Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.

These ladies are super healthy I want to feed them but a little worried about nute burn so I'll hold off a few days or dilute the feed I have. I just lowered the light a bit and dimmed it because I want them to stretch. That is known as crop steering I want them to all get tall and eventually I may set them in a greenhouse once flowering or big enough. Day 63 This plant is clearly behind the other Frostbanger . The buds are forming but they’re lighter and not as dense, and overall she just doesn’t have the same strength. I’ve noticed the leaves showing signs of calcium and magnesium deficiency for a while now – rusty spots, interveinal yellowing, and some crispy edges on the older fan leaves. Even after adding Cal/Mag supplements, the damage on the lower leaves is already visible and won’t recover, though the new growth looks a bit healthier. Despite the issues, the plant is still pushing through and producing some nice flowers. The pistils are starting to change color and a few trichomes are cloudy, but she’s definitely not as frosty or swollen as the stronger plants. The smell is there, just not as intense. I’ll let her go to see how much more she can develop, but I don’t expect the same yield. At this point it’s more about finishing her properly and learning from the deficiency for the next run.

The flowering is starting to become noticeable. At first, all the pistils have developed well. It's clear that the plant is drinking a lot more, although the soil takes a bit longer to dry out, so it stays somewhat damp. I’ll do a leaf pruning, removing one leaf per node.

I switched the light timer to 12/12 and turned the carbon filter on. I wish I had more space to grow vertically, but the height of my box and grow light distance limits me from vegging too long. I hope to have a larger set up in the future 😀. At the start of week 7 The girls are chugging along (Cal/Mag really seemed to help) and I'm looking forward to seeing the bud structure and that Blueberry smell! I will be going on vacation in a little over a week for 8 days 😅. This is also why I started flowering now..so that I can be home during the majority of the stretch period(12 days from flip). The day I leave I will apply nutrients and thoroughly saturate the coco and then the girls will be watered with the blumats from my 5 gal reservoir (hopefully that is enough and there isn't too much PH drift). On day 5 of week 7 I applied 1 gal of nutrients until runoff. Week 7 went well.

Day 51 20/08/24 Tuesday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. With Plagron PK13-14 and power buds. Noticing the stretch stop, and now packing out there bud sites 💪💚 Day 54 23/08/24 Friday Watering only today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, I'm watering in 350ml no run off. 400ml I'm seeing tiny run off. Day 56 25/08/24 Sunday Water today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Added bud candy and rhino skin 1ml per litre.

Almost done 2 more weeks of just water and then we start the harvest 😁

Week 3-Day 21 of flower. These ladies have been on autopilot. The environment is controlled, we have been having some temp and RH swings, but the equipment is dialed in. I have a portable AC when it is humid and hot, only needs to run for 15 minutes from time to time to keep the lung room/tent at the perfect temps. I can’t say enough how important it is to test, test and dial in your environment. I can already see big advancements in my photo periods from when I started, to today just a 1 1/2 years later. Having your environment as close to perfect as you can, can compensate for A LOT of rookie Mistakes 🤓 Anyways, still keeping to Feed, Feed, water schedule, despite the tip burn, I’ve dialed it back to about 900 ppm and seeing how the plant reacts. Did a light defoliation, which will probably be the last one. Seems like all I am doing at this point is watching and watering. Happy Growing Folks 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
