhere. I have been able to keep the canopy pretty even throughout.

She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

Hallo zusammen! 👋🍑 Auch meine Apricots entwickeln sich in Woche 10 genau in die Richtung, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Von Woche zu Woche werden die Veränderungen deutlicher und langsam beginnt die eigentliche Magie der Blütephase. Die Pflanzen haben in den letzten Tagen sichtbar an Masse gewonnen. Besonders die Hauptcolas werden immer kompakter und beginnen sich Stück für Stück zu verdichten. Gleichzeitig legen auch die zahlreichen Seitentriebe ordentlich zu, wodurch überall gleichmäßig schöne Blüten entstehen. Besonders beeindruckt mich in dieser Woche die Harzentwicklung. Die Sugar Leaves sind mittlerweile nahezu komplett mit Trichomen überzogen und die Blüten bekommen diesen wunderschönen frostigen Look, der von Woche zu Woche intensiver wird. Man merkt, dass die Pflanzen jetzt ihre Energie voll auf die Blütenproduktion konzentrieren. Trotz des wechselhaften Wetters entwickeln sich die Apricots weiterhin ausgesprochen stabil. Die Blattfarbe ist gesund, das Wachstum bleibt kräftig und die Blüten schieben täglich neue Kelche nach. Dadurch werden die Colas immer massiver und gewinnen kontinuierlich an Volumen. Ich bin außerdem sehr zufrieden mit der Struktur der Pflanzen. Durch das Training gelangt ausreichend Licht bis in die unteren Bereiche, sodass selbst kleinere Budsites hervorragend mitwachsen. Genau das sorgt dafür, dass sich nicht nur die Spitzen, sondern nahezu die komplette Pflanze gleichmäßig entwickelt. Auch der Duft verändert sich inzwischen deutlich. Beim Berühren der Blüten bleibt ein intensives, süß-fruchtiges Aroma an den Fingern zurück, das bereits jetzt Lust auf die Ernte macht. Jetzt beginnt die spannendste Phase des gesamten Grows. In den kommenden Wochen werden die Blüten weiter anschwellen, die Trichomproduktion wird noch einmal deutlich zunehmen und ich bin gespannt, welches Potenzial die Apricots bis zur Ernte noch entfalten werden. The flowering stage is now entering one of the most exciting periods. Over the past week the plants have gained noticeable size and density. The main colas are becoming thicker and more compact, while the numerous side branches continue stacking flowers, creating a very even canopy filled with healthy bud sites. The biggest highlight this week is definitely the resin production. The sugar leaves are now heavily coated with trichomes, giving the buds a beautiful frosty appearance that becomes more impressive every day. It's clear that the plants are now directing most of their energy into flower production. Despite the changing outdoor conditions, the plants continue to perform extremely well. The foliage remains healthy, growth is vigorous, and fresh calyxes continue forming throughout the flowers. As a result, the colas are steadily becoming denser and gaining more weight week after week. I'm also very happy with the overall plant structure. Thanks to the training, plenty of light reaches the lower branches, allowing even the smaller bud sites to develop into well-formed flowers instead of remaining underdeveloped. This creates a much more balanced plant with quality buds throughout the entire canopy. Another thing I've really started to notice is the aroma. Every time I inspect the flowers, they release an increasingly rich sweet and fruity scent that already gives a small preview of what the final harvest might offer. The most exciting stage of this grow is just beginning. Over the coming weeks the buds should continue swelling, resin production will increase even further, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how much these Apricots can still develop before harvest. With this strain being sativa dominate I expect her to stay in the flowering cycle for about 9 weeks. Week 5 of Flower

New journal with a New EcoLED 800w Draw LED light. Running a previously grown strain of Inzane in the Membrane. With the new lights ill be focusing on increasing my yield. 9 plants in a 4x4 dual level scrog. These clones have been vegged for a month or longer and have been placed into my 12/12HR flower tent. Lights are sitting stationary about 3 feet above the canopy. Plant height is sitting at Ive recently discovered some spider mites in another grow area. I do not believe they are in this section. But i will be treating the area over the next couple weeks with 2 treatments of End-All. Also will be using Dr Doom Fogger with a 7.5sec spray every 4 days for a couple weeks.

È iniziata da poco la 4°settima, sembra stiano crescendo bene le piccole😍 in questi giorni mi sono dedicato a un po' di defogliazione e di giorno in giorno cerco di migliorare LST per favorire la penetrazione della luce. Alzato il dimmer al 75% e ho allontanato un po' la lampada dalle piante e sembra stia o reagendo bene! Spero tanto di fare un buon lavoro! 💪 Ai prossimi aggiornamenti! AGGIORNAMENTO: Sono passati 2 giorni dalle ultime foto pubblicate, si stanno infoltendo per bene le piccole😍 aspetterò ancora un altro po' per mandarle in fioritura,vorrei riuscire ad occupare più spazio superficiale possibile. Sto alternando con le annaffiature fertilizzando moderatamente una volta si e una no.. per il momento sembra tutto ok!😎

Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floracion de estas Lemonpaya feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨
