Overall tougher strain to grow but a delight once finished. Found myself doing work around the house or jamming to music more often than not after smoking this strain. Tasted earthy with a hint of mint.

I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL. It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size. The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.' Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this. Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds. We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one. The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

Week 4 – Vegetative Stage – Mango Kush (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Tent: 8x8 Shared Environment Environment Control: • TrolMaster Ecosystem (Model One LED by ThinkGrow) • Future Of Grow Ecosystem (Black Series 600W) Watering: Hand-fed Nutrient Line: Aptus Holland (unchanged recipe) ⸻ 🌱 Two Paths, One Queen’s Blood This week marks a defining moment in the journey of our two Mango Kush phenotypes—Pheno #1 and Pheno #2—both sharing the same genetics, but taking very different roads toward flower. ⸻ 👑 Mango Kush #1 – The Trailblazer She’s taken the lead and she knows it. Currently at her 8th or 9th node, she’s branching out beautifully, vigor, symmetry, structure. This girl is showing early signs of dominance, with a wide frame and a hunger for light. Her architecture screams “future canopy queen.” 📸 We took her to the photo studio again this week and wow. She’s a natural in front of the lens. Her structure is clean, confident, and glowing under the full-spectrum light. ⸻ 🌱 Mango Kush #2 – The Rising Sister Much younger, but full of potential. Currently pushing her 4th pair of leaves, this one was a late germination and is only about 2.5 weeks old since she popped above soil. Despite her smaller size, there’s something familiar about her. Her leaf shape and structure closely mimic Mango #1 during her early days, tight internodes, round fans, calm posture. Genetics run strong here. We’re keeping her in veg for as long as possible, but next week we’re flipping everything to flower, which means she’ll start blooming early. It’s not ideal, but it’s necessary, as the older girls (Mango #1, the Lava Cake and the rest of the sisters) are growing fast and space must be balanced. ⸻ 💧 Nutrients – No Change, Still Precision We’re keeping the Aptus Holland formula exactly as it is for this week. The girls are loving it, and there’s no sign of deficiency or excess. Here’s what they’re still getting in each liter: • Regulator – 0.15 ml: Structure, resilience, and stress defense • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: Building the skeleton • 💧 All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: A steady and complete base • 🌱 Start Booster – 0.25 ml: For root expansion and early shoot development This balanced, light recipe keeps things clean and focused, supporting both the rapid growth of Mango #1 and the early development of Mango #2. ⸻ 🌡️ Lights, Climate, & Ecosystem Balance Both Mango Kush plants are thriving under dual full-spectrum LEDs: • TrolMaster ecosystem running the ThinkGrow Model One LED • Future of Grow ecosystem running the Black Series 600W Each system is tuned to maintain optimal light intensity for its space and phase. Climate conditions are steady thanks to active airflow, dual controllers, and filtered intake/exhaust setups. 💨 Carbon filters from TrolMaster and Spider Farmer keep the air clean and pure, even though we haven’t reached flower yet, clean air is good air, and early filtering helps prevent environmental noise and pathogens. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect… and What Not To What to expect: • Mango #1 will likely dominate flower structure, showing her potential early • Mango #2 may surprise us with a compact, denser canopy due to earlier light flip • Structural differences will emerge—same genetics, but different timelines = different expressions • Visual comparisons will help us understand Mango Kush’s phenotypic range What not to expect: • Uniform results—they’re the same strain, but on very different developmental clocks • Aggressive training—due to the timeline, we’re letting them grow mostly unmanipulated ⸻ 📣 Final Words – Community & Curiosity We thank you all for reading, growing, and following this journey with us. ✨ Every grow is a conversation between light, root, leaf, and time. Mega Strain bin super happy 😊.

Everything has been going well , the growth has not stopped and the leaves are nice and green . I raised the power from 40% to 50%. When I did that the leaves on the gsc started curling upwards a little bit so I elevated my lights from 2.5 ft to 3ft . and will continue to raise the power gradually every week until at the max 900 watts . I have been watering them every time they are dry and keeping a close eye on any changes . So far so good !

These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably won’t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and it’s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs. Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow

This girl is finally starting to put on a little stretch, but she is still by far the shortest plant of the bunch. I lifted her up about 3 inches so she doesnt get completely smothered out over the next week. I will lift her another 3 inches if she doesnt make more upward progress soon. I moved her to the front of the room for easy access since she need daily defoliation being as bushy as she it. She is definitely different than any in house strain I have seen. Besides that she is a happy girl. Starting to see a few pistils and she is transitioning. The scrog setup is working great for the plants that have grown through it. It is really going to help me put each top where I want it and keep them spread out so more of those lower branches can make their way up. So far everything is running nice and smooth just the way we like it.
