I did not add nutrients this week, but I did transplant to a 45 gallon pot and added more FFOF soil. There were strong winds reaching 38-40mph; no damage due to the wind. I did notice some damage on the leaves, but this was due to a soap solution I sprayed on the plants that was too strong combined with condensation and high temperatures. I am also being careful of controlling the caterpillar population. I don't tent or screen so I have to deal with all types of insects and issues outdoors throughout the year. I want to believe that the more natural the grow, the better the final product. Final comment this week is that plentiful watering during wind and heat storms goes a long way with the plant. She can take a lot if given the right nutrition and hydration. The smell is intensifying and the buds are starting to form. A long way still from harvest...about 16 to 18 weeks approximately. Getting several monarch butterflies visiting.

Day 8 - very healthy sprout a. the roots are already into the pool, forming ladder roots b. I changed the DWC out, always from top watering you will get some gunk in there from the root riot/hydro rock dust, tends to build up on the roots, it never hurts anything, however it couldnt be good for the nutrient absorption. c. water source is mountain water, 130ppm from spring. d. TS1000 is at 100% intensity at 75cm away from the top, they love this day 9 - growing fast a. she is growing fast, and the roots are developing nicely b. keeping the ph 5.8-6 Day 10 - looking very nice a. this seedling is very healthy, strong Day 11 - growing fast a. this is a very fast plant, having to keep knocking the PH down Day 12 - growing very well a. had to move her to the corner of the tent to make way for my Afghan kush plant, it got too cold out in our barn for the Afghan kush b. the seedling is growing very well, she still gets a good amount of light Day 13 - growing well a. she appears to be growing fine despite her tent mate b. will be nice to move the Afghan out of here next week when it is supposed to get warmer Day 14 - nice environment a. the Afghan Kush and the Big Bud are friends now, lol b. all is growing well here c. video of our friendly environment

Hey guys! Another another update from my babies! (rather late, but better late than never!) 😬 This week was special. I wanted to make a better timelapse compared to what I did in my previous grow... but I didn't know what my DSLR could only charge thru the battery slot or with some special equipment. Shame on me! So even when I had limited resources I still managed to do something... so I hope you'll all enjoy it! 🙏 Besides of that, at the start of the week I changed 3 babies from their cups to their final containers and I think I did it properly! They didn't stress! Even when I might have done it a little late (if you see in the very first photos their roots were growing outside of the cup 😱). I'm happy! 😃 I also overwatered them while I was changing their container 😞. In the very last pictures you'll notice that some algae was growing (the green thing in the white rocks) so I gotta be more careful next time and use less water... gladly it doesn't seem to be causing troubles! 👌 About the 5th seed I used I fear she didn't make it... she's still inside her shell and it doesn't look like she'll come out 😭 4th one is now showing a lot of progress, even when she looks weird... so I still have hopes! Maybe she'll impress me at a later stage! 😍 I'll try to have the next update sooner! Thanks everyone! 😻

06/03/2021 Week 10 and pistils are turning brownish in color as new growth is still coming starting to get some serious smell now, I put her outside for a little fresh air and light drizley rainy afternoon will be brought back in doors to dry her leaves, and back under Iights to finish her day. Maybe trim some leaves? Hmmm. Ps. Put up 3 pics of day #5 week #10 of flower, she may go to week 12 but we will see.

this is a great auto flower she does what an auto should with little tender needed but with a decent light and good size pot the potential is great for a huge lemony harvest shes one of the easiest most resilient plants iv grown as shes not had the best run at all and has still done well she was only under the Mars hydro epistar120 with another auto and plants that I have in veg and still produced well would recommend to all growers new and old thanks to all who help comment and like and make the site a good place to be happy growing guys

Day 57 26/08/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. No plagron products as noticed burning again. (I think I'll do a run using advanced. And Plagron. Just to see what's different. ) There all showing great progress!! Divine seeds - auto Overdose, the main bud is so compact and dominant it looks great! The rest are performing well, did a decent fanning of lower two fans that started to turn in colour. Notes on plant structures , bud structures, leaf density. - Auto critical orange punch - Xmas tree shape, main colar nice and thick. Side arms - doing with LST next time would provide more decent tops. Strong structure, big fans, but bud to leaf ratio is high! Compact ball shaped buds so far. - Orange Bud - she Climbs! Tall, Long structure, I would top this strain next time, with LST next time again she would provide alot more tops. She has an even leaf to bud ratio, but the buds look fire already and there only just forming! Getting hues of blue on calyxes. Taller buds. - Auto Melonade Runtz - Another Xmas tree shape, ideal for LST, main colar bud is impressive, she just wants to stack. Leaf to bud ratio is even again, bud the buds are forming tall, with pistils firing everywhere. - Auto Overdose Wow, compact short autoflower, with a powerful punch! She is dense!! Fanse are even, thick, and balanced. Leaf to bud, even. Bud formations - dense boulders already, like mini hedgehogs. I would definitely do a SOG with these 🤩

Звучит интригующе.😏 Теперь пару слов о проращивании: обычно после замачивания в стакане воды(RO water), я проращиваю семечки во влажных ватных дисках и зип-пакете(так мне легче контролировать нужную влажность). Но при этом способе нужно следить за корнем, есть риск вростания в ватный диск, что и случилось с одной из семечек. В этом случае извлекать семечку нужно предельно аккуратно(см. видео). Видимо в следующий раз я попробую менее рискованный способ проращивания. Ах да, перед стаканом с водой я слегка подпилил семечки по острой грани маникюрной пилочкой. Итого: 23.01(вечер) поместил в стакан с водой 24.01(утро) поместил в диски 25.01(утро) появились корни 25.01(вечер) корни ≈1см. посадил в кокос 26.01(вечер) взошли На всякий случай отметим, что чуть позже взошла растишка из правой(на фото) семечки, и она же была заметно крупнее. I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/P0hn5cKZ0Z0 I cut up an old 10K shirt that was made of cotton. I had just broken down my balcony garden since it’s already getting cold here. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.
