welcome to Week 15 of our Lego Ninja Tropical Tangie Run. This week was a bit of a rollercoaster as we faced some high temperatures. Our resilient Tangie made it through, though her leaves took on an interesting appearance. But don't fret; the buds remain unaffected and continue to dazzle. She's as frosty as ever, a true beauty to behold. For the sake of our full-time lapse project, I've decided to let things ride as they are. We've captured it all, from the ups to the downs, showing the unfiltered journey of this incredible plant. In the garden, my Tangie's pH levels are at a steady 6.2, and her TDS hovers around 490. The water temperature stays at a comfortable 20°C. Sharing a bit of moon magic, I've included some photos of the recent full moon. It was an enchanting and blessed sight to behold. As always, my medicine is shared not only with my Tangie but also with my faithful guardians, the Lego Ninjas. They've been by my side throughout, offering their silent wisdom and unwavering support. Flip day 4: I have not diaries as flowering yet as they are not yet showing heads. I consider this transition period to be full veg and get a more accurate timing for flowering. once they show I will be flowering. All three have been responding well to their switch. Wedding Cake is a chunky and good sized girl now and after stretch should be my perfect grow size to room size. She will be a heavy budding girls by the look of her stems at this point. nodes are stacked closely so will stay sticky too. Black ghost. o.g has thankfully woke up a little more now she realises winter is coming and she needs some cock !!!. lol She has thickened intensely below the canopy and does have some very strong looking side branching fighting through too. Her leaves are very indica thick and dwarf her GG#4 neighbours. I can see her as a finished girl and i think she will surprise me with yield too. Gorilla Glue #4 is growing in expected and classic "skinny minney" style with her ebony looking branching and svelte appearance. She ain't fooling me as she is creeping up in size and height. The leaf colour is a little bit "veiny" but let's see how she stretches. I expect big things from this sneaky lady too. They are a credit to Original sensible seeds and so far a very responsive group. Be Safe and healthy

Two weeks!! Ladies looking great, no nutes needed so far... I've been watering every other day with nothing but voodoo juice, I might be giving them a couple weeks more before flipping them into 12/12!!

What's up growmies!!! Week 3 is in the books, today is the official start of week 4. The plants are thriving and doing well. Tropicana Cookies is showing signs of rusting on the 2nd set of leaves. I'm not sure if it's due to heavy water getting on them or a nutrient issue. It hasn't affected any other leaves so I am keeping an eye on it. 1 liter of water ph'd to 6.5 every 3 days seems to be the sweet spot for now. After about a liter I'm seeing runoff. I have been giving them a 1/1/1 mix of general hydroponics Flora series, mixed into a 3 gallon watering jug so they are getting about 1/3 of the manufacturer recommended dose. Really loved this. Nothing more to say for now lol, it's been my first grow and grew her with 2 wild dwarfs and loved both, would grow them again. Really excited to try it out.

This clone was randomly given to me and I had no setup! I immediately got her out of the growers pit into a 3L. This is going to be a simple Living Soil and Water only grow! Her roots outgrew the 3L and she began to crash as you’ll see from the pictures. This was easily remedied by increasing to a 5L.

Flipped to Flower this week. First day of 12-12 light cycle was 10/04/21 Did some defoliating half way though the week. Kept tucking taller shoots under the scrog net. Also installed a dehumidifier near the end of the week becuase I couldn't get the humidity to go below 65%.

Day 64: It seems to go well. I am still keeping an eye on the "hanging" leaves. I think they tend to hang a little more when light on, and less with light off but its hard to say if it is normal. It might be as @GrowingGrannie mentioned, they might be under watered, as there is not much run-off at the last couple of watering's, maybe 1l each time and I will give them a 30% run-off next time to be sure UPDATE: I have noticed some more brown spots on the right plant caused by Calcium Deficiency. I think I should up the PH a bit more, going for 6.5 this time. I will also increase my CalMag supplement by 50%, and do 30% run-off today Day 66: Thank you all for the kind answers 🙏 You all have different opinions, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact problem. I am almost certain that I got some heat/light stress as mentioned by @GrowingGrannie and @Chow_13. I have therefore raised the lamp and are keeping the dimmer very low, using about 140W in total. I am still investigating if there might be other problems to it. @m0use, thank you for your answer. I do not think they are thirsty, at least not any more, as I am already on the subject for the last couple of days. About PH, It was difficult to get a good picture of the PH solution, but it was light-green to green (6.5-7.0) on the picture (And that was run-off PH) and what I put in was adjusted slowly from yellow to light-green aka 6.0-6.5 (I wrote 6.25 but it was auto adjusted) @gottagrowsometime, thank you for the answer. I do not think it is a nitrogen toxicity. My leaves aren't that dark green, although they are a bit to the dark side but not like what I see on other pictures with that problem. I also think the curling is caused by light/heat stress as I just got a new lamp and are experimenting with it. But I will keep your suggestion in the back of my head! @Chow_13, thank you very much for your answer. I think you are spot on, however I am not sure it is the only problem... It might be as you say, nutrients are not absorbed correctly due to the light-stress, but I will not put all my money on that @Nugsery and @GrowingGrannie, a big thank you for your answers. The deficiencies might not be the same, but the cure is very similar. I cannot make up who is right, but I do have a plan. I will follow your recommendation @GrowingGrannie and @Nugsery, and do a flush, but with a ph 5.8 as both nutrients should be able to be absorbed in that level. I will then give her a light nutrient mix and adding PK, also 5.8 ph. This is almost the same solution for both deficiencies. I will then slowly get the ph back to 6.2 @ernesttwwg, thank you for your answer. I have known for some time I have some Interveinal chlorosis, but I do not know what is causing it. There is multiple deficiencies giving those symptoms. The tacoing of leaves, and leaf tips curling down I think is caused by the light, and I have therefor raised the light. I will keep investigating the symptoms you mention OBS: I will not edit my nutrient schema as this is only temporarily, next watering will be as described UPDATE: After flushing with 15L~ ph 5.8~ and a small feed with 5.8~ ph I still get about 6.5~ ph in my run-off water. I am going to do another flush tomorrow to see I can bring it down to around 6.0~ ph Day 67: I think I see small improvements on the leaves. The new heat/light level seem to have done something. I did that second flush and are still getting about 6.5 ph in run-off.... I think I will let her dry for now, monitoring what happens, and do another flush in a couple of days

This week I didn't spend much time checking in on the tent, but when I went to check the reservoir, which I expected to be empty, I realized that the system was clogged. About half of the nutrient solution was still in the tank. I opened the tent to check the moisture of the substrate. It was pretty dry already and the plants were showing some heat stress and the burnt tips had gotten somewhat worse. Being too close to the light didn't help either. They weren't hanging yet, but they needed to drink. It was clogged in a small part of piping between the tank and the tap, which I realized, was never actually cleaned before. And I did have some organic compounds in there a rather long time ago, which probably caused this in the first place. I unclogged it within a few minutes, and bought some Canna D Block to try out. I will probably refill the reservoir again early next week.
