Another week in the books

Semana 9 y estimo que la próxima será la de cosecha, ojalá en el día 75 o algo así. Ya veo los tricomas lechosos y en menor cantidad ámbar, por lo que estimo esa fecha para el corte puesto que luego de cosechada la planta sigue madurando debido al proceso de secado/curado, huele muy bien y luce genial // Week 9 and I estimate that the next will be the harvest, hopefully on day 75 or something like that. 27.07.: Zu Beginn von Woche 6 habe ich mich dazu entschieden die G41 an dem Großteil der Triebe zu topen. Dadurch erhoffe ich mir einen buschigeren Wuchs mit mehr Trieben und mehr Zeit für die PBB in Größe aufzuholen. An den Schnittstellen, wo die Pflanze getopt wurde ist an einigen Stellen ein roter fast blutähnlicher Saft ausgetreten. Ich hab vorher noch nie gehört oder gesehen, dass das passieren kann und weiß auch nicht woher das kommt. Die PBB brauche ich nur kaum zu trainieren, da benötigt die G41 mehr Zuwendung. Da die Pflanzen größer und die Töpfe mit der Zeit immer trockener werden, verlängere ich die Gießzeit auf 5 min. 28.07.: Heute sind mir zum ersten Mal die Stempelhaare an der PBB aufgefallen. Sie ist also schon bereit für die Blüte. Ich denke, das liegt daran, dass die PBB eine fast flowering Sorte ist. Sie muss aber noch warten, bis sie ihren Platz vollständig ausgefüllt hat. 30.07.: Beide sind gut gewachsen. Die PBB konnte gut gegenüber der G41 an Höhe aufholen. Jetzt sind sie fast gleich groß. Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu machen oder bemerken. 01.08.: Zum Ende von Woche 6 habe ich das Scrog Netz installiert. Die kommende Woche werde ich die Triebe immer wieder unter das Netz stecken, damit niedrigere Triebe aufholen können und ein möglichst einheitlicher Wuchs entsteht. Bei der G41 gefällt mir die Anzahl der Triebe schon sehr gut, bei der PBB ist noch Luft nach oben. Ich befürchte allerdings, dass bei der PBB nicht mehr sonderlich viel passieren wird. Nächstes Update ist dann in Woche 7.

All the side shoots have now been directed and I hope that she will now grow nicely upwards 😅 Sherbet is my queen in this grow so far 🌞 It's just fun to watch the beauty grow. To start the fourth week, I removed some leaves today and directed the shoots in the right direction, otherwise Brucie will soon be completely overgrown 😂 but hopefully it will also have the effect that the good energy of growth will now go in the right direction.... Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

Its day 25 since sproud and the plants are looking good so far. The jslow stress training with the clips works as expected and the branches are getting thicker and more robust. Defoliation on day 34. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

Buuueno, engorda bien como pelotas de golf, problema? Que por lo que voy viendo, la critical aprecia mas ir de menos en la comida, que venirse arriba, y... Bloqueo con sobrefertilización. Creo que hay algun bloqueo que no permite bien la absorción de magnesio y de ahí las hojas amarillas, igualmente iré viendo con el tiempo, todo es prueba y error. Un poquitin sad por estar siempre al puto pie del cañón y que por cosas incontrolables como la altas temperaturas, surjan otros problemas como bloqueos y tal cual pascual, una mierda todo, pero bueno, la planta se sigue viendo biien, los pelitos blancos siiguen ahí creciendo y los cogollos siguen engordando. Ya llegará un dia que saque una cosecha perfecta xD para proximos cultivos también cambiaré el metodo de fertilización y me tengo pensado hacer un supersoil organico. PD: IMPORTANTE, voy a poner datos que no solía poner por la "dificultad" entre muchas comillas ya que es dificultad por una situación especifica, de sacar y es que como antes comentaba, habían bloqueos y tal... Bien, he medido el agua de drenaje de cada planta. En esta los valores de ph estan mas o menos bien, peeero la EC era lejia viva! En esta planta el ph era de 6.24 y la EC era de 12.1 MILISIMENS! que no microsimens... Una toxicidad altísima! Muy similar a las otras 4. Básicamente mis riegos eran por lo general 2 a la semana, uno de fertilizantes base con el especifico de cada fase que toque, y el segundo riego era de encimas con normalmente calmag (fertilizante muuuy salino) y a eso le juntamos que normalmente los riegos eran justitos, normalmente no había drenaje, por lo que las sales en el sustrato se iban acumulando hasta estos puntos. Hoy, tras varios dias de dejar secar las macetas, incluso buscando un poco de estres hidrico, he metido un riego de 6L por maceta de agua con el producto Flush para hacer un arrastre y limpieza de sales, en esta ocasion los 6L han sido la medida perfecta para que drenase agua suficiente como para que estos niveles de ec bajen, y ademas en el plato pudiera medirlos y darme el resultado que he puesto anteriormente. Todo comenzó porque en la Kritical GB sentí un bloqueo de pk y la planta empezó a comerse sus hojas para conseguir magnesio, si llego a verlo como una carencia de magnesio o calcio la hubiera cagado atrozmente!

