Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

Germinated seed directly in finishing pot (3 gallon fabric), with fox farm ocean forest as my medium.

It was a great week for this Sour D pheno. She is really starting to fatten up now and is noticeably different after every dark period in terms of the size of her flowers. She is getting tricky to move to the shower where I normally water so she will likely not move again until she is cut. This makes the watering process more tedious but it is a necessary evil to avoid any unwanted mishaps this late in the game. I already caused her to lean a bit from swaying back and forth carrying her across the room during the last fertigation. The buds still dont have a hugely pronounced smell (like I'd expect from Sour D) or much trichome coverage but I am reassured by the fact that she seems to be a late bloomer and is apparently just starting to take off in terms of flower production. I've only seen a scant number of orange pistils so I think she still has several weeks to go. If she starts to take on that characteristic gassy smell as puts on some frost so I can press her into decent rosin, I'll be more than happy with this run when it's all said and done. Day 22 - december 26 The hydro goes really fast now we can see the difference in growth vs the soil ppm 500 Ph 6.1 day 23 water change - 730ppm day 25 i cut off the 2 top fanleaves of the hydro and soil plant wich are blocking light on the stems underneath, now both plants have 6 main stems so both plants will have the same structure. nothing needs to be cut from here its just veg a bit longer and wait for flowers. also did LST on all 6 branches each has a string on them with a pencil attached to them to bend the young stems gently as you can see in the final video of this week. day 28: the hydro plant recovered from the too light nute mix new growth is healthy again theres just brown spots on the oldest water leaves. temps are also a bit low when lights turn of (15ceclius) in the res. i put the timer of the light now at 20/24 to keep it 2h warmer.

Stable week just started 12/12, wish me luch for the first ever indoor grow!

This ladies have gone trough a beautiful stretching that has allowed them to achieve a beautiful shape with secondary branches that will develop great nugs! Stay tuned guys, very excited about this 2 autos

Week 5 and PK deficiency has been corrected. Buds are building and feeds have been consistent at the high end of the maxi-bloom ratio - 2.5tsp/10L. Hopefully the higher pk strength doesn’t create any burn issues with the other, healthy plants. Some very light pruning but generally leaving them all alone. Current choice cuts are plants 1,3,4 in terms of overall resilience and moderated nute reqs. This is an all-important consideration before we also start looking at overall aesthetic pheno traits. At least for running the F3s when the time comes. This strain is proving a little more challenging to grow than expected.

White widow has finished at 64 days. Great plant with a stress free final week. She was on just water this week and was left to dry out for the last 3 days before the chop She's only in a 3l pot of light mix that is only holding probably 2.5l so all in all I'm very happy with her wet weight. I don't see there being too much loss on this one as she drys out as her buds are rock hard dense and leaf mass is at a minimum. Back in 10 days of 18c and 50%. Thanks for looking.

********* Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from seed popping) She is taking shape more this week by getting taller colas and thinning out between nodes.......oh yeah, and fattening of buds😜😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have bowl while doing it😂 Her nodes are getting taller and giving herself room for packing on weighty buds👍 If left to one cola should be a fatty!!! But then I would be freaking about potential bud-rot....so I am cool with it. Since LST though it will be interesting to see how well she fills in six😳 She has the makings of being a good producer......its up to the grower to now to keep her happy😬 and see if she packs on the weight with roughly three more full weeks to go?? Missed opportunities in CalMag showing.😰 Left a lot of leaves and two branches that should have removed. Potassium excess contributed to by grower learning Terpinator and Massive.😰 Main stem should have been a little lower......further opportunity to improve👍💪 Got a little crazy with the PPM and felt I knew more than the nutrient company and went above the recommended max by roughly 30%😰😎😭 Yeah.......dummy! My defence.....1300 isn’t too high for Advanced Nutrients in late flower😃😃 Anyway, I screwed up and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She seemed to react well and nodes standing up and didn’t show much outwardly as signs of overwatering😬 Reviewing some of the photos this week I have seen the first small parts of a few hairs drying and turning colour.......no full hairs and not on every bud but enough to say they are first ones.......three more weeks?? Curious.....time will tell.....seen Jan 26, day 49. (49 + 21 = 70.......makes sense.) Feed will stop next week.....by end of my week 8. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush to see her in the beauty of senescence and how she matures. Run-off has been reasonable so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites looking taller. Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 950ppm and 5.6pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 3L feed in PM. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. ******this was likely the mistake feed looking back********left the ppm too high and should have added in RO water to bring down around 1000ppm! At least it seems traceable and will go with that😀 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - 2L feed: Massive @ 2ml, DF & LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 925ppm 6.2pH - Nute burn on Green Poison but Zkittlez seems fine and she is fine. Maybe a slight lightening on a few tips.... - happy and praying in the evening. Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 4L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 900ppm & 6.05pH....happy with that. - she is 28” x 28” now - Her cola growth was strong, taller for each of the 6 She is in fattening mode….feed her 😀 Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - So no surprise when you push a girl you find her limit. Tips burnt this morning.😥😔 - 6L plain RO water pH to 6.2 - Followed right away with 2L RO water with Sensyzime @ 2ml/L. - Runoff: 465ppm. - She responded very well to this and all tips were up still in the evening.....no over watering signs. - Removed about 15 fan leaves and 4 lower bud sites. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. - not falling to sleep an hour before lights out anymore either😀 Happy growing fellow enthusiasts and thanks for the time to read🙏🙏 (scrolling back through diary to update........damn.......that is a lot of bottles during these weeks!! It’s hard sometimes, resisting the urge to feed her with her waterings. But I’m by now it’s gotten much easier. I wasn’t able to do the entire grow with plain water, and maybe that was better. I can’t help but wonder if the small buds is from a lack of food or if it’s just genetics. I can’t necessarily say lack of food if I study all her leaf tips. After noticing very minimal, yet noticeable, signs of tip burn, I feel confident saying she is getting lots of food. Wether or not it was the right ratio of food is another question. Maybe there wasn’t enough phosphates? Just because there isn’t a deficiency, doesn’t mean the plant couldn’t have been able to utilized more. I might come to find these tiny super dense buds.

week was good I ran in to some problems got nutrient deficiency and some burnig on my leaves. But I fixed that by doing a nice good rinse of straight water and than fer them some good olnutes and back to good. Smell is strong and funky so strong I finally ordered a carbon filter. Well sliding into another week, I'm checking the trichomes and waiting for them to go milky, not sure if i can just check leaves for that. That's what i have been doing. I've been told i'm waiting for a portion of at least half of the hairs to go an orange/bronze color. Weird blotches become more prominent on leaves that its visible (they are just in some leaves) less than half id say around 15 - 20% and less than half of those seem pretty bad. I would like to know the cause if its nutrient lockout or a disease etc. Or perhaps its normal for late stage flowering i do not know

NOTES: Keeping pH at 5,8-5,9 through the entire Vegetation-phase. EC is now around 1,2 and i'm increasing it if needed. I'll be checking the levels regularly from this week since all of the hydroponic systems are now running. I'm going to add some ice cubes in to the nutrient tanks to cool nutrient solution a bit always when I remember to, even though temperatures haven't been an issue so far. Can't do any harm so why not I quess. I'm also adding a CO2-bag in to the tent above the plants. Also I'll begin training my plants this week by topping them. Day 22 (8.11.) Lights are set to 70%, water pumps are now on for 24/7 (EBB's drain water is on lowest setting possible to avoid drowning the roots) and pH is 5,8-5,9 / EC 1,2-1,3 on every hydroponic system. I topped all of my plants and cut off all of the lowest leafs with single tips and some of the small nodes starting from them. Day 23 (9.11.) pH-level keeps on raising so I'm gonna be measuring it pretty often. I'm correcting it by adding some pH- while filling up the nutrient tanks with small amounts of fresh nutrient solution at a time. Everything's going well and I can't wait to flower these! Day 24 (10.11.) Lights are now set to 80% power at 70-75cm height from the tops. I cut off the rest of the lowest nodes which I had left to some of the plants while topping them. I don't think they would get enough light when they are bigger. Day 25 (11.11.) Removed the lowest (three-pointed) leafs of each plant. Day 26 (12.11.) I moved the Led's a bit higher (now at ~90cm above plants) and set them up to full power. Plants are now around 11-14cm height and growing like crazy! Day 27 (13.11.) The growing has exploded and these plants are getting bigger and bigger. I'm going to defoliate them lightly and remove the lowest nodes so the plants have around 6 nodes each going forward, hopefully I'll get an even canopy. Day 28 (14.11.) I changed new nutrient solution in to the EBB-flood system which has the Ayahuasca's on it. I'm keeping the EC at around 1,3-1,4 and pH at 5,8-5,9 on every system. Also added small amount of Cal-Mag in to both NFTs.
