they are growing nicely, cant wait for the warmer weather to set in so I can plant these girls outdoors. Had a fungus gnat issue that i swatted down with some physical traps and Raid green Earth, see video for details. Also problems with 2 spotted spider mites so I deployed my troops, predatory spider mites. They should get rid of the problem for me.

The girls are moving along nicely just watering with water ph to 6.4 this week as I top dressed with Gaia green 4-4-4.Spider farmer Se7000 dialed in at 30 percent and to the ceiling.Noticed some minor deficiencies Day 12 and check soil slurry 50/50 soil/water and the ppm was at 780 lil high at this early stage and the culprit.Going to work on lowering that a bit this week.I did add a top layer of fox farm ocean forest as well which runs a little hot with nutrients rather than the pro mix.I have to remember with these beautiful auto flowers less is better :)

It’s frosty time these bruccies are putting out trichomes like nobodies business!! This update is coming in at around halfway through week 9 as I’ve been very busy recently and haven’t been able to give the girls quite as much attention but boy oh boy are they doing well. Stopped pruning and trimming of any sort, just letting them run their course now. Switched big bud for overdrive, I read online that overdrive is more beneficial for calyx production so hoping they continue to bulk up a bit before I harvest. Was under the impression that autos would be finished by week 11, leaving for a trip around that time so I will be forced to harvest the girls then, regardless of how mature they are. Ideally they would go for another 4 weeks but it is what it is, my first grow and it’s been an enormous learning experience. Just bought some 3 bears OG from the Mephisto restock, super hyped on these. Also hoping to grab a few of their new illuminautos as well when they drop tomorrow. Gotta set my alarm for that!! Really hyped on this upcoming run, learned so much from these bruccies that I’m ready to put into the Mephistos.

Everything is looking amazing! All plants are at 4.5wks -5wks old now. Growth is extremely rapid. PPMS/PH of run off is less than what's going in! Still feeding to run off daily; vacuuming out the water everytime!! They're starting to need close to a gal. each :D I have defoliated & continue to pinch lower plant growth to lolly pop each branch -- I find this the best method hands down for autos.. The canopy for the most part is even with the exception of LSD-25, Fruit Punch, & most importantly; the one GSC (fast buds) -- it is a fucking monster as you can see (tallest plant by FAR). Cant wait to see the buds on what appears to be a Sativa dominate GSC pheno -- this plant was under the same 630w's worth of CMH along with the other GSC -- because it keeps growing, and was starting to developing light burn on leaves closer to the CMH's I've since switched spots with a GG#4 & it's now under two 600w LED's; growth continues to stretch on her, but I'm less concerned now that it's under less intense lighting, with a bigger distance from the lights . Other than that, things are looking to be on track for an epic harvest. Once buds start forming, I will drop the temps on the AC gradually to bring out the colors in GSC/LSD/Fruit Punch -- with lights/fans on full blast I can hold temps as low as 70f / 30% RH with the AC at less than 50% - Will be uploading more pics this weekend!

This week has been great, I keep thinking I’m gonna over fees her but everything I give her she eats up and seems to want more.

As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!

This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Okay so pk boost and as with everything else in this grow, it’s a week behind what it really should be, so I may have hit the tropicanna poison with a PK Boost too late, where as, for the orange hill special and frosted guava it’s probably a little early but hey ho - you gotta compromise with the Autopot system if you are growing multiple strains that are really quite different in terms of gene pool. Edit: okay so it’s 4 days later and it ALMOST looks like a different plant! Its colours are coming out now. As you can see, some of the side branches pistols are turning orange and there is even some colour turning up at the edges of the swollen calyxes. I don’t think I will get too much light penetration to be honest, due to the fact that it’s too crouded in there - it’s so easy to forget how big they get when you first veg them! (Particularly as it’s my first grow in months and first photo grow in years!) Next time I will just make sure I germ the seeds at the same time - although, it wasn’t really my fault, per sé. This is definitely the most advanced plant for sure…then the NYC diesel. Edit: so I noticed that my tall tower fan broke AGAIN and so I decided to buy a clip on I think it’s an 8” one that rotates - it’ll probably stop rotating after a while but the reviews say 18 months in after having bought the product, it still works fine, just doesn’t swivel. Tbh, it’s cheap enough to if it breaks then I can just replace it - it should def last longer than a tower fan that’s been flooded with 10-15l of water! Twice! So I can’t say I’m hugely shocked… For now, iv taken the fan that is a clip on that I was using for the extraction of my drying tent - it’s surprisingly powerful for such a small USB powered fan tbf!
