Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. The week went well. She has a funk to her now that as soon as I kill the fan it smacks you right in the face. Some of the pistils are beginning to amber. Just waiting for her to fatten up and finish. I believe this will be my biggest producing auto yet.

D35- PX, the lady double in height this week with lot of stretching. The fimming gave me 3 tops, hopefully they will stretch still to get nice height and good spacing from bud to bud. I like how she is growing and Im happy with that I didnt break her like the first I grew. The budsites are multiplicating and the lady seems to be healthy. D35 AHO- The lady is outside to give her some natural light, I will let her grow outside for the entire grow from now. She seems to love the sun, She was at 13,5' before I bend the main to let some chance to the side branches to get some height. She is growing nicely too and budlets forming everywhere. From now I think the output will be slighty lower thn the Px cuz she is smaller, but lets hope Im wrong and they will do great both of them. Hey all! This was a crazy week. The girls continued growing up and have reached 30" (CBD+ and Moby Dick) and 23" (GG #4), pretty much outgrowing my vertical space. I removed my carbon filter (which was clogged and needing maintenance anyways) and pushed my LED lights all the way up, allowing CBD+ and Moby Dick to stay 7" away and GG#4 12" away. Although the LED manufacturer recommend a distance of at least 14", the girls seems to be liking the strong light and have not shown any light burns. One of the MD colas is only 4" away! ~~ Defoliation I've finally gained courage and heavy defoliated the girls (Schwazzing style). I removed one fan leave in each node + top leaves that were creating lots of shade. I'm looking forward to see the results of this so much controversial technique! ~~Feeding Since GG#4 presented some nut burns, they received only one scheduled feeding plus one "watering" (only Cal Mag, Florilicious Plus, and Molasses, Ph = 6.0). Next week I'll come back to the normal feeding schedule.

Overall grow cycle was easy,strain reacts very good to topping and will work great in a scrog,smell tastes and effects are on point,more sativa to it.

So the weather has finally cooled down and it has rained for the first time in weeks. The buds are all developing nicely and fattening up. The buds are ripening well and harvest time will be coming soon. The older leaves are starting to yellow and the first signs of senescence are showing as well. The plants are all sticky and smell very nice. Looking forward to the end result. Happy growing.

Fast Buds Run Light at 75% and will stay like this for the coming week. Scrog net will also be installed this week. 09/04/24 - 2L RO Water with Cal Mag Xtra per plant. 11/04/24 - 3L RO Water only per plant. 14/04/24 - 3L RO Water with Nutes per plant. Notes : 08/04/24 - Scrog net was installed, will continue to adjust branches this coming week. 11/04/24 - Was seeing leaves a little bit on the dark side so fed only plain water 6.5ph, next feeding will be with nutes again. Re-arranged scrog net a bit more to open up the canopy a little bit more. Overall plants looking happy and all of them have now gone into the pre-flowering stage. 14/04/24 - Plants are doing really well in the pre-flowering stage and are really streching now. One last strech befor they go into full flower.

This plant is just gorgeous! She is really starting to develop nice bud sites. My super soil mix is keeping her super healthy and happy!! I keep making sure to stay on top of her as far as treating her with OMRI fungicides. I made the tough decision to chop down my Mango Sapphire this week as she had a lot of powdery mildew starting. It was too close to this lady and decided the risk was too great. I can’t wait to see what another week brings!! Onward! 😎🔥🍻🍿🌱

Hi guys! long time no see. its been a long journey this pass year thinking about popping some beans. Well the day has come, i couldn't take it any longer. If you've followed my previous diary, i was waiting for this house I'm living at to sell but its been slow since march and i really feel like its going to be on market for a while with going price. Im taking a gamble here and if it does happen to sell i got 60 day or so to move out and i think worse comes to worse i got a friend who can transport them safely and care for them while i move. Lets get this going !! Femenized M39 Granddady ( m39xGranddaddy purple ) I'm very eager to see these girls grow big ! They are currently substrate germinating. I bought 5 from Q.C.S and they threw in 4 Quebec White Feminized seeds which i donated to a friend who hasn't planted them yet. Very satisfied with the packaging Q.C.S provided and the bonus. Eager to see you guys follow these girls through their life ! Thanks for popping by. Edit: I was using a no name peat I had laying around that had dried out, I picked up an organic micro active pro mix peat today and fished out the seeds. They had successfully germinated and I picked them up with tweezer ever so gently and placed into new smaller cups. I think some may frown and say I should have left them but the tap roots were only like 1cm just coming out. In my opinion no different than grabbing em off a wet paper towel. I just wanted them to have best success at growing strong with healthier medium. I have faith i did the right move for better seedlings. 8) see you guys when we have life appearing outside the cup :D we also plan on doing this whole grow Organic. Will be my first time all Organic Day 4, Seedlings are emerged and strong. Light is set to 21 inches from the seedlings. Ive mixed the live soil two weeks early and will continue to stir daily. I fed the live soil ( pro mix organic ) Gaia Green 4-4-4, Epsom salt at 1 teaspoon per litre. and black earth.(documented in a book ) with home made fruit and egg shell compost. eyed up a 1:3 ratio of perlite. 1:3 Worm casting. I gave the soil a treatment of Monkey Juice microbes. Should be some very healthy soil when it comes time to use it. PPE arrived aswell, not taking chances with contamination this time as it made my last grow very challenging. Added a clip of grow room im using. Fresh air induction and exhaust running to outside the house with a carbon filter installed.
