Wicked start, hb is a handful of days younger then perm bluez but shes keeping up with growth so lovely to see. Week 5 Flower — Sundae Driver Five weeks from seed, Week 5 of flower. The girls are tall, frosty, and carrying real weight. Supercrop results are showing: the knuckle site on the main top is packing beautifully and producing extra fruit around the bend. Photo sessions continue while they’re still mobile, but they’re quickly approaching the point where moving them will be risky. ⸻ From seed to here — short recap • Very short veg, early flip (11/13) to encourage a quick transition. • Strong genetics: both phenos established great branching early and then stretched in flower. • Early training: leaf-tucking and one deliberate supercrop on Pheno #2 to control a “moon-shot” top, the plant has recovered and is producing strong bud sites. • Feed strategy evolved from light steering (low solution EC) while relying on the active living soil, to a slightly stronger, targeted push now that the plants are bulk-building. ⸻ This week’s snapshot (numbers you gave) • Solution EC: ~1.78 mS/cm (after adding All-in-One Liquid) • Solution pH: ~5.87 • Water temperature: ~19.6 °C • Substrate EC (measured): ~5.75 mS/cm • Plants: ~heavy, visibly bulking, good frost and early trichome coverage; leaves lush and green. ⸻ Nutrition this week — what you added and why You’ve blended the Aptus baseline with the Plagron bloom stack and added the All-in-One Liquid this week to “boost things up a little.” The working recipe (as you’ve been using it) is: • Plagron Power Buds / Power products — PK and bloom stimulators to push flower initiation and fruit set. • Plagron Green Sensation — complex bloom stimulator (PK, micros, and biostimulants) to compact and feed flowers. • Plagron Sugar (Sugar Royal / Sugar Oil) — carbohydrate/amino support to feed microbes, aid terpene/aroma production and increase bud sugar availability. • Aptus Regulator — stress resistance, cell wall strength, improved uptake. • Aptus CalMag Boost — to prevent Ca/Mg shortages under heavier uptake. • Aptus All-in-One Liquid (added this week) — a balanced liquid feed to raise available macros and micros slightly and bring the solution EC up to ~1.78. Why this mix now: the plants are in active “bulk and stack” mode. The living soil is still providing a heavy base (substrate EC is high at ~5.75), so the water feed is being used as a steering input rather than the sole nutrient source. The Plagron items are targeted to maximize flower growth and aroma development while Aptus products protect tissue integrity and uptake efficiency under higher demand. ⸻ Soil & EC notes — some important observations • Substrate EC 5.75 is high. If the plants are clean (no tip-burn, no slowed uptake, good turgor), and runoff/pH are stable, you can continue carefully. The living soil is likely holding a lot of available ions. • Solution EC 1.78 is a meaningful step up from the earlier very-low steering feeds. Because the substrate is already rich, keep monitoring plant response closely. • Actionable checks: measure runoff EC and pH after a couple of normal waterings. If runoff EC is very high and plants start showing nutrient burn/leaf edge bronzing, consider: • reducing solution EC, and/or • performing a controlled flush with target pH water to bring substrate salts down, then back to a gentler feed. • If plants remain clean and uptake is quick, the current regime is probably supporting their needs as they bulk. ⸻ Watering & environment (practical reminders) • Keep using your moisture cues (weight or probe). Don’t overwater — allow the root zone to breathe between feeds so the microbiome stays active. • Heavy bud development brings higher transpiration and nutrient demand. Expect faster run-to-run uptake. • Support heavy colas: start planning stakes, soft ties or a light trellis now. Buds are forming weight quickly and the supercropped area can benefit from light support as it fattens. ⸻ Supercrop update — why it worked and what you saw • The deliberate bend on Pheno #2 created the classic healing “knuckle” and redirected auxins to many lateral sites. • Response: a fast curve-up, faster side-site development, and an especially productive top where the bend is located. • Recovery timeline you reported: the branch started to re-orient and carry load in just days — this is ideal. • Keep an eye on the knuckle site for any signs of localized stress or moisture build-up, but good airflow and light will reduce issues. ⸻ What to expect next (and what not to expect) Expect: • Continued bulking and calyx swelling over the next 1–3 weeks. Flower stacking accelerates as plants move past the stretch. • Increased trichome production and stronger terpenes/aroma as sugars and PK feed the resin pathway. • Faster water uptake and higher potassium/magnesium demand under heavy LEDs. • Need for physical support as colas get heavy. Don’t expect (yet): • Final resin peak or full density — that usually shows from mid to late flower (weeks 6–9+ depending on strain). • Large changes overnight — bud density and terpene maturation are gradual. • No problems automatically — a high substrate EC means vigilance; problems show first in lower leaves. ⸻ Practical tips & checklist for Week 6 planning • Measure runoff EC & pH. Log changes. If runoff EC substrate EC and plant symptoms appear, step in with a mild flush and a gentler feed after. • Keep airflow and RH optimized around flowers: small increases in RH can invite mold as buds thicken. So as I'm not home this week i will just update what i did on my last day home. I added another reservoir, put a pump in it and a fill hose up into my main reservoir (which is 4 feet off the floor to gravity feed my blumat system). Installed a JB and wired in my pump and 2 level switches. They are wired in series with the switches in the normally closed position so the water level will break or make the circuit. Switch 1 is in the main reservoir to call for water and switch 2 is in my spill tray to stop a potential runaway from happening. After getting everything filled to the levels i wanted i did a test run and it worked great. Unfortunately i didn't look closely enough at the specs on the switches and #1 burnt out because it's meant for dc power not ac. My bad , so i hooked up a timer set it for 2 minutes a day as i didn't have time to fix it. I decided that it was a good time to flip over to flower and I'm going with 13/11 lighting schedule see if there's any difference. Happy growing

