D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

The Plant as a hole (without the main stem and roots was 1.4kg. due to German laws I could only keep around 250g of the nicest buds of it. This should end in around 50g of dried flower. The wet flower weight would likely be around 1kg which would have resulted in 200g dry. For drying i took one nice branch of 42g and hung it on my ESPHome scale. That way I can track the weight loss. After a week at 60% humidity and 11°C (52F) the weight was constant at 10.8g. This is the time I took down all the drying branches, trimmed them and put them to cure (where they now are). Overall conclusion and learnings of this grow: - 200W might not be enough - Growing in DWC without any media (like pebbles, rock wool or so) is absolutely doable - Compo Expert Hakaphos Red/Green works but you will battle PH drops - The UVC aquarium cleaner worked great. Never had to use H2O2 - Renewing the water only if really needed works fine for me - 15L of Water should be the lower limit. The bucket I used was great but maybe a bit small - Automatic PH dosing (based on ESPHome and Home Assistant) works great - The cheap Chinese PH/EC probe did not drift much. I only had to recalibrate it once - It is nice to have the plant elevated for working on it but can get tricky if the stretch is very high like in this case Overall I'm happy. I did not have any bigger issue with pests or nutrient deficiency.

Hi everyone! The plants are going nicely. All of them were topped on Day 14. Started giving 2ml of Advanced Nutrients Grow, Micro, Bloom - They took it very well. Amnesia Haze - I'm going to mainline this plant with 2 branches only Apricot - Got stretched more than other plants, so I started doing LST on Day 16. Other plants - I'm going to mainline and test with 4 and 6 branches. For now, Im gonna let the branches grow a bit to maintain even canopy. Temp doesn't go up more than 27-28 which is perfect at day and at night, goes down at 21 around. Humidity day 55%, night 75%. Happy growing! ----- UPDATE Day 18 - Did some adjustments on the LST on day 17 and day 18. had a surprise guest in one of the pots but now we are good (the video) 👽

Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.

I have had to bend over quite a few far reaching branches with this sativa girl. It's funny, I used to worry about bending and breaking a branch. 8/23 they just keep stacking Jesus chroist.

. FIRST DAYS ------------- The girls tolerated the topping well; in three days, I found small bushy bushes in my tent. So, a little mainlining to give them the desired shape, and a little splash of water with just Voodoo. Tomorrow they will receive their 4ml Grow A+B, with 2ml B-52 this time. PS: as you can see in the photo, a little mistake due to over-enthusiasm... I damaged one, but the branch didn't break completely; a little bandage, we'll see if it recovers, if not it will do without that branch. I cut the “horizontal” sites, as I don't want branches growing in the center of the structure. PS: - The damaged branch is not dead, but does not seem to be recovering; I will give it a few more days before deciding to cut it - On the other hand, I had an unpleasant surprise: one of my other girls showed signs of wilting and browning on three of the four branches. The plant was harvested and trimmed, yielding a total of 101 grams. Buds are notably dense and carry a satisfying weight, indicating strong structural development and resin content. - Humidity has been high in Berlin again but I managed to control it way better with the arrival of dehumidifier but still can not manage to bring it to lower 50%s. - VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.55 kPa, averaging at 1,25 kPa. - Tent temperature fluctuated around 23 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 26.3. Higher than last week… - Humidity did not fluctuate as it used to but still way higher than ideal range, averaging at 63.4. - This week, Medium Ph got back to normal of 6.3. I am now giving standard 6.4 Ph Water. - Both plants keep frosting day on day. - Stickiness and smell keep getting stronger. - So far, both seem to like their environment despite the high humidity and temperature.

Week 5 and I expected the flowering begins soon. But it's around the corner for sure!

6.4. Die 3 Babys wurden jeweils in 15l Stofftöpfe von Zamnesia 1,5cm unterhalb Erdfläche eingelegt und mit Erde bedeckt. Als Erde wird die 420Grow Erde von Gardenboss verwendet und es wurden jeweils 10gramm von Rhizobacter (RQS) der Erde beigefügt. Im untersten Teil der Stofftöpfe wurden Blähtonkugeln ausgelegt. Die ersten 2-3 Wochen sollen die Pflanzen auf der Fensterbank zur Südseite wachsen und dann in einem Foliengewächshaus (Kesser) auf dem Balkon (ebenfalls südliche Ausrichtung) bis zur Ernte bleiben.

Absolutely amazed at the growth over the last week. Gave the plants their first (tiny) nute feed at 10 days old, 50% of recommended amounts. No problems with temp after lowering light. GG has the tallest and shortest plants, CC are all way more consistent in size and shape. All plants bar baby GG are on third set of "5" leaves. Keen to start LST soon, will probably top GG1 at around day 21, and play rest by ear.

This week went pretty good! I did some light defoliation, and I also had to tie up some colas for support, as they started drooping towards the floor as the buds begin to bulk up finally. I believe I have another week or two at most for them to bulk, then it will be time to flush. The pictures really do not show how this pig is taking over my little 4x4. I never thought one auto could damn near fill a 4X4, but little miss piggy is trying. The more I feed this hog, the hungrier she gets. I also started feeding her some PK booster last week. I believe my plan to rotate these autos will work out well, as there is absolutely no way I could fit 4 autos in my tent at once nearing the end of flower. Week 20 marks a transition phase for the Pineapple Upside Down, and the plant is now one full week into her new environment. The light cycle remains unchanged at 12 hours, and nutrition stayed stable. However, the major shift this week was the move from a 5000K veg light to a 3500K full-spectrum panel. This immediately triggered a visible reaction: the leaves, previously flat and perfectly extended, curled downward, showing a clear photonic stress response. Structurally, the plant is beginning to adapt. The earlier LST work is starting to show again: the tops are lifting toward the light, suggesting that she is reorienting herself and gradually regaining balance. Externally, the structure indicates a slow recovery, even though internal metabolic adjustment to the new spectrum will take more time. All environmental parameters were intentionally kept constant: – PPFD maintained at 550 after a 72-hour acclimation at 300 PPFD, – Temperature around 23°C, – Relative humidity near 70%, – No changes in nutrient formulation. This week’s focus was stabilization rather than growth. Given the current signs — partial recovery of the tops while the leaves still show stress — the plant will not be flipped to flower until she demonstrates a clear return of vigor. The upcoming week will be key. If the foliage regains posture and the stress diminishes, the transition to flowering can be considered. Until then, the approach remains minimal: no corrections, no boosters, only patience and consistency. Week 20 closes on a cautious yet optimistic note. The plant is stressed but responsive. Had to spray some medicine again as there was a few bite marks from spidermites. May not get rid of em but can keep them at a lower number until harvest otherwise I would love to get rid of em but don't know the likelihood of that happening. Currently in the tent at 12/12 light schedule and have the lights running at night so cold of the night doesn't stunt any growth.
