Start of week 9, getting fat

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Holas familias de nuevo.esta tercera semanaNo hay ningún cambio en cuanto a lo climático, temperaturas de 26 maximas y 20 de mínimas y humedad 40% mínimas y maximas de 70%.( el problema vendrá cuando cambiemos a sodio). Eso si crecer van creciendo a buen ritmo , las más lentas son las power plant xl. Esta semana las aguante en tiestos pequeños, pero en nada trasplantó a los 7 L y las pasamos a floración conforme cambiemos Al Sodio

At Day 12 I transferred the seedlings in pots. The auto strains were moved in their final pots(~10L) whereas the Cookies Gelato were moved in smaller pots(~6L).

The flowers start to swell, next week might start the overdrive for the extra weight

Still some issues with black flies as they keep coming back despite of the nematodes. I'll treat the soil with nematodes again this week. It doesn't look like it is affecting the plants anymore but I don't want them ending up in my stash 😉. The plants are looking very strong and healthy, growing even faster than last week. Still not sure at this point if I want to do LST or just let them grow. According to the strain info this ladies can grow up to 135cm inside so it's probably a good idea to do LST at some point. I'm also cutting back on the Alga Grow this week to prevent excess nitrogen in the blooming stage.

Entering week 10 and she is still pretty fluffy pistils wise. Gradually fattening up and looks like she has a good two weeks left. Seeds developing nice. Noticed the pollinated bud produced trichome's shortly after being pollinated, quicker then the surrounding buds. Waiting for the other buds to ripen up. They are still filling in and getting bigger. Still easy couple weeks out.

So we have one in week three of flower and the other is currently still in veg do to vegetables and other #AUTOs started for friends. It’s going to be interesting to say the least having that hydro in flower will be insane, almost need to remove half in clones just to be able to maintain. From what I’ve from her sister the stretch is easily manageable. Cheers to good Budz & Buds

Not sure what's up with the 2 plants I decided to do this journal with. As my luck would go they are 2 of 3 critical purples that absolutely refuse to flower..Here is a side by side picture of what i mean. I have 5 of this strain and x3 are acting like any other photo I've grown. I took the liberty of super-cropping the 3 I mentioned, however my Gorilla Glue/GWS and x2 of the CP all seem on track and starting to stack up :) *DAY 64 - Deer or rabbits.... after my initial panic I discovered that they weren't hurt too badly

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….
