At day 20, I can see that the strech phase is almost over. The girls are now expressing a more specific nose, even if they share a similar aromatic profile of exotic fruits. They all share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene), but some of them (#2 and 4) got a solid punch of sour lemon. I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

Mentre l'altra sta andando ancora con overdrive per questa settimana. Odore pazzesco, una corsa lunghissima dovuta a errori di ec per metà cultura.. Ora non si sbaglia più 😎 non vedo l'ora.

Day 63 This plant is clearly behind the other Frostbanger . The buds are forming but they’re lighter and not as dense, and overall she just doesn’t have the same strength. I’ve noticed the leaves showing signs of calcium and magnesium deficiency for a while now – rusty spots, interveinal yellowing, and some crispy edges on the older fan leaves. Even after adding Cal/Mag supplements, the damage on the lower leaves is already visible and won’t recover, though the new growth looks a bit healthier. Despite the issues, the plant is still pushing through and producing some nice flowers. The pistils are starting to change color and a few trichomes are cloudy, but she’s definitely not as frosty or swollen as the stronger plants. The smell is there, just not as intense. I’ll let her go to see how much more she can develop, but I don’t expect the same yield. At this point it’s more about finishing her properly and learning from the deficiency for the next run.

The DoSiDos is still growing more pistils daily. The buds are swelling very well and it looks like she still has a week or 2 left before harvest. The humidity in the tent is a bit high (56%) so I moved the de-humidifier in the room to keep it below 50% and prevent budrot. The smell is just great, and still getting stronger each day as she matures. Because the DoSiDos is still growing quite a few white pistils, I have added a 40W red Led to the tent. The red light should stimulate the DoSiDos to speed up the blooming. Trouble in paradise this Saturday.I noticed a strange looking brownish leaf in the main cola. On further inspection it was full of budrot 😱. Luckily it was the top part of the main cola and I managed to keep most of the plant and none of the other buds had any mould inside. It's a real shame, but this can happen when experimental manoeuvres like dragging your plant inside again in the late stages of bloom. Well, let's see if I can keep her in one piece for at least a week more. The trichromes are still mostly transparant so she needs more time to mature.

Day one week 3 - 22 June 2024 So out of our initial grow in the grodan blocks just the Northern Lights and Girlscout Cookies from Zamnesia seem to be doing well and can be Transplanted, Our Power Plant Autos and Sugar Bomb Punch seem to have undergone too much stress to start off well, I am going to transplant these in other fabric pots and continue them outside. Our new pots with our old school style growing method have flourished! Started on the 19th of June and all 5 Sugar Bomb Punch seedlings look healthy and on their way to being strong ladies, so is the Northern Lights ladies and the Girlscout Cookies Lady that's ready to be transplanted. We also have Wet OG here in the Tent and the Two Fuller ladies in the back are our Banana Kosher Kush from Mutant X Genetix. This is all their day 4 and more than likely I will start a brand new diary just for them. As I keep them domed during this initial phase and give them just enough water for our roots to grow healthy let's see how they keep prospering Let's see what the next week brings.

Flowering Day 35 I’ve starting steering vegetatively this week which means less stress on the plants to increase bud size. Watering has been frequent with low EC. Lower VPD along with other veg crop steering techniques used. Buds getting bigger every day

I am dropping a Deep Forest Auto for a coco coir grow in a air pot. First time using a air pot. It should not be any different then using a fabric potter. I scuffed both seed ends lightly. I then dropped it in water. Within 24 to 48 hours of seeing the tap root start I will plant it in the coco. I will then dome it till sprout. Day 36 I've just tightened up the LST and watched them grow. Tomorrow I'm gonna feed them cause the soil is dry enough. At least 10cm beneath the surface. Day 37 I've watered each one of them with: -2L pH 6.2 water at 20.5°C with -1ml/L Biobizz Top-Max -2ml/L Biobizz Bio-Bloom Run off was 700-850 ppm pH 6.3 Day 38 I've just watched them. Day 41 I've adjusted some LST and a little defoliation again because they are stretching now Even if they look a little bit small I'm happy so far with my first grow. Purple purple purple! I want to keep her going until the entire thing is purple but the trichomes are mostly amber and without side lighting the bottom buds are just not developing fast enough comparatively. So rather than make the experience just be me falling asleep every use, I'm going to opt to chop her tonight or tomorrow probably. It's been 4.5 months and I need to get the tent set up and make this bucket 100x better!

So she is putting enough size to start training in the next few days. Things are going well so far no deficiencies yet. Preflowers are showing and now that she is ready she is showing sex. Never trying something tiny like this I am happy that there have been no issues so far. Let’s see what happens in the next week. I know water is going to start being an issue as I am watering 2-3 times daily now. Until next week, may your buds be frosty and have a happy thanksgiving.