Week 7 begins. Removed some dead leaves and big leaves that were blocking light to the lower parts of the plant. Buds getting bigger and frosty! Very happy with the plants development up to this point.

Went away for seven days had a friend come by and water the garden Absolutely exploded since I’ve seen them last very pleased with all of the plants except for mystery auto number one. It is disappointing me some but hopefully the top will bring more growth. Can’t wait to see these continued to develop!!!

Cover crop breaking through lots of visible beneficial insects dirt smells good. Primed for the rest of veg/preflower. It with mycorrhizae molasses humic fulvic liquid this water will hit with the remainder of the alaska fish emulsion the next few watering plan on keeping kelp mycorrhizae and molasses. Mostly applying top dress going through flower as well as some potash and the remainder Pk blend I prepared. Ph a little higher than I wish might be a culprit of some over watering gonna allow a long dry retest and go from there those that have overcame the hormonal flowering shit are beginning to take off. Been amending the gravel and dirt surrounding my planting area and water around it too trying to encourage further outward root spread.

This grow took me around 12 weeks to complete. I harvested at about 80 days and got some beautiful dense nugs. I have found growing autos in DWC allows to get amazing results. During this grow I started feeding bloom nutrients at a much earlier stage to try and make them available as soon as the plant can use them. I also found this didn’t effect my stretch much and allowed for a whole lot of bud sites. Take note that most micro nutrient lines contain a lot of nitrogen and when the autos start making bud sites you can cut the grow nutrients much earlier. I had pretty good results with micro and bloom during the early flower stage. I also found that by gradually removing certain growth and not adding too much stress, the strain reacts pretty well. If you do decide to do a heavier defoliation, rather do it after the plant has completed its stretch. This will help not shock and stunt growth during vegetative stage. I would personally recommend to try and scrog this strain of grown in dwc for even larger yields as I removed quite a lor of growth during my grow. I will definitely make use of this for my next grow. At the middle of the flowering stage I installed a dehumidifier and tried to keep it between 45-55% RH. My temperatures were consistently between 20-27 degrees as I ran a 24h light cycle. I also made use of a mycelium bag for some added Co2 which I found worked well. I am overly satisfied with the yield and density of these flower and would recommend Fastbuds genetics to anyone looking to grow their own. High quality and very high yielding plant.

A hub of activity in the Fastbuds closet. All lower branches tied down, defoliation. Hit them with Shogun Geisha foliar a few days ago, and an application of Athena Stack ( Foliar) a day later. As far as I can see, they are thriving. Got another two (orange sherbet/gorilla cookies) which are 3-4 weeks younger. Germinated in soil, a first for me. Leaving the gorilla to do its thing, maybe defoliation/lollipop. The Sherbet is being put through a true mainline. The Shogun line is surprising me, I’m used to dry amendments/organics but it’s been so easy to follow their feed chart calculator on the website. Signs of pre flower showing on all of them , I’m expecting the stretch soon.
