This week did not go too well. The plants started being more and more droopy and barely grew, which you can clearly see in the time-lapse. I initially thought they were sitting in coco that was too wet, but drying it out did not help their case. I had already wanted to transplant them at this stage, but didn't have the right pot size available yet due to a late delivery. Then, at day 13 from planting the seeds, I received the pots and immediately went on to transplant them into wet buffered coco in 1 liter pots. They instantly recovered and have been doing great ever since as you can see in the last picture. Starting from the transplant, I have been feeding them with 0.5-0.7 EC water, a bit more than half of that made up of calmag, the rest coco A+B and rhizotonic. One is showing a slight calcium deficiency, weirdly enough. Especially as the coco was buffered in a 1.2 EC calmag solution for several days before use. Will keep an eye on this and might give some extra calcium as a mono nutrient. For now, next week looks promising. This update is a little late, so I can tell you that by next week's update they will look much better.

Quebec Blast grew pretty well. Buds are rock hard and frosty. She is not known for large yields so I am very satisfied with my results I learned a lot during this run. Was first grow with photoperiod plants in DWC. I grew her underca Spider Farmer SE5000, in a New Level Hydro bucket. She came out great. Started to foxtailing at end. My room was getting too hot. I will be waiting to try it for sure. Definitely one of my favourites this year.

By the third week of flower we are getting excited because we see the buds really bulk up. It is early on and we are seeing these top nodes take shape into colas. Here is the work put in this week: -Prepare each plant with 1 gallon of lukewarm water with 3 tsp Big Bloom, 2 tsp of Grow Big and 2 tsp of Tiger bloom. Oh and 5 mLs of Cal Mg. -pH the water to 6.5 and pour. -Shop Vac runoff. -Before tent lights turn on at 7AM, spray all 3 plants from top to underneath to the bottom to top of soil with GrowSafe. If you don't know what it is, look it up. Here is the solution concentration: 3.75 mL GrowSafe in 1 cup of H20. This is a preventative measure ;-) Then after that it is cleaning up the lower growth on the stems. Some people call it Lollipoping. I'm leaving virtually all fan leaves above 1/3-1/2 of the way up the plant. I tightened up the plant arrangement as well by placing them in a triangle shape. I believe this will help the two plants that were living at either end of the lights (where the light might not have been ideal) closer to the center. Now each plant has an even amount of light exposer. I also adjusted some branches with foam garden wire in such a way that evens out the height and width of canopy. The sour diesel buds grew the quickest at first. The do si dos buds are stacked under a lot of leaf growth. And the gelato buds, which started out as the smallest and slowest growing, sped up by the end of the week, almost catching up to the size of do si dos's buds. Thanks for reading my post :-) -

I was not home half of this week. The buds getting really fat and full of trichomes. About 60-80% of pistils are orange now Wierdly some of the leaves are dying

Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is developing very well. 2 g of Bio Bloom from GHSC were added last week, which is repeated again in week 3 with 1 g. The small white dots and stones that you see everywhere on the plants come from the release of the ladybug larvae and the beneficial insects against tripe and spider mites :-) I hope they will do their job well 🙏🏻 . 2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Shes stays nice and short and bushy which i like defo shell we do good with some LST but ive left her on her own to do her things very sticky and smell rather gassy not so much purple thou but maybe in another week or two we mite see some colours 💪🎄🍀🔥💚

Chopped on day 79 Dried for 8 days 6.14 Oz of flower

Day 133 - 24.09.2020. So I had to boot this lady back to an outdoor grow. She started throwing bananas already even though we are a while away from harvest. I read a fair amount about it and opinions vary from leave it, to remove it so it does not affect your other plants, to chop it down. So I have removed her to be on the safe side. I also picked as many of them off as I could (after spraying them with water). She looks happy outside though. Day 137 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. She is doing well. Still lacking a lot of bud growth, but they are nice and dense so far. She has a bit to grow. I have started with compost teas as I am anyway feeding teas to my other plant. This will hopefully boost her nicely.