1/14/24 - Day 68 - Hello and welcome to water change day!!!! Another easy water change in the books. Currently, the nutes are being applied and mixed. Something I have been adding this entire grow is the root armor. It's an additive to the water, it takes the naturally decomposing organic material from the roots and turns it back into nutrients that the plant can use. I have used it every week thus far. The last grow I forgot I got a small bottle of it. I was able to purchase a much bigger bottle for from the Leaf store. That's one more thing that's awesome about the Leaf box. They have EVERYTHING you need to grow and the pricing is fantastic. 1/17/24 - Day 71 - Everything is looking great. I'm noticing the buds are starting to grow outward and get bigger. Its also getting much smelly in there! Ill keep updating with pictures every few days.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Its that tome of the grow its time to flush and this time i'm trying a new product, its called flawless finish and i can wait to see what the results are. also so everyone knows i am using tap water and it has a ppm of around 500. As you can see the buds are nice and fat and the trichomes are right ware i want them. The flowers are starting to change color and i hope they will continue to change. On a side note the all red light that i have been using for the last 2 weeks seams to be working out and the flowers look the be getting more trichome coverage. Harvested waiting to dry

Not much sun this week so things have been slow. I took 4x dos si dos cuttings and 4x mimosa cuttings for my next indoor grow as I figured it would be better to grow from a mature plant cuttings over seed started plants.

Started LST in the 3 younger plants but I messed up on the Sweet Cheese, I wasn’t expecting such a weak main branch and it completely broke when I was trying to bend it 😣

April 25, 2020/Day 15: I applied LST/tipped her over today and defoliated one leaf. April 25/Day 16: EEEEEeeee I watered with the wrong container, giving her tap water, fresh out of the tap. Chlorinated and all. :D I chased it with 2 litres of proper 6.5 PH. April 27/Day 17: Defoliated 2 leaves and reapplied LST. She is growing like ground coverage, especially after LST. :D I think it's safe to plant a third seed in my small tent. She looks small. Maybe she will surprise me and start taking off in growth. :) This is the smallest plant I've seen at Day 17. May 1 @1pm/Day 21: Topped her at her highest point May 1 @ 11pm/EOD 21: Defoliated 4 more leaves and applied LST to all of the tops

I cut another part of the girls, and the total is even greater than the first part! We wait another week for the final sums, but right now the flavor is unique.

Hello growers day 44 and she is now in the tent she’s been in there for 6 days now and nearly double in size I think she’s happy now it was getting cold at night I check her earlier and see her first pistols 😃now that they are arriving I put top max in the feed with every thing else should have some buds soon that’s all so until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

End of week 6, Day 42 and all is going well. Did another defoliation 3 days ago and they bounced back nicely again. Started to lower the light schedule to get ready for 12-12. Currently at 15 - 9 going to 14 - 10 for Saturday , 13 - 11. Sunday and 12 - 12 on Monday. Let’s go Flower, been waiting patiently for the switch.
