12/20/24 chopped at day 55 with 80% cloudy and 10%amber and 10% clear or so hung for a couple days and noticed white fuzz forming at the base of the fan leaves coming out the tops colas. so thats a disaster. but these buds are so ridiculously dense that im not surprised. it still sucks. but i bucked everything else off and the stems and now am drying each bud out on a rack and trying to keep the humidity down and to save what i can. 1/4/25 saved a bit over an ounce. 30 grams dry. shes super triched out and hashy feeling when trimming. has deep black peppery notes when smoked but smells creamy and fruity/ tropical especially while

Peace!

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

🍋🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 6 From Seed (Week 2 Flower · 12/12 From Seed) Hello everyone 👋 Quick recap and a warm welcome to anyone joining the diary now, here’s where we are and how we got here. 🌱 From Seed to Now, Quick Context These Lemon Cherry Gelato girls have been grown 12/12 from seed, and we are now entering what we consider Week 2 of flower / transition. Pre-flowers are clearly visible, stacking has begun, and the stretch is now turning into early bulk. They are in that beautiful in-between phase where they still look slightly vegetative, but their behavior is unmistakably flowering. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% It’s still a bit cold outside, but as plant mass increases, lighting intensity goes up, and under-canopy lighting is added, the tent itself has become a stronger heat source. This allowed us to stabilize conditions without forcing anything, exactly how we like it. • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on plant size and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm • Airflow: unchanged • vortex extraction • cross-winds with multiple fans • constant, gentle movement across the canopy ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks an important nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 From this point forward, all feedings will be pH 6.0 and above. The reason is simple: as flowering progresses, plants shift their nutrient uptake priorities, and slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for bloom development. Nutrient Change • Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml / L • Removed: Terra Grow This change is happening now, not earlier, because the plants have clearly entered the flowering transition. There’s no rush, no shock, just following the plant’s signals. The current recipe (our “Plagron” approach) continues to perform exceptionally well, and plant response has been outstanding so far. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Plant Handling We are continuing with a very minimal-stress approach: • No topping • No aggressive defoliation • Only leaf bending and leaf tucking This method keeps the structure open, exposes bud sites naturally, and avoids recovery downtime. Simple, effective, and extremely practical, sometimes simplicity isn’t laziness, it’s efficiency. The results speak for themselves: • strong branching • compact “ball” formations • clean stacking • healthy color fade beginning naturally ⸻ 📸 Visual Progress This update includes a large set of photos (studio + tent shots) to clearly show: • the transition phase • stretch turning into bulk • visible growth differences over just one week Every time the tent doors open, growth is noticeable, and comparing earlier photos to the latest ones makes that even clearer. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Over the coming weeks: • stretch will gradually slow • bulk and stacking will take over • plant handling will be reduced even further • stability becomes the priority What not to expect: • heavy pruning • forced corrections • unnecessary interventions At this stage, the goal is to let the plants do what they already know how to do. ⸻ 🙏 Thanks Big thank you to: • everyone following along • newcomers and long-time readers • supporters, critics, observers, all welcome • the Grow Diaries Team and platform • and all sponsors backing the journey This is a key week in the run, and we’re excited to document it properly and share the learning with the community. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. 8/20 D37 Pics : Ceila 22"x21"x15" Side and Top and she is not really much bigger than the rest weight wise Full tent, this is why I just ordered a bigger boat... they just keep growing. I am going to have them on bloom nuets and water until the new tent is set up in a couple of days hopefully. The five gal pots are a real keeper just need a bigger tent for flowering, the 4x4 with sperate seedling and mini veg area will be fine. Tent porn: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HQRGL6P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 8/23 D40 New 4x4 plus 1x4 germ and cloning area tent is setup and plants in the new home. They are looking better not being so jammed up and the light can even be moved up as the side coating is excellent, plenty of light. Climate conditions inside the tent are ridiculously easy to control just from the increased area inside may hold plenty of fans, humidifier, or whatever else is needed. Not to mention being able to stand inside the tent with the plants. The smaller tent is being given veg duties for the next rotation. Fed Rchrg/Bio-bloom-grow just no deficiencies at this point to address, everything seems fine 8/25 D42 End of week First real haircuts for all , leafy strain but easy to work. Tried to get as many sites uncovered completely as possible yet keep the total under 5% so as not stress the plant too much. Worked on the bottoms (heh) of the plants so nothing will restrict air flow or hijack nuets, Will replace these pics with better later, color correction is not as strong as we would wish.

We had some problems with the light we were using and re-installed the Spyder. Long story. The plants are looking good, frosty, stinky, bud size could be bigger but they are dense. We found out that one of the lights is only operating at about 40% capacity, which held back the one side of the tent. Things are looking better with the new light. Hard to say if the UVB is making difference as these are all new strains, but we hope for the best 😁 Some Pheno's are really starting to show off. Honestly most are looking good and its going to be hard to choose keepers. May need another run.. Some plants are on their way to being ripe and ready for piking so I am sure we will start harvesting some in the next week or so. Check yeah next week 👊
