Semana 8: La Grease Monkey está en modo bestia esta semana. Los cogollos han seguido engordando con fuerza y cada vez se ven más densos y cubiertos de resina. Las flores principales ya empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y brillante que promete potencia, mientras que las hojas cercanas están totalmente salpicadas de tricomas, como si las hubieran rociado con azúcar glas. La alimentación sigue basada en XpertNutrients, sin cambios drásticos. Solo he ajustado mínimamente las proporciones para no frenar el ritmo que lleva. El riego sigue afinado al detalle: lo justo para mantener activa la microbiota del sustrato y evitar saturaciones. Los Adlite continúan haciendo un trabajo brutal. La penetración lumínica está ayudando a que incluso los cogollos de las zonas medias e inferiores mantengan una buena densidad. Todo el dosel está funcionando como una unidad, lo que se traduce en una floración muy equilibrada. Las condiciones ambientales siguen bajo control: 22-25 °C de temperatura, y humedad en torno al 55%. Estoy reforzando la ventilación para prevenir cualquier susto ahora que los cogollos empiezan a cerrarse más. El aroma se está volviendo todavía más intenso: una mezcla cremosa, dulce y con ese fondo diésel que le da el toque agresivo típico de esta genética. Los tricomas siguen lechosos en su mayoría, con alguna señal de maduración incipiente, pero aún no es momento de pensar en tijeras. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Well Into flowering at this point. Still working with my ratios with adding my new advanced nutrients micro grow bloom to my feeding schedule. think I started a bit on the lite side. Had a bit of a deficiency when I came back to check the progress. Was using at half strength so I upped it to full strength. If anyone has any advice or questions it’s always welcome :)

2/1/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 1 I have 21 weeks until final photo is do.. I took 3 seeds out of cold storage and will let them get to room temp for the next 48 hours before I go with Glass of water for germination. I have 3 beans because I will start from the very beginning helping ensure I present the best Pheno. This is going to be a fun one.. I am a few days away from being able to clear my tent out for this run.. I have a breeding run in right now and the Seeds are a few days away from being mature enough for me to take down the girls. Once I get them down I will need to get my tent cleaned up and turned over right away. This is going to be close, I will have to time them to the water and into the tray at the right time.. because I will need to get lighting on them right away.. I have my 2X2 and my light ready incase I need to hold them in the cloning machine if the others are not done in the next few days.. Glad I have options that can stretch me out for a week or 2 to give me a little more time. 2/2/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 2 I checked on my breeding run to see how close the seeds are and if the tent is ready for me to clear and clean but alas I am still going to need a few days. I setup the emergency 2X2 and that should give me 2-3 weeks. The plan is to still wait one more day to allow the beans to warm up to room temp and then drop them in Water sometime tomorrow. Form my Emergency 2X2 I have the following: 4" inline fan and carbon filter Fan VS-2000 light 2/3/2024- Germination Activities Day 0 - Dropped the Beans in.. Today is 0 day.. Go.. Go .. Go.. 2/4/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-1 - Checked in on them this morning and no tap roots yet.. covered them back up and back in to the closet they went. I setup the Root Riots and the Seed tray for them. I Ensured my water that I was soaking the root riots in was PHed to 5.8 and I used RO water. Afternoon Update: Checked on my Breeders and they are done. I started to harvest them, I took down the one I had reversed with STS and I took down the Black African Magic- All but one bud, I wanted to get some pics of that one today. I was only able to get 2lbs into the Cannatrol because I had to be very careful to keep the bud from the plant that was treated with the STS separated from the other seeded bud that was pollenated from the plant I reversed. Cannatrol could have held an additional 2oz of wet but not today. Ideally I need 1 more Cannatrol so I can take an entire Tent, but will figure that out. I put an additional 1.5lbs into the freezer to wait it's turn into the Cannatrol, I would have left it on the plant and taken it in 4 days when the dry cycle gets done but wasn't sure how much 2.2 lbs was equivalent to chopped and wet trimmed. 2/5/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-2 - Checked in on them this morning and 2 of them have very small tap roots out.. one still doesn't going to give them some more time. I will check in on them this evening and see if they are more open if so I will transfer the ones that are ready to their medium and seed tray. 2/6/2024- Planting Day TRUE Germination Day 0- Checked in on them this morning and all 3 of them have tap roots out. I broke the bottom of the tap root for #1 which was the biggest.. pretty sad.. I hope she survives.. I tried to be careful it just snapped off when I was trying to get it in the root riot right. Other than that all three are now in their in-between home in the 2X2 while if finish clearing and cleaning out their forever homes. 2/7/2024- Germination Day 1- Checked in on them and no surprise no sprouts yet. Sprayed the dome to moist it and light spray to the tops of the Root Riots. 2/8/2024- Germination Day 2- #3 is popped and it looks like #2 will be popped by this evening.. I got my second Cannatrol today so now I can take down the rest of the tent and get it into the dry/cure. 2/9/2024- Germination Day 3- #2 is popped as well.. so I have #2 and #3 up and still waiting to see on #1 but that might be a loss since I accidently broke off some of the Tap root when transplanting. 2/10/2024- Germination Day 4- #1 has Popped... We have ignition on all 3.. YAY!! I finished clean up and install of RDWC system, this time was unique the back left buckets 3 inch pipe wasn't seated correctly so I had to clean up about 12 gallons of water all of the floor. I also had two leaks coming from one of the Waterfall return junctions, this is why I do a full pressure test before I put anything in. I will continue to monitor it through tomorrow to ensure that I am good to go and then I will finish setting up the baskets and prepping the water to be ready for the ladies planting day!!! 2/11/2024- Germination Day 5- #1 Of course is going to be my trouble plant.. No matter what If she lives through planting in the system and making it, I think I might not cull her at all regardless, she has been such a problem, makes me wonder if she will be super worth it towards the end.. We will see as we go through this grow, but #1 has a piece of the shell on the leaves, Other than that I set up a new thing I have been doing since last grow converting my Baskets into Sure plants so I can see exactly where the water is when I plant them and ensure I have the water up high enough that they are able to access it and grow but not too high were they are drowning. 2/12/2024- Germination Day 6- Everything seems to be going good.. will just keep them moist and let the roots grow for a few more days before I transplant to forever home. 2/13/2024 - Germination Day 7- Just keeping them Moist. 2/14/2024 - Germination Day 8 - Planting day.. they are now in the system.. :-)I had to fill the water to the bottom of the basket where I could see water on the bottom rocks and just coming up where I had created my whole/ sure plant. 2/15/2024 - Germination Day 9- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water. I ensured the PH is right at 5.98-6.02 range. 2/16/2024 - Germination Day 10- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water.

Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

Buenos días familia, de nuevo os traigo esta esta 5 semana de floración de nuestras green ak xL de zambezaseeds. Una está algo bloqueada y no quiere comer nutrientes la otra ya va mejor y si come. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Una cepa bastante difícil de dominar muy sensible a los cambios, pero que seguro bien cultivada dará todo de sí, xL su nombre lo dice.

I did some LST. It is a very open plant i think this is from her sativa haze parents. Also did some defoliation. Her main cola is really stacking up very nice. i hope and think this is going to be a nice huge main cola. You can see the difference in genetics really good compared to my DP plants. Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom. The Blue Gelato 41 is hard to tell. Lots of the plants are below the second trellis. The one that sits above looks. Like will have a big cola. I should have prunes slightly more, but noted for next time.

91 Grapes day 80; Well for a plant that is supposed to grow a 65 day from sprout she still has some time left to finish. Buds are stacking in true chem91 fashion super dense and chunky but the smell is nothing short of downright grapes, it’s the same smell of grape koolaid when you tear into a package, or a grape pixie stick. Trichomes are getting thick and buds are covered in the grape residue not complaining mind you. She is showing signs of some sort of illness, or nutrient imbalance but she is in mid to late stage of flower development so just going to water her and see what happens, let her grow. Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz her flowers are on the airy side of things but they do continue to fatten daily so time will tell if they will harden up. Trichomes are in abundance and cover everything. And smell,my goodness she stinks, it’s a sweet smell very perfumie kind of thing going on. Her branches are starting to sag and will need some support before next week’s update. Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey. I can’t express enough how upset I am about the rodent encounter that almost caused her demise. I suppose I should be grateful that she is still here with us and she can grace us with her beauty.
